fraîchement rénové avec goût, bons conseils du tenancier pour activités à proximité, plats cuisinés de qualité le soir. Propre et spacieux. Jeune apprenti au service. Parking gratuit à disposition. Check-out facile.

We had a beautiful room at the front of the hotel overlooking a hill..hotel was spotless and well maintained.
Only I toilet roll for room for 2 nights. Needed to complete form to get more toilet rolls and have room serviced.. this was not done!
Food overpriced and would expect freshly cooked new potatoes instead of recooked new potatoes..25.00 for 2 pieces of salmon, potatoes and a few other veg.. (not big portion) seems a bit steep to me!

The food was amazing!! The staff extremely accommodating. My friend and I “older females” were traveling together. The stairs to our room with luggage was a challenge. The staff carried our luggage up for us.

Breakfast freshly cooked to order with wide variety of choice and quality of products was excellent.

Super Hotel. Staff were first class and worked extremely hard to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Great location for exploring the Cairngorms. Brilliant room with space to relax during our 4 night stay. Breakfast and restaurant food were all excellent. Many thanks to the McKinnes team.
Nothing to dislike.

Great location in Kingussie and also close enough to Aviemore. Sarah was very friendly and was always ready to make recommendations on places to visit both in Kingussie and further afield in Scotland. The family room had two seperate bedrooms which was ideal for giving everyone a little more space. The breakfast was delicious and portions were huge. We ate in the restaurant due to not much being open in town in February - would defiantly recommend it.

great staff, beautiful surroundings, delicious food; we visited 30.12-2.1. and joined the local NY celebrations with candle-lit procession. We woke up to a winter wonderland - everything covered with snow. We built a snowman, went for a hike along a trail adorned with Christmas ornaments & did some sledding. Our stay was epic. Thank you !!!

Lovely rooms. Coffee making facilities were good except for the selection. couldn't fault our room, but our companion had a broken tap which maintenance didn't respond to. Cleaning is only on demand. Nice walking nearby.
The breakfast was a bit odd, every single element had to be specified and we had to ask for plates. Staff seemed uninterested. Try to find somewhere else to eat.

Clean and smart decor. great location. staff very responsive and helpful. Good breakfast.
The cot bed is stained and ripped. Could this be replaced?

We were just there for one night. The accommodation was well positioned in the village, the room was good and the hotel was tastefully decorated. We were welcomed by Peter who was friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the evening and met Liz, the chef. The food was excellent and she was a delight. Good menu and excellent range of gins. Breakfast was exceptional (again down to Liz). It was freshly cooked and care had been taken over the choices available. Netflix and Prime were available, which was an unexpected bonus.
There is no lift. This could be difficult for people with mobility issues.
