Loved this place and would definitely come back. It was cozy and comfortable and i felt safe as a solo female traveler. Recommendations would be black out curtains in the bedroom. And a remote with volume control.

Excellent location for the Pike Market, restaurants and shopping. Hallways and elevator a bit dirty and rundown. Apartment was well-stocked and clean but heating wasn't working well in living room. Nice people working there.

Overall great experience with a great location in the heart of downtown. Receptionist was amazing with my needs and accommodation. The only thing I dislike is the heater not contributing to the heat in the living room space.

This appealed to me as it had a kitchen in the studio . On arrival I thought the building lobby was very tired looking making me wonder what the rooms were like . Worry over the room was amazing brightly lit and the bed was so comfy it was like lying on a cloud. The kitchen was spotless well equipped. Fridge freezer , kettle. Microwave and coffee maker. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice. Only criticism is the smell in corridors from people’s suites that were cooking but it wasn’t an issue. I had a great view of the water and pike market i felt safe being a sold female traveller . The desk staff were helpful in getting me a cab at 04.00 for an early flight . Deposit refunded same day too . If I return to Seattle I will def stay here again

This hotel is fantastic. You cannot beat the location. One block away from Pike Marketplace and a block away from the light rail line. It was like having our own little apartment in the city. Highly recommend. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Great location but old school building that could use some refreshing. Didn’t really like the pull down window shades that didn’t fully co we the windows so a lot of city light coming in at night. Literally a block from pike place market so that’s cool but really loud city noise all night of course.

Elevator does not work. I had to walk up 4 flights of stairs to my room…which would be ok if you didn’t charge full rate.

Hotel was clean. Loved the location and upgrades. Elevator not working was not good. As to cleanliness, the pillows smelled like cologne or perfume, not quite sure. Bathroom sink did not have room for toiletries. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay. Front desk and guard watching the exterior doors were professional, friendly and courteous.

Comfortable room but with the elevator broken it was a 5 story climb multiple
Times a a day. The price was right and it is in the middle of everything.

Hard to find the entrance but once inside we were pleased with the size of the accommodations.

Elevator wasn’t working so it was 4 flights of stairs up with heavy luggage. The room just seemed cluttered and crowded with the furniture layout.

We loved our room here! It was a full one bedroom apartment so we had plenty of room to spread out during our 3 night stay in Seattle. The furnishings were very modern and the bed was very comfy. They even had an in-unit washer/dryer with soap included to wash your clothes. The location of this hotel is also 10/10. We were able to explore the city for a few hours and come back to our hotel multiple times in a day to rest, which really made an impact on our trip. The only negative I had was we were right next to pike place so at times I could hear cars and sirens outside, but it wasn’t too bad as I was able to get plenty of rest. I’d highly recommend the coffee shop directly under the hotel, Victoria.

Excellent location and lovely room. The lift was out of order but not a problem for us.

I’ve stayed here before. It’s under new management but still a great place. The location is excellent & the apartment very nicely designed. I would return again.

I've never seen the movie Sleepless in Seattle but I can imagine how it goes after staying here. The apartment was nice but Christ was it noisy. The racket from the air conditioning was almost as loud as the street noise. The elevator also broke on day 1 so we had to go to reception every time we needed access to the building then the stairs were a killer especially with luggage, the staff did help out and were super friendly and accommodating. The place had everything I needed to live comfortably but my hair grows faster than the WiFi. Overall it was okay but mainly because of where it was.

Very nice, clean and modern hotel. I had the most beautiful view! The full kitchen was great, fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The only thing is that the walls were a bit thin and the person working at the front desk on the day I checked in was a bit unhelpful, but other than that everything was perfect, and I would gladly come back here!

The property was conveniently located around everywhere downtown. The furniture was a little uncomfortable and small but for a three/four day trip it works.

Excellent stay! Communication with staff was easy and helpful as our flight came in later than anticipated. This is a high traffic area for tourists and those looking for a place to stay before heading out on a cruise, so be warned when approaching the entrance. Understandably, the building has history and can be felt in the small narrow foyer and the elevator, but I think it is a quirky characteristic of the place. Studio apt had everything needed to be self sufficient with cooking. Floor was definitely quiet throughout day and night, which was excellent as I am a light sleeper. Laundry room was easy to find and use. Be sure to plan out your loads as you will need to use an app to utilize machines.

There is only one elevator to the rooms, and it wasn't working, and in order to get up to the room I had to ask front desk to let me in from the back door every time, then go out of the building amd around the corner. Asking about when the elevator would be fixed, they shrugged off the idea, hinting that it will take a very long time.
The room itself was mediocre.

Location is perfect to traverse pike place market and other neighboring establishments. The rooms however didn’t have a vent system so it can get pretty hot after a shower and the elevator broke down but we didn’t mind the escort to the other side of the building at night considering the building is from the 1930s or so: nicely renovated. Highly recommend.

Great location. The Public Market is a two minute walk and about a 20 minute walk (down hill) to the piers. Very clean.

This hotel is conveniently located one block from Pike Place Market and the waterfront. The two room arrangement is a plus, with a separate living room and bedroom. The kitchen has basic equipment. The queen bed is very comfortable and has lovely down pillows. The unit is very quiet, almost like being in a cave. Don’t open the blinds because you will be looking directly into your neighbor’s unit. That being said, there are some drawbacks. The area is a bit sketchy, with a lot of homeless and mentally unstable individuals. The keypad at the front door is very hard to see and operate. It often took several tries to open the door, and we felt a little vulnerable. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived at 6 pm and when we returned from dinner at 9 pm. There are several restaurants in the area, but we were not sure where it was safe to walk. The second and third days, there was usually someone there. Don’t expect a full service hotel. The bathroom is OK, but very small and cramped. The bathroom door will barely close. The AC works well, but there is a musty odor in the apartment. The bedroom rug appears to have dog urine spots (I’m assuming it is dog urine!). It would be nice if there was a lamp in the living room, because the only light comes from some extremely bright overhead lights. Overall, the apartment was acceptable and functional and a good value.

An easy walk to many fun Seattle attractions, and lots of great places to eat and shop nearby. It's a cool older building, and the suite was very modern and very well-equipped. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the area felt overall quite safe. The only negative was the noise. Our suite looked out over an alley, and between drunks and garbage trucks, we didn't get much decent sleep. We'd stay here again, but request a room on the other side of the building.

we liked the closeness to pikes market and the tram

Pike Place, shopping, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Staff was friendly, room was clean. The lobby and elevator can get a little tight because they're small. The lobby is more like a hallway and the elevator is just big enough for two people and their suitcases. It's an older, historical building so it's all part of the experience staying at Reside. All in all excellent stay!

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect to explore Seattle. Staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the kitchenette and laundry options, though the laundry did not work in the room. (The only downside.) no view from the first floor which made the lighting dim. But we weren’t in the room during the day much. We would stay again!

This is a great location for visiting downtown Seattle. Walking distance to the market and monorail. We also felt very safe.

Easy to walk to pike place market, multiple cafes, and other touristy things. The property is a little dated with not really any signage regarding the hotel. We came for a short stay and it was as perfect.

We have been awoken overnight twice by trash trucks emptying dumpsters outside our window. At one point there was a loud broadcasted noise. Very disturbing.
Also frustrated that we could not easily view live tv from common channels on the tv, i.e CNN.

You cannot beat the location of this hotel if you plan to visit Pike Place Market while in Seattle. We found it to be very convenient.
The hotel and rooms were old and in need of updates.
2.0 / 5.0
The furniture and amenities seemed new but there was a foul stench that permeated the entire room for the extent of my stay. It could have been from some of the homeless individuals camped outside or a previous guest so I asked the property manager to have the room re-cleaned & bought air fresheners but nothing seemed to improve the smell. I would not recommend staying here.

Great hotel! Not a hotel, but a renovated apartment building. Lots of character. I was alone and felt completely safe. Lots of tourists out in the street. Was in my room at 9pm.
Just a step outside the building, you can see Pikes Place. So close. 2 minute walk to the best waffles and clam chowder bread bowls
I loved the room. It was like a small, updated apartment. The kitchen was my favorite. Oven, frig, microwave, coffee maker, dish towels, utensils, pots, pans, cute table with chairs, windows, etc. I especially liked the sink . Big and modern with cool drying rack shelving. I took a photo for the future, so I can do the same.
Went to their gym on the bottom floor to lift weights in the morning. Huge area. TV was on so I watched the news/weather while I worked out.
Would I stay here again? Absolutely!
I stayed here the night before my cruise and walked to the Cruise Line in the morning. The walk took about 10 minutes or so.
