For having 6 people there was only 1 roll of toilet paper which we used up before the end of our stay. We looked around for more but couldn’t find any. Not a big deal but it would be nice if there were extras incase

Great stopover

Spoilt for space, as we were just a couple. Well equipped and furnished. Super comfortable king size bed and crisp linen. Lovely host - Oscar.

Very comfortable inn

After crossing the border from the united states, the inn was very nice for us to stay for one night. The room is spacious and clean, and is equipped with every kitchen item.

Pleasant

1. Easy to find 2. Two bedrooms 3. Pet friendly ( thank you!!!!) 4. Not on a highway 5. Comfy beds and nice linens/ towels 6. Electronic lock is convenient 7. Fan in bedroom

1. Not possible to sleep with windows open for ventilation as there are no screens on any of them!? 2. Some helpful things to add would be: squeegee for the shower, two clean kitchen towels and two clean kitchen rags at the start of the stay, basic cleaning chemicals and a rag ( for the tub, toilet, kitchen), one reading light or lamp in the main room , and a night light. 3. Kitchen Sinks had no plugs. 4. There is a dishwasher but no detergent: it is more reassuring if you know your dishes have probably been through a dishwasher cycle before you use them. Guests can load it up before leaving and save you a step. 5. We never figured out how to use the tv. It was also unplugged. 6. This was probably an oversight, but we started our stay with dirty kitchen towel and cloth in the suite, not a clean set. We brought our own paper towel in. 7. $50 per night extra for a dog is a bit steep!

Good value for the money, great location, lots of room.

we did not use the breakfast option so can't rate on this one.

Some areas were quite dirty-the baseboards in the bathroom for example. Both the toilet paper holder and the towel holder were broken. And there were no straight sheets in the master and the comforter was a bit scratchy.

Will definitely consider staying here again.

Oscar was quick and polite about getting us items that were missing (microwave) or fresh items (more towels and extra blankets). We were surprised with fresh garden cucumbers and delicious Turkish coffee! Great neighborhood. Easy access to town and main highways.

I was nervous about the glass table breaking - having so many kids with us. Outdoor seating would have been lovely.

Great Host/Property

Amazing place and even better hospitality!! Oscar ensured that my family and I were extremely comfortable. The place was very clean and the beds were one of the most comfortable we have ever experienced!! Would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Abbostford or Vancouver.

The beds were extremely comfortable, even the pullout. The host and hostess went above and beyond to make sure our stay was an excellent one

If a large group (5 ) is using the suite more than 1 roll of TP is needed. The outside motion detector light might be better if adjusted to go on when you are about to decend the stairs, not when 1/2 way down them.

Outside of the property was derelect Suite needs a deep clean Owners’ living space directly above rental living area so every step loud $50 a night for a dog more expensive than most 4&5 star hotels

the place could go from “ok” to good with a little more care put into it

owner was friendly

definitely could have been cleaner! inside and outside the property.king bed and 1 queen bed were very firm ( to firm) 1 queen bed was ok! was cold when we arrived ( owner dropped off a portable oil heater to help warm it up) another member came along for the trip so had to pay another 50.00 on top of the fee already paid to booking .com only enough towels for the 5ppl not 6 ! also owner had to bring down extra bedding! the futon would be hard pressed to fit two ppl comfortably and it looks dirty a bit or a wrestling match to get it into a bed …definitely not a bad place to stay just wasn’t all that I expected either ! the owner was very nice !

What a wonderful stay! So very very comfortable. I especially loved the beds, the quality of the mattress, the bed linen made me purr. Everything about it is superb. Same with everything throughout the suite.

Could possibly do with a bigger heater in the living room/dining area. But I also know that putting on an extra sweater and socks goes a long way towards less energy use, so it's only a very minor thing.

The reception from both hosts was authentic and gracious. They were most accommodating to every need. The home's design is beautiful and was custom-made for their guests. We were given free breakfast and dinner meals when we accommodated a change of room and that made all the difference in our stay as we were then able to get to know the hosts and their family and helpers. It felt like home! We also had our pet and we could easily care for him and enjoyed his interactions with their family, so he felt welcome as well.

They will be our first-choice next time we visit the area.
