Non tornerò, Trappola per turisti!

Posizione centralissima, perfetta per visitare comodamente Lucca

Avevo cercato una sistemazione last minute a Lucca per spezzare un lungo viaggio e approfittarne per visitare la città. Prenotazione senza possibilità di rimborso, ma dalle immagini e la descrizione mi piaceva . Fatta la prenotazione, aggiungo l’opzione culla (ho una bambina di 2 anni) e confermo. La struttura mi contatta con un lungo messaggio molto preciso indicando che l’aria condizionata era a pagamento, 15€ al giorno per 25/26 gradi o 25€/giorno per per 23/24 gradi… già mi comincia a puzzare di fregatura… Nel messaggio c’è anche la posizione e i parcheggi più vicini. Rispondo chiedendo se fosse possibile arrivare fino alla struttura per scaricare i bagagli… risposta “NO, consiglio un taxi”… ma dai?! Peccato che ho i bagagli di 2settimane, un passeggino e una bicicletta… vabbè organizzo la macchina per lasciare i bagagli dentro non in vista e mi farò 10 minuti di sfacchinata a piedi…tutte le strutture in città con ztl danno permessi temporanei.. loro no… Chiedo poi se c’è spazio per poter mettere una bici… risposta “le bici sono benvenute, basta pagare 10-30€”… alla faccia del benvenuto. Insomma ero già maldisposto prima di arrivare. Quasi da annullare e perdere i 90€. All’arrivo.. dopo aver camminato con bagagli e bici sotto la pioggia, il posto per la bici è dietro un bancone al protone di ingresso!! Cosa??? E i 10€ per cosa allora??? Chiedo di portarla in camera (è una bici da corsa da varie migliaia di €), la risposta è no… Me la fanno mettere, dopo molta insistenza sul pianerottolo del secondo piano… ero incazzato nero! In più, la culla, che ovviamente era a pagamento (15€ se ricordo bene) non era pronta perché non avevo confermato con un messaggio… ma come?! Ho selezionato l’opzione aggiuntiva… era nel primo messaggio!!! mi viene chiesto se la volevo o volevo far dormire la bambina nel lettone con noi… incazzato ancora per la bici e per non regalargli altri soldi non meritati, rispondo di No!

It was so wonderful I plan to come back one day with my wife.

Clean, beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located. Near the restaurants and the main piazzas.

Nothing! It really was perfect for visiting the walled city of Lucca.

Es el sitio más curioso en que nos hemos alojado. La ubicación genial. Nunca nos hemos alojado en un auténtico estudio fotográfico. Genial! 😜

Tutto delizioso, curato e ad un prezzo imbattibile

Lo spazio è quello di una dimora storica, ben arredata con mobili da antiquariato, dotata di tutti i comfort e i servizi. Letto comodissimo. La terrazza è davvero supercarina e l'accoglienza è al top con libero accesso ad acqua, caffè e tisane, nonostante non avessimo incluso la colazione.

Ein besonderer Ort von einem besonderen Menschen

Der Ort war aussergewöhnlich, die Lage mitten im Zentrum. Unser Zimmer hatte einen direkten Zugang zur großen Terrasse im ersten Stock. Wir haben die Möglichkeit, selber kochen zu können sehr genossen und genutzt. Das Bett war sehr bequem und gemütlich! Alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

The location is perfect, the room had a big terrace, the hosts were very helpful and nice. We got welcome drinks and breakfast. The kitchen had snacks and drinks that were at our disposal.

Superb

This was a wonderfully comfortable place to have as a base in Lucca. The room was spacious and able to be kept at a good temperature during heatwave Cerberus. The furniture and decoration was fun but comfortable. The shared kitchen was well equipped so there was the opportunity to eat in instead of going out.

A "unique" place with an owner who did not want to take a credit card payment.

Good points were the location, the nice terrace and the unique style.

I left two nights into a 4-night stay because of an unresolved billing issue. The owner made me feel bad about choosing the "pay at the hotel" option and wanted me to pay cash, which would involve multiple ATM withdrawals. The owner said that his card reader was broken and that I would have to pay an additional fee above what Booking quoted me if I paid by credit card. I contacted Booking to see if they could help. A day later Booking called and he told them the broken card reader "was temporary" and after that he again requested that I pay in cash and cancel my contract with Booking. I left after two nights, offering to pay cash for the two nights, which he turned down, threatening me that he would charge me for all kinds of extras, which he did, having access to my card number and without my consent. With his volatile reaction to Booking contacting him I began to feel very unsafe and uncomfortable. So if you DO stay here, I suggest you pay in advance and that you are very specific about not wanting extras. The premise offers to "unlock" A/C for 25 euros a day extra, which luckily I did not need. And breakfast didn't really exist beyond coffee pods, bread and cookies. In fact the one "extra" I chose was a tiny box of milk for 1 euro to put in my coffee. Things could have been cleaner as well.

The location was excellent. Some extra service from the host with no service charge and communication was very good. The facilities are great.

It's a comfortable place with a lovely terrace and quiet area. We hope to come back soon and enjoy the site, which they keep as a vintage and clean place

Very nice stay

Good location inside the city wall and the room was comfortable! Shared kitchen was big and there was everything we need!! Also the owner is so friendly and also gave me a pack of milk when I asked!

a disaster and i don’t want to pay this night !!!

we didn’t find the place because the number of the street was missing. there was no one although it was check-in time. the mentioned parking place turned out to be the public parking. we should have paid 25 euro in additional for the heating. the owner couldn’t be reached via phone to discuss the situation. we left and didn’t stay there!!!!

Both Giuseppe, the owner and our host Patrizia treated us as family upon our arrival and continued to meet our every needs throughout our visit. Our room was very clean and comfortable with an awesome shower. We enjoyed the shared kitchen with complimentary biscotti and coffee on the beautiful terrace every morning. The location was great close to all main attractions that Lucca has to offer.
