The owners were so welcoming, the property was beautiful and well located, walking distance to center of Monreale and the cathedral, breakfast was more than generous and our room was very comfortable and well equipped.
we liked everything.

Lovely house with antique furniture and a garden area with secure parking. Our room had a balcony with a partial view of the sea. The owners were very welcoming and tried hard to find us a restaurant for dinner but it was Monday and most places were closed, so we walked uphill to the centre of town and eventually found somewhere suitable. The b&b is well situated for visiting Monreale as long as you don't mind climbing uphill or driving. Breakfast was very good.
The surrounding area was not ideal on a steep hill with some commercial buildings and a sewage works but once inside the gate of the b&b you are completely hidden from everything.

This B&B is located in closed proximity, about 10 minutes steep climb, to the world famous Duomo, and has parking on site, this is an unbeatable advantage. the hosts are really nice and welcoming, we were offered a fruit juice on arrival. the bathroom is beautiful and the Christian scenes suggestive.
The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows torturous, mosquitoes vicious, and coffee syrupy. admittedly an anti mosquito appliance was in the room, but not mentioned - this would have saved us a sleepless night, given that the walls are covered with the remnants of insects successfully eliminated by the more versatile and skilful guests who stayed in the room earlier.

The location, below the cathedral of Monreale. The hosts, Elvira and Santoro, were exceptional and attentive..
The breakfast was very good and complete and the site very clean.

just about everything, from the enormously friendly welcome we received from our hosts to the fresh figs included in our lovely breakfast.
the only difficulty was the rather steep climb up to the old town - not easy if you are elderly or unwell. a good workout for anyone else, especially in the Sicilian heat!

We opted to spend our last night and have dinner here after a weeklong whirlwind tour of N. Sicily. Our hosts prepared a lovely meal with freshly picked vegetables from their garden, perfectly cooked chicken and pasta, fresh melon, and wine. Next morning, the breakfast was equally delicious, particularly the croissants generously filled with lightly sweetened cream. We loved our room as well - very clean with good shower, comfy bed, and a balcony where we enjoyed listening to the birdsongs.

One the best B&B I've ever been to - you will be immersed into a traditional Italian country house. The room was huge and very comfortable and had a lovely view on the mountains.
The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable, and even offered to drop me at the bus station after my stay to go back to the city centre of Palermo.
Perhaps the best part of the stay was the breakfast , and the pistachio croissant :)
Minor improvement is that the speed of the internet could be better.

A wonderful breakfast (continental and italian), great room with big balcony and very friendly hosts. Parking on the premisses, also possible on the road in front of it. A nice 7 minute walk uphill to the center of Monreale. And great awareness of COVID measurements.
For our taste the room was somewhat over decorated. So we had to put away poor Josef, Mary and baby Jesus in a cupboard to have some space to be able to use the table. But that was not a problem for the hosts.

Great host. Beautiful place. Close to center of tourist area. Noisy on a Saturday night.

This place is a gem. The hosts speak French well and a little English, but it hardly mattered because they were so attentive and careful to ensure that we understood, any language could have been tried. We were welcomed into a beautiful house filled with antiques and lovely historical prints. We were offered a map of the town and helpful recommendation for dinner nearby. The room was very big, the bed comfortable and the breakfast plentiful. We had a rental car, which we could park inside their gate for security, but the place is also accessible by bus. In fact, it would make a comfy home base for visiting many sites in the area, even Palermo.
Like most Italian homes, the shower space is very narrow. Walking up the steep road to the cathedral, we were a little daunted by the many stray dogs.

Seniora Elwira and her family made our short stay in Monreale pleasant and comfortable. They met us with refreshing juice and homemade cookies. The villa is charming, full of historic pictures and little home things, surrounded by flowers and cactus garden. Rooms are clean and breakfast in the garden is amazing
