Fun day out
4.0
It was clean but a bit old. Heater a bit noisy and took a long time to heat up the room. Tiny swimming pool. Breakfast could have been better, no snacks, fruits, yogurt.

It was a little deceiving . They showed a water park in the ads and I thought this was part of the hotel. The rooms were very dated but clean as far as we could tell. Okay place to stay if you are on a budget

Peaceful place for family stay
Sauna and pool were great
Breakfast was great but too early

Check-in was pleasant, over-all hotel was okay. The hotel is in a great location, has a nice pool/ bistro inspired area which was great for the team to hang out around. Unfortunately the hotel has not had many updates since the 80's. carpets are worn and stained, bathroom fixtures are worn and stained. This hotel could be a gem with some cosmetic upgrades

Water park plus accommodations for family of 4. Picked this motel for the free pkg, breakfast and price. Check-in was quick. We had a ground floor double queen room which had clean, comfy beds. TV had minimal channels, which was no bother as we were there for the waterpark. Walkable to many restaurants and attractions. Decent breakfast with eggs, sausages, breads, cereals, and juices.
Coffee and tea available all day. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

A mini fridge would ne nice to have in the room

It was overall a good weekend stay, hotel was in a central location and walking distance to Niagara falls

Experience we were at the hotel was great, only two things to point out, there was only few channel for TV, and the heater was incredibly loud.

Overall hotel condition fair and functional. Pros are free parking, location, & free breakfast. Cons a bit dated, assigned hotel room toilet overflew once & close to overflowing another time. Also, dinning area small & crowded during breakfast. Moreso, no microwave in rooms for a family trip.

I love staying here never had an issue till this time . I paid extra for a jacuzzi suite but on the same floor was many rioms full of unsupervised teens amd they were screaming well past 11pm , kicking doors and slaming doors . I called the front desk but the noise continued long after 11pm .

My overall stay wasn’t what we thought. For the price we paid for two nights for a family room is ridiculous. The rooms are super out dated, very dark, our room fridge didn’t work and when we stay we were given a family suit facing the main hallway with 3 little kids. It was super loud and we requested a family suit with a balcony facing the pool where our kids can walk around and they couldn’t accommodate us at all. the breakfast also has minimal selection. Our hotel room wasn’t even clean at all. I pulled the comforter, and there were water bottles around the bed. That’s how you know that the housekeeper didn’t clean the room properly when we checked in.

Room was very dusty on check in. Bedside table especially had a good layer of dust on it. Jacuzzi was nice though.

Amazing place, looked clean, but we had a smell like water in the room. The next morning they were drying a room near us with two big fans.

The lobby looks nice, and the breakfast and parking are adequate. But the room…..very old and in desperate need of renovation.

Older hotel. Ceiling water stains. Wallpaper needs replacing. Today standards after Covid room was as clean as they do now. Hair not ours in washroom. Old washroom. Still using Water Bic shower head from the 80's.. $195 Saturday nigh in October overpriced. Breakfast was nothing we would use, but maybe if you had kids. We skipped our second day breakfast as it was worth just grabbing something at Tim's. Room was on main road. Could hear traffic noises in room at night.
This is our 3rd hotel we stayed ay in the last 3 Octobers in Niagara. All different companies, but all seem the same. Need Reno's and updating.

The hotel is very old. The pictures on the web if probably from when it was built.

Feels and look suuuper old and dirty. My bed had bugs

Hotel is at a stone throwing distance from clifton hill. we never had to take the bus and always walked up to the falls. Infact, behind the falls is also not far. Lots of eating joints nearby. Although, hotel needs good renovation but there was no compromise on the other stuff. Staff was polite. I think the price is a bit high based on everything. For us, it was a nice stay I must stay cuz we spent our days mostly outside. We paid almost CAD 350 for 3 nights. Overall 4 stars for the stay. If we visit again, we will definitely consider staying here. Cheers!

The carpet on the room was damped and dirty. The hotel is dated and needs to be renovated. Location was great!

We enjoyed our stay , but it would have been nicer to have a fridge and microwave in the room and there was a coffee maker but no pot or cups

Great place to stay, was easy to get there by car. Lots of parking. Breakfast was good. We had a view of the fireworks at night.

I recently stayed at Clifton Hills] during my visit to Niagara Falls, and overall, it was a fair experience. The location is one of the hotel’s biggest strengths, as it’s within walking distance of the breathtaking Niagara Falls.
Pros:
- **Prime Location:** The hotel is conveniently located near both the falls and popular attractions like Clifton Hill. This made it easy to explore the area without needing much transportation.
Amenities: The hotel is very old and outdated. Though the rooms are spacious but TLC is required. The indoor pool was a nice touch for families and those wanting to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
Cleanliness and Comfort- My room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring.
- **Service:** The staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in smooth and helping with any questions I had during my stay.
THE PLACE IS OLD AND LIVED ITS LIFE, need a MAKEOVER!!

Hotel is pretty dirty. The mattress was absolutely horrible and the air conditioner doesn’t work.

Good service

Stayed for our toddler's birthday (this was a trip planned in 48 hrs because our Orlando trip fell through l).
Ali's customer service upon check in was exceptional after a long travel day, we were upgraded to the family room with a terrace, praise God.
Everything was decent, bed super comfy and clean. TV had limited channels (none for kids; in our room, tv in dining hall has kids programming). Bathroom was clean. Hotel was quiet come evening time which was amazing for us. Overall, it was a quick book and did what it was supposed to do while keeping us all (3) comfortable.
Transparency: On our 3rd morning we discovered ants on the terrace, to be honest it didn't bother us too much as it was our last full day. The next morning some (10-15) had made their way into our gift bags. I didn't let front desk know because I figured this is something they'd probably be aware of but it didn't impact our stay. My husband was also sneezing quite a bit any time we came back inside the room so there are definitely allergens of some sort floating around.

After reading all the bad reviews, i still decided to try my luck, but it turned out be an amazing experience, the location is very close to clifton Hill. Ali at the front desk was so helpful and kind.

Was ok for one night but would not stay any longer

The property needs some work. No hot water in 2 separate rooms. Third room fine. Close to many attractions.

We had a great time staying at the Clifton Victoria and seeing the sights at Niagara Falls and going to Fallsview waterpark
4.0
we had a nice stay in this hotel. very close to clifton and maybe 10 mins walk only to the falls.
8.0
The hotel has a lot of potential. It is perfectly located near the falls and shopping stores. Additionally, it is within walking distance and not as expensive as hotels on the busiest streets.
I would appreciate if the breakfast had more options, like fruits. However, I understand that this would be an additional cost for the hotel. Therefore, I suggest charging a small fee for parking to cover it. For us, it was very convenient to have parking included and a place to have breakfast before starting our day’s adventures
