The rooms definitely are in need of being refreshed. The property is old and in need of an update.

Using the microwave flipped the breaker on eveything. Turned off tv fridge and microwave obviously. Bathroom was so small the door hit the toilet and was uncomfortable to use being so close to the wall

Railroad track was literally 20 ft from the room so was woken up a few times in the night when it sounded like a train was coming through the room

The hotel is in a convenient location. It has a Denny’s attached which is nice.
The room was not very clean. It seems like it needs an update on some fixtures and furniture ( the love seat was torn, old air conditioning unit, outdated bathroom)
Maybe some rooms are more updated but ours was not very good unfortunately. We usually love the Sandman hotels.
The front desk area seemed nice.

The staff was nice, and she allowed me to check into my room early. However, the room was dirty. I’m glad I brought my own bed sheets and towels. The previous guest was a smoker, and the room smelled strongly of smoke when I walked in. Additionally, their empty pack of sleeping pills was still on the bedside table, and all the sheets and towels provided were smelly. I was also unhappy with the cleanliness of the toilet and shower.

This is one of the most run down hotels we have ever stayed in. Located in an old industrial area the rooms are so small that for most of it only one person can walk by.
Wallpaper is marked and and damaged in many places. The matress is at least 20 years old and just collapses. It doesnt even fit the frame. Your matress cover sheet is too small and just comes out. Towels are old and threaded.
The fan for the bathroom sounds like a jet taking off and we basically had to not use it, which means also the light.
Simply save yourself $50 and upgrade to a Motel 6. Wont stay at a Sandman again.

Great service! I realized upon arriving that I'd booked two double beds and preferred two queen size. The very nice lady at reception (alas I didn't note her name) quickly switched us to a different room with a king size bed and sofabed, which actually worked perfectly for us. Two thumbs up!

Room was small but was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a bit pricey for what it was but there was a big event in town so I think all the hotels were inflated. I would stay here again.

The staff were really friendly and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was in Denny’s and it was nice. The staff there were friendly and the food was yummy!

The only item I would like to point out is that you provide more bath towels only 2 for 2 people is not enough.

So, our usual hotel picks were as scarce as a snowstorm in July, and this place was the last option for the August long weekend.
We rolled into a parking lot so packed it could double as a sardine can. A couple of very relaxed homeless guys were hanging out on the curb, probably auditioning for “Life in the Fast Lane.” It was hotter than a pizza oven, and our dogs had to dodge more garbage than an old-school arcade game. We kept an eye out for needles because, hey, it’s the kind of place where surprises are a step away.
Checking in was a breeze, but our key card had all the charm of a haunted house doorknob. The front desk? Let’s just say they didn’t break any speed records in customer service.
The bed was the highlight, like finding a diamond in a dumpster. The comforter was cozy, and the AC was so loud it could double as a jet engine, which was a blessing since the train tracks outside our window were like a live concert of clanging and whistling. The AC turned out to be a noisy knight in shining armor.
The room looked like a vintage motel museum exhibit, with a chair from the ’70s. The bathroom? Trying to fit in there was like a rhinoceros in a phone booth, with the toilet and shower in separate closets. I have no idea how anyone larger than a toothpick would manage.
Despite the quirks, we were grateful for the AC, a decent shower, and a bed that didn’t double as a medieval torture device after our camping and road trip adventures.

Stayed one night. We had a late checkin. Staff were great. Building seemed uneven/not level.

The foundational structure problems are evident when you walk in. Should this hotel be operating? Garbage pail collecting water in hallway and it’s not even raining

Dirty and old. Building looked like it was going to fall down.

A bit old fashioned but cosy and staff was pleasant

The room we stayed in was very clean. The front staff is friendly. The area around the property looks safe. No elevator to use, but everything else is great for the price.

Room was clean but bathroom door didn't close properly. AC didn't seem to work efficiently. Hallway was oldish. Parking area was atrocious. Need more parking and lighting. Slept good though so I guess that's for the best.

Great stay. Friendly employees😊

It’s an older property, but it’s clear that management has made many upgrades. We’d stay again if we’re ever in the area again. It’s got a lot of bang for the buck.
