We really enjoyed our stay house was great size for our family. Only thing wrong was showers! You couldn’t have two people have a shower at same time as water either went cold or stopped. Other than that very good.

Needs a little update, garden furniture old same with kitchen very well equipped but need a refurbished kitchen units.
It was very clean and a nice stay.

Friendly owners who were easy to contact and who provided welcome package of treats with a home made cake. Plenty of room for large extended family and areas for communal as well as quiet time. Three bathrooms provides good service for a large group. The house is quite close to the A40, which in winter is not such a problem, but is a source of noise. The area is beautiful and great access to the Wye valley. Enjoyed the Potting Shed for dinner and the friendly local shop with cafe. Recommend as a family escape.

Good property that catered for all of our needs. Plenty of space for everyone and decent sized bedrooms with the exception of the middle loft room (no hanging storage) each room had adequate storage. The kitchen was slightly outdated but had all the plenty of cockery.
The location lets the property down as you are very near the busy A40, you can hear the constant noise of the traffic. On the up side you have easy access to the many activities within the vicinity.

Good location. Spacious property. We had a problem with fridge/freezers, The owner responded very quickly.

We arrived a little early. Marianne was just finishing preparing the house for us. She made us so welcome and invited us to come in. Carl arrived shortly after with a welcome basket of food for us, so generous!
The house was very clean with lots of space inside. We used the patio area on our fort and last nights to enjoy some nibbles and a drink or two. Everyone had a wonderful time. I can’t recommend the property enough. Location is brilliant for walks the river Wye, pubs, restaurants and local sightseeing.
Saturday evening we went to the restaurant up the road (The Potting Shed) fabulous food and fabulous hosts. Great setting!
Thank you so much Gary and Marianne for being so thoughtful, we hope to come back again for our next celebration.

Really enjoyed the property- good location. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Had everything we needed.

This property was big enough to house us all with a nice big kitchen at the centre. 2 large sitting rooms and large bedrooms. The garden was lovely for the younger children. We wanted to be near the wye for canoeing so it was ideal! The property was very clean although a bit tired in places but suited us perfectly. We were able to go in early on our arrival date and there was a welcome pack with some local produce, gratefully received 😊 would definitely recommend a visit!

From booking to arrival the hosts were there to answer all questions, very helpful.
We found the place bigger than we imagined.
A large family gathering to round off birthday celebrations!
We had a fantastic long weekend. Fri-Monday Sunday evening sat on the side of the river in glorious sunshine.
The area is very beautiful and having the house too made it very enjoyable.
Spacious and comfortable. Couldn’t of hoped for more….

Great place to stay with family and the little ones. Really close to activities for the small ones and loved being near the river. Just off the main road so easy to access the othe towns nearby (Monmouth and Ross on Wye). Accomodation was great and large rooms/# of beds/bathrooms.

Spacious and well maintained house with nice garden space. Near main road, so some noise, but not intrusive.

11 of us stayed in this lovely home during half term. White Roses is spacious, clean and well equipped. It is very close to lots of riverside walks and other attractions in a beautiful area. We had a fantastic stay - thank you.

Great stay at Whiteroses. Owners were helpful and welcoming. House is excellent.

9 of us (6 adults, 3 teens) plus greyhound stayed here during Xmas and New Year. The house is large and spacious (and warm) with plenty of room for 9 + dog to lounge and eat together. Bedrooms are spacious and beds comfy, bathrooms were spotless.
Great location, although the weather was dire, so we spent lots of time enjoying the house. Garden was fully enclosed for the dog and spacious enough to let off steam.
Hosts were communicative, helpful and welcoming
Brilliant all round. Thank you.

16 of us stayed in the house recently (8 adults and 8 young children in 4 families of 4). The rooms were fantastic - all a good size, clean and the beds were amazingly comfy. Modern bathrooms too. The communal spaces also excellent - a huge hallway and a porch which make a difference for lots of people with coats and shoes etc. Plenty of room for 4 cars on the driveway.
We didn’t use the garden much as a little set back from the main house, but probably more because it was wet and windy so would be good in summer I’m sure. The water pressure is limited so you have to plan showers a little but we didn’t find that to be a problem.
Great location in easy drive to lots of fantastic walks and activities. Lovely local shop and takeaway right in the corner too.
Mariane was very helpful before the stay and very quick to respond including setting up a stair gate for us.
Highly recommend and we’d happily go back.

We had a great time in White Roses for our party of 12, 5 adults, 7 children. Great games of cricket in the garden, eating outside and Bbqs. Plenty of room for us all. Plenty to do around Symonds Yat West and East including walks and canoeing. Bike hire nearby in Parkend. Lovely welcome from Gary and Marianne. Great house to stay in. Fab house, fab times!
