This hotel is real great in fantastic grounds the staff are polite and helpful. Stayed here a few time and will return.
4.3
Nice place, breakfast basic buffet style and quite cold, no tomatoes or mushrooms.
Hard water area so kettle completely furred up & water was very high mineral content so hot drinks in the room were out as tasted disgusting.
Bathroom needed refurb - riser broken off shower - shower head up so high husband had to get it down for me!

We enjoyed out stay everything was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful

Very good hotel on golf course.
Nice breakfast and bar.
Helpful and friendly staff.
4.3
The stay went very well. We enjoyed the hotel. The room was large enough and had a very comfortable bed. The shower was OK, but it struggled to maintain a constant hot water supply. Finally, there aren't fans or AC room controls. This is a bit substandard for my preference for environmental controls for a hotel room.
4.3
What a great surprise this hotel was! After many poor visits to other hotels nearer Dublin, this was a lovely and well run hotel. We very much looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
4.3
Great surrounding in a great hotel . Rooms were spacious right on the golf course . Staff brilliant.
4.3
Excellent and exceptional facilities, staff and food. A little off the beaten track but a great golf course. The reason have not made this a 5 star review is that the noise from doors banging from the adjoining room were terrible, especially while cleaning was underway. I reported the issue on checkout and hope steps can be taken to reduce or eliminate the issue.

This was a great place to stay. Only issue was that the water wasn't drinkable. They had notes in the room and made sure there was plenty of still water for you to use and drink. I'm sure this was a temporary thing but the notice didn't say.

Excellent staff.

Beautiful setting on a golf course and lake.

Staff were lovely. Room & hotel warm & comfortable, except for bathroom. Toilet was extremely low and very uncomfortable! Food in bar was delicious. Cooked breakfast also good, but ran out of several buffet items by 9.30.
4.3
The hotel staff could not have been better nut my room had some sprt of compressor kicking in so i had trouble sleeping (room 203)
4.3
Beautiful driveway entrance to hotel which set the scene for our couple of days away. Used a tesco voucher which there were no issues with. Reception staff and all staff friendly. Lovely modern big room with balcony and big shower. Rituals soaps etc which was a treat. Ate both nights in bar. Food was good. Breakfast good choices. I had smoked salmon. Coffee good. Woukd stay again.

Wonderful! One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. Sparkling clean throughout, huge room with all modern comforts, lovely bar with quality meals and a brilliant cooked breakfast buffet.

We had a lovely stay at Tulfarris Hotel. The food was excellent, room lovely and clean and great selection of channels and options for streaming.
One minor bug bearer was the over attentiveness at dinner time woth resfaurant staff asking every few minutes if everything was ok. Excellent chef though and food was perfect

From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted with friendly faces. From the reception staff to the bar staff to the attentive restaurant manager and servers. Food was excellent, restaurant standard. Derek the manager couldn’t help us enough, and fitted us into a full restaurant, and both he and his staff were very knowledgeable with regards to the food and wine. All and all a lovely stay, a beautiful hotel, well maintained and beautiful views all around. It’s a long time since I’ve been able to give a flawless critique on a hotel but am only to happy to give one here. Thank you Tulfarris, your hotel and especially your staff are a credit to you.

Very nice hotel nestled in the countryside along Blessington Lakes. The hotel is elegant and well kept, as are the grounds surrounding it. Much attention is paid to detail and aesthetic appeal. We certainly enjoyed our 4 day stay and felt comfortable and relaxed most of the time. In spite of a few minor disappintments, we will definitely stay here again in the near future.
Pros:
* Extremely friednly and accomodating staff
* Elegant atmosphere with an Old World charm
* Breakfast area: large selection of great food, and a stunning view from the breakfast dining area (probably the best part of our stay)
* Spacious rooms
Cons:
* Very thin walls, you hear everything in the hallway and the rooms next to you. Luckily, most guests here are the quiet types. One evening we had a loud party next to us, heard everything, but as soon as we alerted the front desk they were quick to quiet things down.
* Hotel has a problem with the water pressure. Several of our showers were taken under barely trickling water. Not fun.
* The room sevice wasn't the best; our shower wasn't clean on arrival (old hairs all over the place, and dirty), beds sloppily made (had a changed pillow case with dark stains on it), they only half replenished the tea and coffee service, etc.
None the less, the pros certainly outweighed the cons ;o)

4.3
Hotel was very quiet but rooms were nice and dinner in bar was lovely as was breakfast selection, getting refurbished by the looks of it currently, staff were very nice too
4.3
Service was very perfunctory from check in to check out. Hard to get attention of staff at breakfast, and then cleared table when at buffet so had to scrounge up new cutlery. Room was nice, bed was comfortable, but not cleaned very well (wrapper on floor from perhaps a cigarette box, toilet not scrubbed). Overall, an ok stay.
