Strategic location and friendly owner

Not convenient cause the toilet is only downstairs. The air of the aircond which needs to be shared with others totally can't flow into the room and it is super hot because I can't sleep well at night although there is a stand fan provided but the stand fan keeps making noise also. . Furthermore, the pressure of the shower head is very weak. I have to use the water scoop to fill the water from the tap for shower.

Good value for money. Friendly and accommodating owner.

Great central location. Worth what was paid for the stay.

AC is on a timer at night. It's fine if you go to bed late, but if you're an early sleeper you'll be quite warm while trying to get to sleep.

Great value for money. Lovely family!

Firstly Esther and Nicholas and their daughter gave us great recommendations locally to really experience the local food and culture. The beds were extremely comfortable and great value for money. Location is also great about 10 mins walk max from restaurants.

Ipoh is nice!

Family so helpful all of them. Young Daughter charming 👍

For me ok, but other guests might not like it. Room/bed is a madrass on the floor. and thin walls in between rooms. All that said I sleept so good there 👍

Superb

Great location, local night market around the corner and 10 minutes walk from the street art and old town areas. Esther was so helpful and friendly and kept in contact with us about check in and check out times to meet us. Accommodation was very clean and excellent value for money. We were around Ipoh for a few days so returned for a second night stay as we were so happy with our first experience.

Cheap but odd stay. Get what you pay for

Extremely friendly owners - Good location - Cheap - Fan in room

- The owners didn't work all the time, so their kids took care of our check-in. They must have been around 12 and 8 y/o. Child labour? Was quite late in the evening as well. Didn't feel good. - The rooms weren't really "rooms", they were more like stalls with sliding doors and walls that didn't reach the ceiling. Could hear the neighbours flip in their beds. - Our "room" really was the same size as the bed. Like no joke, could barely fit our bags. The bed was a mattres on the floor. - During our stay they started renovating the area we lived in, so everything had an insanely strong chemical smell. Didn't really feel good to sleep in that oudor, felt a bit toxic. Had to open the window, and instead have a problem with a noisy street outside.

The girl from the check in did a great job. She spoke good English although she was very very young.

For this price the accommodation is too expensive. We booked a double bed room and there was no real bed (just a uncomfortable mattress on the floor), no place for our luggage and it was not a room because the walls do not close. It felt like we shared our bed with all the people in the other “rooms”. We’ve heard every single sound they make during the night and it felt strange to talk to each other because other people could hear every word and we didn’t want to disturb them. We also saw a rat in the bathroom.

OK for a night

The location is good, the owners are very nice and the place is sparkling clean.

The private room wasn't as expected. It's just a seperate area on the first floor with thin dividers inbetween the other private rooms. Other than it being a seperate space, there is no real privacy. Also, the listed 'futon' is just a double mattress on the floor.

Friendly staff and good location. Near to memory lane, kfc, pizza and 99 speedmart

Pay rm232.30 for 2 nights comfort quadruple room with 2 queen bed. When arrive need to add on rm128.00 = rm360.30 for 1 night only and get 1 queen bed with double decker. Reason book stated 2 person but bring 4 children. I stay other hotel also stated 2 person so far no issue. Star residence klcc, KSL, & others. Now just confuse either charge per room or per person. If per person how much cost for per head.

great for Old Town sightseeing but bring own ear-plugs to soundproof

location wise, within Ipoh old town. aircon although 9m away is very cold and nice.

it’s on the main roadside! very noisy; vehicular and motorbike engine sounds till 2am. windows not soundproofed.

Environment and at the center of the Ipoh city.

The environment of the EDM space. I thought it would be like a normal guest house that I had previously experienced at other places, but the coziness made me feel different, and I liked this place much. Although the private room that I reserved is a bit smaller than expected, it doesn't ruin my good experience with EDM Space.

Can’t sleep well if got bad neighbours

Friendly staff, good location. Parking available.

People lived beside our room smoke at the stair place cause the whole area full with smoke smell.

Enjoyable stay with comfortable leisure space

Your gracious welcome made our stay comfortable. Your location is perfect because it is close to the Loken market and the Gerbang Malam night market, both of which can be reached on foot in a short amount of time.

Most likely, I need to wait for others to finish using the restroom before I can use it myself. However, I can live with that because I realize it only happens during rush hour. Perhaps you could make the room quieter by adding soundproofing materials.

comfortable stay in Ipoh

the beds were very comfortable!

the beds are partitioned off in one big room with AC in the larger room, not a bad thing just something to be prepared for during your stay! the bathroom is downstairs also.

Good price for the room

The place is clean and tidy. Good hospitality by the staff. Room was lovely and cool at night. Aircond was on and you’ve got the fan as well in your room. Located centre of Ipoh. Next to the viral restaurant-Ipoh Hainan Chicken Rice Shop
