The residence was clean, the location was great! Responsiveness from the owner was immediate! I would highly recommend this property!

The house worked for our larger group and was in the area we were looking for. It’s an older house so there were some issue with doors closing loudly, sticking or not locking. I had a small issue checking in, we didn’t get our door code until shortly after check-in which was stressful as I wasn’t going to be the first to arrive and my other guests kept asking if we got a code. In the past I usually receive the code earlier in the day which always gave me peace of mind. There also wasn’t many extra consumables like toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, or extra towels and blankets. Other than that it worked for our group, the hot tub and fireplace were great amenities too.

The house was great size for our big family. The neighborhood was great and walking distance to lots of food options. The hot tub was a great to have after a long day. We had no trouble with parking or neighbors. I would definitely stay here again when we come back.

There were several positives about this house -- it was plenty big enough for our party of 11, it had 6 king beds, had plenty of hot water and was clean. The negatives were many though and for the price really needs to be taken care of -- the downstairs toilet never worked right - had to lift the lid to flush, the ice maker did not work, very limited kitchen supplies, the doors did not shut properly (which was weird traveling with friends) Parking was a major issue - street parking only and good luck finding a spot, thankfully we only drove one van for 11 people. The biggest drawback is the crazy neighbor - she yelled at us the entire time - about parking, sitting outside, the hot tub, literally anything at all she didn't like she was yelling out the window at us, pretty sure she doesn't want this property to be a rental..... it was a major downer for a group getaway.

All the towels, hand cloths and wash cloths smelled awful and were unusable. Contacted David and he said he would reimburse us for the towels we purchased, if we left them at the house for future guests. We did leave the towels and still awaiting payment despite multiple contacts to David with no response.
I asked before arrival if he had hot tub towels. David said he did, but he did not. I also asked about the grill and he said he had one. However, there was no propane in the grill. David said he was unable to refill during our stay. He did offer to reimburse if we filled. We changed our dinner plans and didn’t refill. I am glad we didn’t because still waiting reimbursement on the towels.
The host communication is not great. When we booked, I reached out with a few questions and he never responded. Reached out again the day before we were to arrive and he did respond. During stay did respond when we reached out about the towels and propane, but left guests to solve his problems. Currently unresponsive when asking about reimbursement.
The kitchen is very small and not accommodating for 10-12 people. Very little counter/prep space. Only 5 spoons and not many more forks. Also bring your own kitchen towels, wash cloths, dish sponges and hot tub towels.
The bedrooms/beds were okay. One bed is caving in. It was like sleeping in a hammock.
Also a strong smell of pot outside one night.
Positives: good location, hot tub was nice.

The house has a lot of charm and is in a wonderful location. The rooms are big and the street parking was never an issue. Plenty of space to spread out for a larger group. The owner was easy enough to deal with during check-in and check-out, just sending a code and leaving a book with details. That being said, there are some maintenance issues that they need to address for this to be a 5-star rental.
While having 6 king beds, they were all noticeably hard with a strange assortment of frames, all of which seemed to have come from the bargain bin. At this price point, you would expect stable legs. A lot of burnt-out bulbs, and one bedroom had a broken bulb in the socket.
The Ice maker and water dispenser weren't functioning, and the handheld shower head was missing a mount. We needed to buy paper towels, TP, Ice, and bottled water but that isn't too big of an issue for a rental.
They ask previous renters to wash towels but provide no detergent, we would recommend bringing your own towels. the outdoor space is nice, but the 10 p.m. quiet hours are strictly enforced by a nosey neighbor. During the day, you will be lucky to not be swarmed by the alarming amount of flies coming from their uncovered bins.
It's an older home that was rehabbed to be a nice rental in a lovely neighborhood, better maintenance between guests would make this a great option for a vacation. I am disappointed to say our guests experienced a plethora of issues with this VRBO.

The house was exactly as described. Great for a large group of ladies in town for a concert. We were enjoying the hot tub- 5 ladies, no music, just chatting. At 10:04 the neighbor opens her window and says the hot tub closes at 10. We kindly told her that the rules say “quiet time between 10pm-10am” I was not under the impression that meant we couldn’t be outside or would need to be silent. I messaged the host and asked if there was a “close” time. He said no, but “if the neighbor could hear us, are we really respecting quiet hours” I never heard anything more from him. At 10:15 the neighbor opened her window and yelled at us saying we “needed to get our $#it and go inside. That if we didn’t she would cal the police.” We told her that language is uncalled for and to have a nice evening. Then she left the window open.
I told the host this and we never heard back from him.
.
The only issue with the house was that there were not enough towels for the hot tub and showers for the amount of ppl we had listed as sleeping there.
Also the dryer didn’t work.
If it wasn’t for the neighbor we would stay here again

Took a men’s group to Louisville for a Bourbon experience. Property was clean and adequate for the group. Nice to have a hot tub as well. The property is a little further southeast off of Old Bardstown road, but just an Uber away from the action as well as downtown area..

We stayed for a great friend of ours Bachelor Party and this was the perfect spot! The house had plenty of space and plenty of seating for the 10 of us. The back yard area was a great place to unwind and the hot tub definitely helped get the day started and end the afternoon! Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend!

We booked this property to celebrate my husband’s 40th with family and friends. Each of the 6 large bedrooms has a comfy king size bed in it, and the home itself has great interior decorating, highlighting some of Louisville’s history and offerings, from bourbon to baseball. The back patio has a cute sitting area, illuminated by string lights, with a fire pit and hot tub. A really great space to enjoy a glass of bourbon with friends! The neighborhood is perfect for those looking for food, arts, and entertainment. The owners were super responsive and pleasant to interact with. Highly highly recommend this property and neighborhood, we’ll be back soon!

Overall we had a great experience. The house is spacious and comfortable. The fire table in the backyard was such a nice way to wind down in the evenings. It would have been nice to have some towels, dish cloths and paper towels in the kitchen, but it wasn't as deal breaker. The only real downfall was the neighborhood. It was very loud and we were awoken every night by neighbors and local bar traffic. Obviously not the homeowners fault, but still worth mentioning.

This was the perfect house for a large gathering! Very clean and orderly! Lots of indoor and outdoor space so that a large group doesn’t feel too crowded. Close to a very walkable street with lots of things to see and do.
Definitely would recommend!
