This is a unique property which has been well renovated. The layout with most of the accommodation and living space upstairs allowed us to have a separate space for our family one of which has an infant to have separate space downstairs next to the games room.
The property need a few maintenance issues dealing with including one of the beds needing a repair and the sofa bed upholstery needing renewal to make it more comfortable to sit on. A lick of paint would freshen up the property.
It does need a dishwasher installing for a property with so many bedrooms and some way to recycle bottles/ plastics etc.
Overall l a great stay with family in a large property in a beautiful area

Lovely property in a small village with picturesque views of the Welsh mountains. Lovely little cafe and pub on the same street and other amenities around a 15-20 drive.

The chapel was ideal for us for a family getaway weekend. Kids really enjoyed the bunk beds and the playroom whilst the adults had company clean rooms. Many thanks!

It was a big beautiful building for a large group to enjoy together and also get space separately. We enjoyed the games room and the living area was relaxing with the log burner. The beds were very comfy and rooms made up lovely. Heated bathroom floors was a luxury. Having cot/highchair available was great. The hot tub was fantastic and brill being ready to use. The area was lovely for a walk. The local red lion pub was cosy and they were very accommodating great recommendation! We really enjoyed the stay and it exceeded expectations!
The bedroom/bathroom doors need a bit of wd40 there was lots of squeaking! The games room sounds amplifies up to the bedrooms which was a bit stressy with sleeping babies but not sure what can be done about that!

The Chapel is in a lovely location with amazing views. There is plenty of space and the children loved having their own space in the games room. The little cafe next door is wonderful and the staff extremely friendly.
The cleanliness did put a dampener on our first night in the cottage but on the whole we had a lovely weekend with friends, the hot tub was lovely (no extra towels provided for the hot tub so bring your own)
The cleaning of the property was almost non existent. We arrived to a filthy kitchen, dirty towels, dirty beds with cobwebs and a good layer of dust on, cereal in beds, broken doors, broken games in the games room. No basics had been left so there was no toilet paper on arrival, bin bags etc. We reported it straight away & finest retreats tried to get the team back to sort but we ended up cleaning what we could ourselves to be able to sleep in the beds that night. Cleaners were supposed to then come on the Saturday and didn't turn up. We again reported it on the Sunday (due to leave on the monday) and the cleaners finally came on the Sunday but only cleaned the basic of what we had reported. At one point during our stay we had to move the settee to retrieve a toy that had rolled underneath and the dust was at least 2 inches thick. The settee is raised off the floor and on a wooden floor so very easy to move and to sweep a brush or mop under, it seems the cleaner just doesn't bother.
The finest retreats team did try their hardest to get it rectified for us

Location superb, on a quiet road in a beautiful Welsh village, with hills all around you & a good local pub, just a couple of minutes away. Beautiful building, impressively converted & the games room was a real hit with our 4 boys, as was the living area with the adults!
The kitchen was on the small side, considering the size & type of the property & potential number of guests (max 12). A dishwasher would be a good addition, as well as some more kitchen utensils. A shelfunit in the shared bathroom would be good, to put washbags etc on, as well as an armchair in each of the double bedrooms, as there is limited hanging space...

The property is a great space for groups, lots of room to hang out, comfy beds, great with the hot tub and beautiful location.
We were a group of 6 celebrating a 50th birthday. We found the space in the property excellent for chilling of an evening and the games room is a fab edition.
Great to hang out in the hot tub and the beds are all really comfortable.
The under floor heating in the bathrooms is lovely and the showers are amazing.
A dishwasher would be nice especially when the house can accommodate 12. Kitchen could do with a few more utensils such as good pans, cooking utensils and serving dishes. The fuss ball table was broken when we arrived as a couple of nuts had fallen off so was unusable.
More information regarding the local area would be nice such as places to visit, explore, eat and activities.
The house is clean but the high ceilings and exposed stone work have a few dust motes which need sorting out.

Booking through Finest Retreats was great from start to finish with any questions answered within 24 hours and very helpful. The chapel has been converted brilliantly with amazing taste and so beautiful - didn’t want to leave! Location is good with great walks and shops within a 10/15 minute drive - although I believe there are good walks straight from the house. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to meet up with family/friends any time of the year. Games room & hot tub a lovely bonus Thank you for a wonderful stay.
