Nothing to like about this property. Salisbury homecoming was this weekend. There were loud obnoxious people that kept my family awake and fearful all evening. They were letting car fills of people through the gate. Smoking, drinking and even having sex in their cars in the parking lot. I should be reimbursed my money 100%. I didn’t stay the second night.
Location was sketchy. Parking lot is gated, have to get out of the car to scan keycard in order to open gate. Doors to your room open to the outside. No updates have been done for a while, main lobby is cold and dirty. Rooms are the same.

I made reservations for my family 4 rooms and spent nearly 1000 - my adult children were given a hard time about checking in despite the fact that I spoke with a manager who took all their names months in advance and said there would be no problem for them checking in individually - since we were all traveling separately and meeting there. Then they were all charged 150 twice as a “deposit” . Breakfast was not ready at 7 - so we all left without. Our room had no phone and the toilet barely flushed - the floors were not clean

Not the total expectation of a Best Western Hotel. It felt more like a facelift on a Motel. I almost left for another place for a one nite stay.
The room #124, had a dull electrical hum. The room was strait from car to a locked room. Though room was changed from 2nd, since no elevator. TV could only get one channel, plus sound was a level 12 in volume. Smell was initially bleach. Door to bathroom barely cleared toilet.

The bathroom toilet was constantly leaking on the floor & you had to wear shoes walking around. The floors were gross . Feet & socks turned black. There was constant banging because of construction.

Under renovation, front desk services are very poor. Mamager is not very friendly at all. Customer service skills were really lacking.

Proximity to the tournament my son was playing in. That's really it.
First, the front desk attendant was rude when we arrived.
The gate to get in would not work so I had to get out of the car and push the help button each time I came in,
The room was small and smelled "wet". I had to wipe everything down and buy air fresher.
Paper thin walls. We could hear all conversations, alarms, tv etc
The tv color looked like something from the early 2000s
The hotel looked like a prison complex.
The cooked portion of the breakfast was inedible.

There wasn’t anything I liked about the location. The parking lot was gated. If my car has to be in a locked area then I must be in the wrong part of town.
The complimentary breakfast area was under construction so there was only grab bags, which wasn’t what the amenities stated. I didn’t like the gated area, but if they have problems with car theft I am glad for the gate. I was looking for a “hotel”, not a motel. I would have never stayed there if I we’re traveling alone.

It was affordable
Hotel made us pay 1st night up front instead of paying upon arrival. Pullout sofa had no sheets and when my wife asked about them, they told her that she could go look through the laundry room. Breakfast bar was pretty crappy. Coffee and juice machine didn't work. They were rude to other customers, one had a cane and didn't walk up the steps and they had no elevator. She asked for a dust floor and the hotel refused to accommodate.
