Great views from every room overlooking the rooftops of Rome. Many restaurants and shops steps away.

Stayed one night in Rome. This apartment was great. Top floor but had elevator. Everything you could need was in this apartment and the views were fantastic. Right outside are all kinds of shops. Next time I'm in Rome I'll stay here.

fantastic neighborhood. beautiful spacious Condo with an incredible view from rooftop patio. highly recommend.

We arrived at 9:00am on our check-in day, over 5 hours before we were to check-in. The host and the cleaning crew did everything they could to help us get checked in by 1:30pm. Communication was fabulous and we appreciated everything they did to accommodate our family.
The location of the apartment was fabulous with tons of restaraunts, cafes, and shops right outside the front door. We were able to walk to the coliseum (About 1 mile away) the Trevi Fountain and a bunch of other landmarks during our short 2 day visit.
The apartment was exactly as advertised and had 3 full bathrooms, an awesome roof top terrace and plenty of room for 4 adults.
We would definitely stay here again when coming back to Rome and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit the area.

This stay was in a vibrant, active neighborhood, where you can walk out your front door and eat and shop - but high enough above the street where you can sleep, or relax on the rooftop patio quietly, and enjoy a glass of wine.

This apartment had an amazing location. On one of the main streets in Tratevere with lots of restaurants, bars, and liveliness down below. There is a square just one block away that has live music/guitarist every night. It is a couple blocks from the bridge that crosses the river and a beautiful river walk with more restaurants as well. Easy to get to all the sites and locations from here as well.
The apartment was a little on the small side for a family of six. It would be perfect for a family of four or five. The fifth and sixth person need to sleep in a little hallway in the back or on the pull out on the sofa.
Another item to be aware of is the family room, kitchen and second bedroom all have roof line ceilings that go from about 6 feet angle down to 3 feet. My husband is 6 feet tall and unfortunately whacked his head on these shorter angled ceilings about 10 times while we were there. so just something to be aware of. But love the rooftop apartment because it was bright and sunny and you could see all the rooftops of Rome. So the angled roof line is just something that comes with the apartment.
Overall, would definitely recommend this apartment! Have fun! Ciao!

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was an amazing experience. The communication with the host was speedy from the start of the booking. She arranged a car to pick us up at the airport, gave us local recommendations and helped us with a situation where we dropped something off the patio. She was always quick to respond.
Place was beyond clean by the housekeeper Anna (who lives in the building). It’s a residential building in a fabulous location. Blocks upon blocks of restaurants, mostly limited by cars. Felt save the entire time and my teenage daughters LOVED it. Thank you for sharing your home and allowing us to make many memories.

This very adorable B&B was such a fun and great place to stay! It is in such a great location for my family of 6. What a wonderful experience. We were met by a lady that showed us around the place and gave us advise on the area. The place is exactly as it shows. Once you leave and go outside you are immersed in the Rome culture with restaurants, shops and yes, Gelato stands right there. RIght up the street is a plaza where they do entertainment and when your done with the day, you can just watch whatever act that has shown up. Can get a little noisy for a little while but it was such a fun environment. A place where taxi's are available is right up the road so very convenient for getting around. The first night there, we signed up for the cooking class near by and it was amazing and right up the street within maybe 20 min to walk to. We sat out on the patio every night and could see how pretty Rome was. Beds were very comfortable to sleep on. I highly suggest checking out this gem; well worth the money and our time!

The apartment was the perfect spot for our family trip to visit our son who was studying abroad. The neighborhood was so lively and the unending choices of amazing restaurants has us dreaming of returning to Trastevere! After long days of walking and sightseeing the apartment was the perfect place to rest and recharge. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace enjoying the vast views and sounds of Rome. The communication with our host was excellent and she even helped us organize transportation from the airport to the front door of the apartment on multiple days as we had family members arriving on separate days. Highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed a lot our stay in this appartment, very central location , the borough is very nice for a drink or an Italian dinner , we are a family of 7 and we could fit easily.

Noisy location, absolutely. Low ceilings, definitely. We still liked this place.Perfect location for exploring Rome. If you are tall, beware, you will hit your head as I did. Twice. My wife once and she’s 5’6”. Be warned.

My 81 year old mother, 17 year old daughter and I stayed at this lovely apartment with incredible views of Rome from every window. Beautifully updated with whites and neutral colors. We were very comfortable and felt very safe going in and out of the apartment.

I’m only writing the truth! I saying this because she told me that if I gave her a bad (honest) review, she would just say I was lying. We had an amazing two week vacation in Italy and used VRBO at each 4 destinations. All wonderful experiences until Rome. As we were walking up the street to find a condo, we felt very uneasy as the alley had graffiti walls and shady looking people. Once in the building, the elevator only would fit two people and two pieces of luggage. I rode up with the greeter and my husband and two grown kids carried the other luggage up six flights of stairs. AnnaMaria (the house greeter) and I talked about the area being safe and she said, “no, no, not safe especially at night.” Then she said, “none of Rome is safe.” 😳 As AnnaMarie is showing us around the condo we noticed how warm it was and two of the three AC units were not working. She spent 15 minutes trying to get one to stay on as it would cut off after 30 seconds, the other one we couldn’t get to turn on. During this time walking around my husband who is 6’2 hit his head twice on the low ceilings. She offered to fix the A/C units but obviously the ceiling couldn’t be fixed. Nor was I willing to risk or wait on the A/C units. Rome is already HOT! I did ask for a refund as her description of the condo said nothing about low ceilings that was a concussion risk to my tall family. She declined and said I was harassing her and a liar. Horrible experience - my first negative review ever written.

Everything was wonderful… location, accommodations, and our host was more than fantastic! We were able to walk everywhere, but we didn’t have to go far for anything we needed. The shops and restaurants near the property were fantastic. This was a girl’s trip, and we were able to relax and recharge after a day of site seeing, then step out the front door and be right near tons of wonderful bars and restaurants. It was perfect!

Very smooth check in. Comfortable beds and everything you need for a short stay. Location is fabulous. Walking distance to all sights. A busy and vibrant street with lots of restaurant and bar choices nearby. Host very helpful. We were a mixed group - teenager, 50’s and 80’s - everyone loved it.

This great property was as advertised and a wonderful base for spending the new year in Rome. The Trastevere area was incredibly busy (much busier than when I last visited seven years ago), as was Rome in general. There is a lot of noise at night from the streets below, but nothing that bothered anyone much or kept anyone awake (pack a pair of ear plugs). The views from the apartment are just amazing, and experiencing the fireworks going off everywhere around us on NYE was something none of us will ever forget. Rome is busy, and this apartment is right in the centre of things, but everywhere is walkable and six floors up is a nice place to sit back and take it all in. Communication with Rafaela was very good from start to finish.

It is also close to everything, we walked and walked and walked, our hostess was GREAT, and pending on every detail, we could cook for breakfast, and had a wonderful Christmas dinner in the apartment after doing grocery shopping at Campo di Fiori mercato! The views for the rooms and kitchen are beautiful, has a little place for laundry, we also used it, and a lot of coffee makers in every size. Next door a bread place, and 2 minutes walk a plastic Érica where we had fresh Corletti for breakfast almost everyday. Thank you for a dream holiday time in Rome! We will be back!

Fantastic location with tons of restaurants at your fingertips and the most amazing views!! Easy walking to major monuments and sites.
4.0 / 5.0
We stayed with our two adult children and there was plenty of room and bathrooms for all (4). The property has amazing views of the city! The only complaint is that we were coming from another location and had to adjust our check in which resulted in an additional 50 euro fee. The property manager and care taker were very accommodating but it would’ve been nice to have more flexibility and arrive when we liked without the additional charge. Rome is rather dirty and doesn’t feel as safe as we’d like, however this location is very safe in comparison but lots of people and noise from bars, but like others we just ran the AC to drown out the noise. We were able to walk to the Panthenon, Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum, all very memorable to see! We would definitely choose this place again if we came back but to be honest Rome is very dirty and not sure we will.

We wanted a property in Trastevere while visiting Rome for it's neighborhood feel and central location. This apartment was perfect. This was our daughters senior trip and we all had a great time. Saw all of the sights (all walkable) and relaxed as well. I would stay here again.

Quaint and charming apartment, location and views. Loved hearing the regular chimes of the nearby Trastevere church bells, and the hustle and bustle along the narrow but vibrant cobblestone streets and alleys below. Slanted top-floor ceilings mean tall folk need to take care moving around, but the romantic old-world views in every direction make it very worthwhile. Rafaella was an accessible, accommodating hostess who also helped to arrange excellent private car service for airport transfers and day-trip sightseeing. Location is both convenient and lively with lots of youthful pedestrian nightlife, but all of it good natured and as welcoming as the numerous outdoor trattorias, cafes and coffee shops. The heart of downtown, the Vatican and other historic sites are also an easy walk away. The secluded outdoor patio/terrace proved to be an excellent place to sip Prosecco and take in the neighborhood fireworks on New Year’s Eve. Probably not for those looking for a quiet retreat, but if - like us - you want to immerse yourself in a city and it’s culture, it hits the spot!

We love the Trastevere area and this apartment is right in the center. The place is very cute and super clean, with amazing views in all directions. We will definitely stay here again.

The view from the apartment is great, the availability of the owner really nice. For those who wish for a nice vacation within walking distance of Vatican, Rome Colliseum and ruins, and as well Trastavere is such a vibrant neighborhood. Wish we could stay longer.

Prior to covid we book this property - and paid full amount (over 3800 euro for an 8 ngt stay) this was scheduled for March 2020 - 5 days later!! we tried to cancel because covid was hitting world
Owner stated “no refund policy” and she
Moved our date forward 1 year - when we went to move it forward again because covid and worldwide travel band still in effect -she did move it yet wanted me to repay full amount again stating I had a “no refund policy” -
Lousy lousy business - Raffaella keeps your funds so be careful - she is good at this - don’t expect any flexibility or good will from this owner -

Very pleasant experience overall. Great Trastevre location. Apartment was spacious and well equipped with necessities. Bathrooms are modern. Lovely rooftop patio. Everything was clean and bright. Rafaella and June Ray are very helpful and speak great English. We would recommend this apartment for sure. It was one of our best Home Away apartments yet!

The apartment was spacious and well appointed, with the most beautiful views of rooftops.
The position is unbeatable, being in the midst of small bars and cafes and short walking distance to the centre of town.
The area is friendly and very picturesque. We loved every minute of our stay here.

This is the perfect location for anyone wanting to stay in the Trastevere neighborhood of Rome. It is literally 50 yards from the Piazza Trilussa and allows easy access out of neighborhood to other parts of Rome. The Vatican is one mile, Coliseum one mile, etc. The apartment itself is rather unique in that it is very spacious and clean, but be aware the ceilings are a bit low in spots. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the terrace is a great spot to wind down the day with a bottle of wine. This section of Rome is ALIVE with activity every night. There must be 100 restaurants within a 5 minute stroll along with shops and bars. Staying here truly allowed us to experience Rome at its finest. The best way to think about this area of Rome is that of a theme park. There is graffiti everywhere, but it is a part of Italian culture, which makes it look like a gritty area, but every morning the crews are out cleaning the streets getting ready for the new day. This was my second time to Rome with our first visit having lodging on the Via Veneto. That was a sterile visit compared to this one. This was real Rome....alive !!
Check in was a breeze. The apartment is on the top floor with an elevator taking you to a level where you still must walk up one flight of stairs. The building is very secure. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone and will stay here again on any future visits to Rome.

The Trastevere Roof was like having my own home - so comfortable to stay and hang out and relax yet so convenient with the taxi stand right around the corner when time is short and you need to be somewhere. Otherwise just a short walk over the river to the main tourist areas. The apartment was clean and modern and having 3 bathrooms made for quick exits in the morning. The terrace was awesome with a view of St. Peter's dome as well as the local flavor of the neighborhood - could never entertain the thought of staying elsewhere when in Rome.

Our family of 5 (kids aged 14-8) spent 2 wonderful weeks seeing Rome with this lovely apartment as our home base. The apartment, was clean, spacious, comfortable and well appointed with extra towels, bedding and linens. The terrace was large and very nice place to sit in the mornings and evenings, we even had dinner there one night. It was also a great place to dry our laundry - much faster than a machine dryer! Raffaella is a thoughtful, helpful and responsive hostess who arranged transportation to and from the airport, connected us with tour guides and offered suggestions on sights and restaurants.
The apartment is within a 15 - 20 minute stroll of every major site which made getting around very easy. Trastevere is a very lively part of the city and the bar next door to the apartment building sounded like the most popular spot in the neighborhood. With the windows closed it would have been no louder than any other city at night, but we had them open due to the summer heat.
We have many happy memories of our stay here, we will certainly visit Rome and this apartment again.

We stayed here for five nights with our four teenagers. The flat is gorgeous, with incredible, breathtaking views. Very convenient location too. The apartment is fairly well provisioned with ample towels, comfortable beds, a drying rack etc. The neighborhood is lively and fun, all night. Definitely not quiet. The flat has excellent windows, but trastevere is just busy! We had a major problem with the air conditioner (something went wrong with the pump and it made noise all night, even though it was off!). Rafaella made a big effort to fix it, eventually buying a temporary, mobile unit for the flat. If you are there for the summer, keep in mind that the room with the single bed is not air conditioned. Overall, we'd rent again in a second.

We traveled to Rome for a long weekend with our 4 young kids. This apartment was perfect. It's location could not be better, one block from the river and in the middle of the heart of Trastevere. Being on the top floor offers spectacular views as well as good insulation from the festive streets below in the evening. That said, you can still hear the bars downstairs - although muted - thanks to the double-paned glass. The management of the apartment were incredibly helpful from arranging transport, tour guides and reservations for dinners. The apartment is spotless, new, tasteful and comfortable. They even provided ironed sheets! Our kids loved it, as did we. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We absolutely LOVED this apartment!! It is beautiful, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a week in Rome.
The 3 bedroom/3 bath was perfect for our family of 5! We had SO much room!! We enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning and wine at night on the private terrace that has a beautiful view of St. Peter's. The manager did everything to make our stay comfortable including arranging transportation to/from the airport. We had a "small emergency" with the key and they were able to help us within minutes! Trastevere is the perfect place to stay in Rome! It is walking distance to all of the major sites to see and we loved returning every afternoon to find a fun place to eat right outside our door. There are quaint
restaurants and shops all outside this lovely apartment. We LOVED everything about this beautiful apartment and will definitely stay here again when we return to Rome. Thank you Raffaella for making our trip so perfect!!! XOXOXO
