I’ve stayed here numerous times. I always enjoy their hospitality

The towels were very thin and the pillows were flat. Bed and pillows made for a very uncomfortable night stay.

Fabulous! Clean, quiet, safe, very private and peaceful retreat. Check in super easy! Receptionist Pamela was wonderful, even helped me get a second floor room bc I am a woman traveling alone. I work as travel NP and stay in dozens of hotels a year and this was one of the best .

I question the authenticity of the 10/10 reviews that have been left. It’s a 6/10 to me. This is a remodeled Motel 6. The faded parking signs confirm it, as do the paper thin walls. You can hear the guests in the rooms on all sides. I give it a 6/10 because it’s like they did 60% of a reno. The furnishings are modern but the walls, bathroom, door, air conditioner are all dated. They should have put noise blocking insulation in when they renovated it. The floor…well, look at the pictures…very old and well used with planks spacing themselves apart. While they’ve made an effort to make it a good place, they should have gone the distance or done fewer rooms until financing allowed for a better job. It also has what looks like an owners suite with a patio swing and an odd looking storm door on the back side of the building. That’s pretty tacky for a chain motel.
For the price being charged, a continental breakfast should also be offered.

The stay was amazing the cleaners could do a little better found some things in the bed side tabkes because they were not checked prior

Was wonderful as always. Every time we are in Gadsden this is where we stay. Only complaint is no breakfast. Other then that it is a great stay!

The major issue was the bed frame. It was larger than the mattress so it stuck out and we constantly hit it. Also, the ends of two metal pieces of the frame did not fit so the sharp end was exposed.

We actually live within 10 minutes from the hotel but needed to book a room over the weekend for a home repair last minute. We needed a place that would accommodate our 2 animals and just make it through the weekend. So, our stay wasn’t for pleasure but rather necessity. That said, we were pleasantly surprised. The only staff we interacted with was upon check in at the front desk and he was extremely friendly. The room overall cleanliness was great; including the bed linens, the kitchenette area was tidy (some food had been left from the last stay in the fridge but after throwing that away it good. The vanity, sink and mirror (which was an extra large front and back lit mirror…great lighting) were shiny and no stray hair or residue were present. I ALWAYS bring my own cleaner from home when we travel and wipe down the entire bathroom area and after I did this, there was no dirt or grime on my rag so it was efficiently cleaned. The ONLY complaint would be the floors…when I started to wipe over them, my rag was covered in dirt unfortunately. I couldn’t go over it enough to get them to where I’d be comfortable walking barefoot, so bring some flip flops if that’s an issue for you as well! Overall, it was perfect for what we needed and cleaner than many other places we’ve stayed that cost more.

Room still had dirty towels in the bathroom hanging from the shower. Had urine all over the back of the toilet. Sheets & blankets were stained. The only thing I can say is the lady at the front desk was very nice & very apologetic and refunded our money.

We totally enjoyed our stay! It was nice and clean and the room actually looked like the picture on the website!
I only had one complaint, some people were booked in the room right next door to us. And the first night they kept us up ALL night by being loud and going in and out. I told the desk clerk Dave, and he said he was sorry and would take care of it. And he sure did! We actually got to sleep, and they checked out the next day! Thank goodness! 😂

Rough neighborhood. Homeless people staying in a room two doors down from us. Very friendly, but maybe intimidating for a family. Also drug use and possible prostitution going on. Rooms were filthy.

It was not the cleanest, but horrible. The AC was VERY loud and it felt musty in the room the whole time we were there.

The room was dated and a little run down. The air conditioner struggled a bit in the heat but eventually cooled the room to an enjoyable temperature. The road noise was noticible at times but subscided after nightfall.

I remember when this hotel was renovated. It's along way from that.

Check in was awful. I had booked and paid for a room in advance. When we got there the attendant kept trying to put us in a room with two beds. I showed my receipt. He put us in a downstairs room. We got everything unloaded and he called and said there was a problem with the room. We had to go back and then he put us in an upstairs room that didn’t have the amenities the other room had. I paid for a deluxe king. I would have left and went somewhere else had we not been so tired and it was 10PM.

The air conditioner sounded like a truck running through the room. Didn’t get much sleep

King bed. One side was fine, but the other was so worn out that I rolled right off. Two people would not have worked.

This is the 3rd time Ive stayed here. I come in town for the barbarian challenge. I like the red roof Inn because I can bring my dog and he can stay for free which is a bonus. The young gentleman that checked me in was very nice and friendly and gave us some recommendations on where to eat my only suggestion is to double check the rooms to make sure that there aren’t any dead bugs. We had a couple of dead roaches and some dead worms that we found in the room two in the bathroom and a couple by the door in the air conditioning unit while we were glad they were dead because that means you guys have been spraying for pest control and just was a little offputting that they were still in the room, but not enough for I wouldn’t stay there again and then there is a couple things that probably could use some minor fixes cosmetic things by the door jam at the bottom of the door. It was a little worn, but other than that everything was in pretty decent shape. I definitely hope it will stay here again next year when I come for barbarian challenge .

The accesible room was actually accessible. Roll in shower, chair in shower, hand held shower head, assist bars in shower and around toilet. Sink low enough to use. Bed very comfortable. Parked right outside room. Overall, very pleased with our stay.
