The property was really nice. Everything I need is all there. The room decoration is also nice. I like the atmosphere of shared kitchen and lobby.
As I am new to this site, I don’t know what to do for entering in and how to use the facilities and so on and no receptionist to ask. But, When I texted to ask on the website, people there replied so quickly and I solved all the problem I had. They are so kind. The people there were are all nice to me.
From the city side, which I have to go everyday, it’s a bit distant, but if you get a bicycle. That’s no problem at all. (I suppose there is some bus stop near there, but I am not so sure for that. Sorry for that.) Coop is located near the house. It was really convenient.
At night, it’s really quiet. That’s good for sleep. There are sometimes car noise and the beep sound of door lock from outside, but it’s small and inevitable. So it’s totally fine.
The price is really reasonable. I like this place.

Near the city centre and good free car park.
The bins in the kitchen were smelly. The room was very dusty and smelly. Some towels were used and very dirty.

The room and toilet were clean.
The price was very high for the quality of the stay, the bed uncomfortable and the customer service not responsive when told the toilet pepper was finished. It took them 2 days.

The location was very central and close to a lot of shops and some small cafes. Room size was as expected for a room in Cambridge. Staff on the phone were friendly and polite. Room itself was clean on arrival.
The shower did not work when we got there and only finally got sorted (4 days in) after I mentioned that I would request a refund and go stay somewhere else. Not to mention prior to my mentioning that I would ask for a refund they were happy to let us just take cold showers until the maintenance man got around to actually coming to look at the shower! The communal fridge was full of mouldy/ off food (the shelf designated to our room was directly beneath a packet of raw chicken that was turning blue) and obviously had not been cleaned in a while. It’s sold as having a kitchen facility but the fridge and other communal areas were so dirty that we did not use any of it… and I’m not a germophobe by any means. The staff contacted us to arrange a cleaning since our stay was over a week and that just never happened. Finally, the bed was not a double as we’d been sold, rather two singles pushed together, and the mattresses were so old that there was no support and you could feel the springs. I could not even lay together in the double bed with my husband because you’d get forcibly rolled away from the middle of the bed by the sheer concave arch that was those mattresses. Not what I expected for nearly £1000 spent.

We arrived early evening to find another guest's belongings in our room. After searching for staff we found a cleaner who offered to move the luggage 'to the shed'. I assume the luggage owner was out for the evening and likely to return to the room at some point. We therefore decided to stay elsewhere - it did not feel very safe as I was staying in a triple room with my two daughters. Place looked ok for a budget stay but I had expected exclusive use of the bedroom! Company refused a refund as there was 'nothing wrong with the room'.

The location was good, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking.
The bed was not very comfortable, and space in the room was very limited if you need any space to work.

Very pleasant accommodation, very close to city centre, would stay again
Noise from the traffic outside

Shower was amazing but (Caution) very slippery we put a hand towel on shower tray... But that's all we liked
We got there and had to fill in a load of details on line also had to upload licence or passport luckily I had one with me all this had to be done outside as couldn't get in, then had to pay a £50 room deposit before they send u the access code to get in. room was large, décor ok but mattresses were cheapest of cheap layed on them and u was laying on the base, really poor quality floor would have been better......

The location was good, facilities good and comfortable, this was what we were looking for.
The booking system. None of the residents knew which room they were booked into, or the code to access the key, or even that there are key safes at the back of the building if you didn't use the car park and spot them. The folder for residents in the kitchen had the wrong WiFi code, and I couldn't find any toilet rolls when we ran out. There is nobody on site to ask for this sort of thing. Being a novice, I didn't know how to get the key pad at the front door to work. The system needs tweaking. On the plus side, the person at the other end of the email address responded in about half an hour which was useful. I think some residents had more trouble than we did. The other things I want to say are that I've never been asked for a security deposit before (and £150 seems excessive, I will be checking my bank account to see that it is returned) or a passport photo, also excessive, especially as we never met anyone so it could have been anyone's photo.
