It was ok we asked for an accessible room with twin beds which wasn't a problem but in the middle of the night my wife said swap me beds I'm itching like hell and the bedside like light didn't work.

Arrival, room cold (no heating on when it was 0 degrees outside), smelled strongly of chemicals lacking towel. Told reception, who just stared blankly back. Morning, no TV. Reception offered to move us to another room, but that smelled too, plus second bed was not made. Day 2 no hot water. It was clear that there was a wider issue with the hotel as at reception others were complaining about missed wake up calls and no hot water.

Ideally situated for our needs, however this hotel really is looking tired. Badly marked carpets in corridors, yellow coloured flooring in bathroom, not the best.

Enjoyed our stay at the Ibis, set in a quiet location near the canal, the hotel was clean, spacious room, have previously stayed here and will return in the future

As far as budget hotels go I would rate this as good all round. Everywhere that I could see was clean and tidy, room was of a good size, bed was comfy, bathroom spotless and shower worked a treat, staff were good, food choice very limited but toasty, curry and chips that we had was really well cooked, tasted really nice. If you want all the posh stuff don"t bother booking but if you want a down to earth budget hotel then i would definitely recommended. Would i stay again?? yes definitely

Very clean ideal for what was needed good price wouldn’t stay again as lights outside too bright lit room up all night

Fine basic room. Plenty of storage. Comfy bed. Good bathroom.
Carpet dirty and bedroom area could do with a deep clean, particularly round the edges.
4.0
Mattress sinking in centre and out of shape
5.0
Courteous staff, comfy room and ample breakfast

The hotel is worn, chairs etc need recovering or replacing. Tables in the dining room, bar area were never cleaned off. Bedrooms lacked cleaning properly especially corners. Carpets need cleaning. One towel is a bit cheap!
Staff are lovely, helpful and accommodating. There were no areas in the hotel that actually felt clean!

Good standard of accommodation with ample free parking and walking distance to Salts Mill.
Decent breakfast with fresh fruit and good variety of bread.
Would use it again.

Dirty hotel. Cobwebs. Worn and stained carpet

Staff at check in and check out were really nice. Free car park. Room was very basic and could use updating. Bed was more comfortable than expected considering the rest of the room.

Lovely receptionist. Simple hotel but clean

Shipley town itself very run down & has nothing going for it but picked the Ibis here as we wanted to tour the area & visit Salts Mill.
This Ibis is very tired & in style a throwback from the 1980’s Menu offered very limited & basic eg sausage & mash & fish & chips all ping food I’m afraid.
Hungry Horse at the side of this Ibis again in need of refurbishment dirty & again ping food which when we stayed the kitchen was out of order 2 days.
The one good thing for the Ibis is it was at the side of the canal & lovely walks along to Saltaire & Bingley ( nice village feel that was lacking in Shipley)

Easy to find and check-in. Good location. Clean room with almost everything i needed - some welcome biscuits would have made it perfect. Good shower and plenty of towels and soaps. It was a bit noisy about 10pm when i think they were emptying the bins outside my window but it was quiet the rest of the night.

A good budget hotel. Rooms could do with a freshen up, looking a bit tired and no a/c. However I Would not hesitate to book again.

This used to be my favourite hotel and I have stayed here many times in the past, but not for a couple of years. I noticed a significant deterioration in the condition of the hotel. Although the room had been newly decorated the carpets, both there and in the corridors, looked warn and stained. There were no pictures in the room and things just looked a bit tatty. I hope this was because a refurb was in the process of being done.

The staff were really friendly, breakfast was really nice the only thing i didn't really like was the bed in my room was really hard

Good room, clean, walk in shower. Staff were helpful.
Terrible breakfast.

Breakfast tables weren't clean and kitchen staff were moody. The lift is so old and slow and creaky and dirty it was quite scary, so I took the stairs.

Better signage to find hotel on foot would be helpful.
Apart from that, all was fine. Basic but ok for the price. Seemed clean and we slept well. Walls very thin though.

Unfortunately my motorcycle was stolen from the hotel carpark. Obviously not good but the management of the hotel didn't enquire over our wellbeing or whether there was anything they could do to help. The day receptionist did try her best by offering coffee and biscuits. Poor management style.

Room was disgusting, loads of stains on the carpet and various pieces of furniture. Dust and mould throughout the bathroom. We left without spending the night and found somewhere else to stay.
We will not be returning to this place!

The hotel carpets are grubby in the corridors and the rooms. The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, a wide selection of hot and cold food i will stay here again as its convenient. . The shower was clean and very good water pressure.

It’s an Ibis- allows dogs so basic. A bit tired but clean.
