Beautiful place and nice staff

Beautiful place, staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant next door serve delicious food. Location is excellent, very close to Glendalough Monistic site. If I ever come to the area again, I’ll stay here for longer time.

A perfect stay in a perfect location, Laragh is better than Glendalogh itself

The lady at the reception is kind and helpful in all ways. The kitchen was completely equiped.

Lovely quaint guest house in the Wicklow mountains

Lovely quaint guest house in Laragh, which is a beautiful little village in the Wicklow mountains. We stayed in a studio apartment type room. We needed the kitchenette, which was great. The room is very cosy but also spacious. The bed was very comfy. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We will return again. Wicklow Heather restaurant next door is fantastic 👌🏽

It was a bit noisy in the morning when people were checking out as the room was very near reception.

Excellent option for Glendalough and Surrounding areas, will stay again

Loved the room, high quality finish, comfy beds and a great location. Short walk to a great restaurant, quite rooms and overall very good quality.

Super Lage, um Glendalough anzuschauen.

Sehr schönes, sauberes Zimmer. Mit Begrüßungsschokolade, Tee und Kaffeezubereitung, Kekse, Kühlschrank und Spüle. Sehr schöne Gartenanlage. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort, haben früh einen Kaffee vor dem Zimmer getrunken.

Very great, excellent price for the quality, would be glad to come again !

Excellent location for our two-nights stay ! 20 minutes walk to Glendalough where the hiking trails begin. The hotel is charming, we had one of the rooms located in the garden, it was very quiet. Wi-fi is included. Breakfeast is not included, we had one in the associated restaurant wich was very good.

We had a problem with the shower (no warm water), however the staff really tried to fix the situation and provided access to an unoccupied room to get a warm shower. We appreciated that.

Quiet cozy cottage vibes

The location is amazing! We were in a small house behind the main house, so it was quiet and private as well as cozy. There 's a great restaurant next door and a convenience store right across the road. No downsides, would stay again in a heartbeat.

My request was to have rooms beside each other, but we did not get it.And one of the rooms was supposed to be 2 single beds and it was double bed,so my adult children had to sleep in one bed,wasn't too comfortable..

Loved this place. Wish we had planned to stay multiple nights. Next time!

Loved the location and the room was super cute. My 11 year old loved the private nook with the single bed.

No one was there to check us out at 9am. We ended up leaving our key at the desk. Hope that was ok!

Business trip to Rathdrum

Location was very good as I was working about 10km away. I have stayed in the premises many times before and it is always very good in all aspects.

Nothing at all everything was perfect, nice welcome very friendly and efficient, there were issues at all on my visit all was good .

Superb

Great location close to Glendalough, with a shop and two restaurants/pubs close by. Clean, comfortable rooms in lovely surroundings. Friendly and caring staff.

Breakfast is not included but can be taken at a nearby restaurant for extra charge.

Nice room with parking.

Spacious room with comfortable beds Handy for the restaurant and pub! Parking on site.

It's easy to miss, there's no sign outside to identify the place. The reception used to be in the restaurant but now it's in a different building, the house itself. This was a bit confusing at first until we asked in the restaurant.

Good Place for an overnight stay

The bathroom was large with a separate shower and bath. Fridge, kettle and sink made it comfortable for making hot beverages and the seating area was comfortable.

The maintenance on the property could be improved and it let down the overall appeal. For example 3 lights didn’t work and were reported. Also large cracks and mild above the shower.

No breakfast included in the room rate!!!!!. Ridiculous. Supposed to be B&B. 14 euro in the restaurant recommended for breakfast. 14 euro!!!!

Exceptional

I booked Heather House on short notice and everything worked out perfectly. You have your own appartment with fridge with free coffee and tea available. A very good eakfast can be had in the restaurant next door. It lookee like the apartment would be next to the main road on the map, but it was next to a pretty secluded and quiet garden

Beautiful guest house in lovely location

Heather House is in an excellent location in the village of Laragh and is about 2km from the Glendalough monastic site. There's plenty of free car parking, a convenience store just across the road, the Wild Wicklow Heather restaurant virtually next door and Lynam's pub just a couple of hundred metres away. Our room, no.10, was large and well decorated with dark wooden flooring and furniture, and decor in neutral tones. Everything was spotless and in very good repair, and there was plenty of storage space. In-room facilities included a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a sink and a full-size fridge. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were replenished daily. The bed was extremely comfortable and, surrounded by peaceful silence, we slept very well. The shower room was immaculate, spacious and looked newly decorated. The walk-in shower was very roomy and there was plenty of hot water with fresh fluffy white towels provided each day of our stay. Our room was at the rear of the property and we loved that we had our own front door, a furnished terrace and views over the garden surrounding countryside. Check in was quick and easy, and a friendly staff member brought us right to our room. On departure, we were invited to just leave the key in the room when we were ready to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heather House and hope to return before too long.

Just a small thing but it would be nice to have proper ceramic cups/mugs in the room rather than paper cups.
