Me and a few friends participated in the Seagull Century and was merely looking for a cheap place to stay for the night. Understandably, the company just purchased property that looked like was sitting for a while and has begun very early renovations. The property should be open until renovated section was completed. Staff were friendly but since I am a man who has slept in the bush and woods while in the Army, I could sleep anywhere, but I would never have brought my wife and kids to the property which is not ready for prime time.

The room had a fusty smell and the funny part was that there was a Burger King box on top of the bed column and that showed the room was not properly cleaned.

Under construction, poor mattress and lobby renovations going on. The old American Best property……not worth the money spent. I immediately called to complain about facility and roaches in the room. Also provided dirty and grease stained towels and wash cloths

The place was in total disarray as it was being remodeled. The room was infested with roaches. Disgusting. Ask for manager to call no response. Seemed not to care

The property that I booked online did not look nothing like what it was when we got to the property. Even the name of the science signage was not properly displayed, and the place was under construction, and they had one building completely under construction with lighting and the building that they were running out had no safe lighting nor did they have Non-working ice machines and v ending. Totally false advertisement, and there was no area of breakfast Continental of any sort therefore I think this should be taken and removed from your website until it is fully up and running and looks like what was presented when booking

There were at least 10 large bugs in our room, mostly the bathroom but a few throughout the room which was unsettling. The beds were clean and comfortable. Only half the electrical outlets worked which made it difficult to get ready after the shower. The location is under construction so hopefully it’ll be better in the future.

Absolutely the worst hotel/motel i have stayed in. And i have, without exageration have stayed in over 300 hotels all around the world. Cockroches in the room, dirty floors, construction/work being done on the hotel building. Should just close the property down and open when they're done. But then again, wouldnt want to stay ever at this place.

This motel is really for those on a very tight budget. I was lured by the low price and somewhat misleading photos. However, my suspicions were confirmed when I arrived. The whole place is in pretty deplorable condition and their rooms are about as basic as you could possibly get! Needless to say, I will not be returning to the motel! And I have to remember, you get what you pay for!

It was terrible, so many little cocoroaches crawling, on the bed during night time when we slept. So many flies also inside the house. We tried to kill them and the more you killed, the more came in which we don't know where there were coming from.

When you open the door you had a room full of roaches they was all in the bed with you and we had to buy spray and we try to fine a mother hotel but they were all full and we wet so for from home we had no other choice but to stay we did not sleep in the bed we set up they were all in the bathtub and they say we could not get our money back we had to ask them to clean our room out of 5 night they clean it one time and did not give us any towels we had to ask they give us a can of spray and told us to spray it need a tent over it and some thing we’re not us I start to go to the dr but I was to far from home

Old, outdated, blood stain on the sheets, bed was practically on the floor. Door was not secure! We checked in at 9pm. Thought it was strange every light in the room was on. At 4am when I went to the restroom I found out why! COCKROACHES!!!!

Walked into room it’s was 90 degrees, carpet ripped and had a moldy smell. Bugs crawling around sink, sit o. Bed and a roach came out from under the sheets. Most dirty disgusting hotel I have ever seen. We did not stay at this hotel because of all of this. Hotel was under construction and not made aware. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Lots of remodeling going on. Apparently, work is so noisy that the bugs all migrated to room. Okay, not all, but enough for to not leve anything on the floor (as if that would make any difference).
TV worked, shower worked, comfy mattress, night and morning staff both very friendly.

The 2 rooms had roaches everywhere, i asked for a change of rooms and the manager was not helpful. We had to buy our own roach and bug spray, clorox and there were still coming out when we left. I lost my money but it was better for the healrh of myvfamily.

I didn’t like ANYTHING!
My family & I decided to stay here for one night after leaving OC, so I booked through Expedia. Expedia only showed good reviews which I am now sure are FAKE! Wish we would have read the google reviews first. When we pulled into the parking lot I was instantly uncomfortable! My fiancé tried to reassure me that it was late and it was for one night. We should have listened to MY GUT! The whole entire place was sketchy. The lobby is dirty. There’s open rooms with junk tossed around as you walk to your room. When we arrived to our room we immediately knew we were NOT staying there. We seen about 10 roaches, 20 flies, dirty sheets, & stained curtains. Let’s not forget that something bit my 4 year old son seconds into standing in that room. We were there for no more than 20 mins before going to the lobby to request a refund, they refused. They told us to contact the manager on Monday morning but based off the reviews it seems like we won’t be getting that refund. We will be taking legal action. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! THEY ARE SCAMMERS! I wouldn’t be surprised if some Human Trafficking was going on there because it was VERY SKETCHY & they seemed very sneaky!

I would not recommend that motel to a devil. It should be a part of the city dump site. The owners doesn't about fixing the problems. All they care about is money. The best thing about staying there is that cleaning lady who was a very nice person. When the other guests smoke in their room, I had smell it in my room because there's hole under the doors and in the walls. Every day you have to beg for clean linens. This is a first for me and it wouldn't happen again.
