Friendly, amazing staff. 3 min walk to HBF station so it's really practical, recommended.

We stayed here while in Munich for Oktoberfest and just loved it. The rooms are no frills, but everywhere in the hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff here were all excellent. They were so friendly and helpful. We paid for the breakfast buffet and were really glad that we did. The food was very good and the selection was excellent. The ladies in the dining room were super attentive and did such an amazing job. The hotel itself was just a short walk to the train station and walkable to Oktoberfest and several Munich attractions. We recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!

Our stay was excellent. Anton and staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is also within walking distance of many great attractions like Oktoberfest and Marienplatz. We will definitely be back!

Loved this cozy little hotel. The guy at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. He made us feel very welcome. The room and bathroom, although very small, were very clean. The hotel was very quiet even though it was Oktoberfest. We never heard anyone else in the hotel. Breakfast was served in a charming dining room and had everything you could want. Best of all a hot pot in the room to make your first cup of coffee! Convenient location to Oktoberfest and old town.

Anton & Uli are super nice & helpful. The area feels safe & is less than a mile from Marienplatz. Definitely worth it for the price.

Very nice stay besides most hotel facilities being closed and front desk not being 24/7.

Great helpful caring personal

Great trip to beautiful country.

Better than expected - bed was very comfortable, good double-glazing kept the room quiet (there is also a rear annexe away from the street). Street a lot quieter than others around the main rail station. Helpful staff. Due to Covid/staffing issues there was no breakfast available and the reception desk is unstaffed during the middle of the day.
Priced very well - Munich can be expensive, especially when trade fairs are on.

Very much appreciated someone meeting me at 2300hrs even though the desk isn't 24/7. An excellent short term stay 1.5 blocks from the main Munich rail line station. Inside, small , well appointed room with small refrigerator , two twin beds pushed together ( no queen beds in 90% of European hotels! ) Great water pressure & hot water in the small but functional shower

Great Hotel in a great location. Minutes walk to the train station. We paid for the breakfast which turned out to be a great spread.

but worth it

A very friendly, quiet & clean hotel, 2minutes walk from Munich Main Station (railway, MTR, tram, bus & cabby services) , some restaurants within & around the Main Station & 2 supermarkets just around the block. Location is highly recommended , I wouldn’t book for just the breakfast service😂

Great location, very nice family room for three (set up like a suite for more privacy), friendly staff. An unpretentious and pleasant hotel where we would happily stay again.

Good, safe location

Great location very close to Hbh which makes getting anywhere in the fine city of Munich extremely easy whether using S or U bahn, tram, or bus. Great front desk crew 24/7/365. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is a real treat. I highly recommend this place your next trip to Munich.

hotel is well situated to get to the centre and a very short walk to central station where the airport train arrives. Hotel staff very friendly. Rooms clean though a little dated (I believe some may have been refurbished) . Perfect if you need a good breakfast and you then plan to spend the day sightseeing. Very good Italian restaurant nearby and traditional German restautants.

We could not find any faults with the service, staff, food, our room or the hotel in general. All good.

Not much to rave about. We had superior room, which was not big, but I guess by European standards it was ok. We were told it was recently renovated, so it was clean and nice. The feeling is that it was renovated on the budget. The rate we paid was extremely high, but I guess it was due to Octoberfest timing. Location is good: walk to historical center, it took us 15-20 min to walk to Octoberfest location, and it is very close to main train station. Parking is outdoor in the back courtyard.

Great hotel right next to the main train center. Not too far of a walk to main sites and easily ccessible by Public transit. Quiet neighborhood despite being so close to the action.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was really great, a nice mix of cold and hot selections, traditional German breakfast foods, cheese, cold meats, breads yogurt and fruit. A great way to start the day! Our room was great and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect, very central and easy for walking the city or catching public transport.

Good location easy to to around close to the central train station. Rooms was very small for a double room and bed was not very comfortable. Very friendly helpful staff.
4.0
The staff were not the most friendly. The air conditioning didn’t work well even though we had it set at its coolest setting it was still constantly warm in the room. The WiFi worked about half the time. The breakfast was just okay. The beds were worn out.

Good location near Central station, eateries and walking distance to MarienPlatz.

Hotel is aprox 5 mins from main railway station. Room comfort was good and the staff are always happy to help

You have to pay for Internet & cable TV. I don't care about the latter, but paying for the former means you can only use one device at a time; unnecessarily cheap and makes it difficult to do trip planning.

Alfa Hotel has a good location for walking to museums and Marienplatz. It is close to the train station, which makes transportation easy. The hotel is very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Excellant stay, fab room - just refurbished, very comfortable indeed. Clean & refreshingly decorated. Great location easy access with secure parking which was a must for us. Breakfast was excellent but very busy, when some food items ran out it was a long wait before more was available if at all.
Would definatley stay again.
