Very noisy in hallways late at night. Nobody around when checking in.

We booked in hotels.com. Got in late. The site says pet friendly. We came in with our dog. Next morning at check out, the Supervisor and office manager stated that we didn’t disclose we had a dog. I replied that when we checked in we had the dog. Manager said that the woman last night said “she told you that your room wasn’t pet friendly” which she did not. I could even see her note to the morning staff that said “I believe she has a dog.” She should have said something or spoken up about it, but didn’t. The website stated it was pet friendly. Office manager then tried explaining that the room in self has to say pet friendly or something. Then said they’d charge us $25 instead of $50. Then the supervisor went ahead and ran our card for $50 instead. She said “so I charged you for $52” I replied, “not the $25 the manager just said?” Then she went and confirmed with the manager and said “sorry, I wasn’t listening” then refunded everything.
Anyways, the whole check out process was accusatory and a hassle when the stay was originally pretty great. Bummer it ended on such a negative note.

We had a great stay here. The staff we friendly and the room was clean! We will definitely stay here again for a weekend get away

I arrived 45 minutes before check-in time but the front clerk didn't have a problem with giving me my room early. You don't usually find this level of common sense in most hotels. I mean, if the room is ready why do other hotels want to charge you for an early check-in?? I appreciated it as I was tired, hungry, and just needed to relax. I was very appreciative of this gesture.
Next, after settling into my room and while I was getting prepared to go over to the White Spot that is connected to the Clarion (you get 10% as a hotel patron) I get a phone call from the front desk asking if everything was okay and if I needed anything!! That was unprecedented. I have stayed in nice hotels around the world and had never received a call like that. Very impressive.
For the money that I paid through a 3-party company (Expedia) I have to say that I got more than my money's worth. It was clean, quiet, filled with a microwave, fridge, Keurig coffeemaker and 4 samples of coffee. The only thing missing was actual cream for the coffee but you can get that easily around the corner at the CO-OP Food Store.
The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, I got to use the hot tub, there are two elevators in this hotel; and, if you don't feel like dragging your laptop around, you can use one in their little office centre on the 4th floor.
I will definitely book at the Clarion if I ever need to return to Abbotsford.

It was a nice hotel. Nothing special but clean, relatively quiet and just what we wanted. There banquet room was on the 4 th floor as were we. It was a bit noisy in the early evening but quieted down before we went to bed.
4.2
Nothing to complain about the staff but the hotel itself is super noisy. Not just the highway but also from within.
In the hall, the pop machine, dogs barking. Won’t be my choice again.

Excellent location in Abbotsford , easy parking, helpful staff and comfortable rooms!
4.2
The stay was okay, but there was a fan or motor that would come on and off during the night. The unit could have been cleaned a little better.
4.2
Overall we had a good stay. Staff was friendly and price was good however if you stay on the Hwy side it's noisy all night. I was lucky to get 3 hours sleep. Also the shower was nice however the shower head is too low causing me to duck my head. 25% off at the attached white spot was a bonus for breakfast.
4.2
Good location, white spot shuts early
4.2
Terrible security, they do not have cameras on every floor and our bags were stolen. Didn’t seem even checked the cameras they had
4.2
Good value

Was a little noisy from traffic, noisy AC. The hotel was clean and convenient for travelling. With a restaurant next to the hotel.7

Our kids had a blast in the pool and it was so close to castle fun park for some fun for them :) we will definitely be staying again!
4.2
Overall, it was a decently clean place to stay. There is a White Spot attached, which was convenient for feeding our 2 kids. There is no room service, but you can easily pick up an order.
The parking is quite limited... there is an extra lot, but it is quite far from the entrance.

Clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and nice sheets. Room had a fridge and coffee maker. Easy to find, just a few minutes off of Hwy 1. Lots of coffee shops, restaurants, food with a few minutes drive of the hotel. Good value. Easy to park and parking was free. Would stay here again.

i’m 18 and my parents booked this hotel for me but i didn’t have a cc. The receptionist was very VERY polite and nice and helped me figure it out in a timely manner!! wish i got her name but she made a very stressful 10 minutes easy and manageable. Thank you

Safe place and very peacefull atmosphere

Our room was facing TransCanada Hwy 1. I was woken up at 5:30-6:00 with traffic noise. Windows on freeway side need to be better sound proof. I checked to see if window was open and it wasn't. Also, I thought rate quoted on line was Canadian price and when checked in, the rate was higher. Nice hotel but would look elsewhere for quieter/ nicer hotel for price I paid
4.2
Friendly and courteous staff

Everything was good but you should update your toilets…put in higher ones…too low for most people

Nice place to stay in Abbotsford. Great value hotel. Friendly staff, comfy bed, they even tied up your room during the day. Can't go wrong for the price they charge. Would stay again for sure.
4.2
Lady at check in counter was super friendly. Easy walk to groceries and liquor store. Also quick walk to play Castle games. And Whitespot attached is most convenient. Definitely stay here again.
4.2
Took forever (a week, to be exact) to locate my missing item, even though I called the same day before next check-in, and then the day after. Otherwise a nice hotel with convenient location.
4.2
Awesome stay very comfortable
4.2
I was impressed how well the rooms facing the highway were sound insulated!
Having a good White Spot restaurant next door and being given a voucher towards breakfast was another pleasant surprise.
4.2
It’s a great stop before heading into Vancouver or elsewhere in BC.
4.2
poor condition , mold on the windows , smelled like someone’s bad cologne in the room
4.2
A little worn around the edges

Amazingly we didnt find it noisy even though its right on the highway. Short drive to the ferry from there. Castle fun park right nextdoor is a bonus for families
