What a fantastic experience we had in this properly. The location is perfect, the property inside and outside is fantastic, Paul the caretaker is so helpful during our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and definitely will be back again.
Will share this experience to our friends and family.
Highly recommended place to have a wonderful experience in Adelaide.

Delightful accomodation with a big beautiful garden in peaceful North Adelaide. Easy walk into town and all of the attractions

Very nice old cottage in a tidy garden at the back of the main house. Comfortable bed and quiet location.

Older style property, spacious and in very good condition. Lovely grounds and located in a quiet tree lined street, many dining shopping options within easy walking distance. Owners provided detailed instructions and recommendations. Very happy with Buxton Manor.

Buxton Manor was an absolutely stunning look into yesteryear.
The decor was a reminder of an era when homes had some character and style.
All the comforts and necessities we needed and the convenience of a free city bus a couple of doors down, Buxton Manor suited us and we cannot rate it highly enough.

Buxton Manor in North Adelaide was a wonderful place to stay. Surrounds were stunning with Old English Gardens, lovely chairs and tables to sit in the large lawn area’s to soak up the sun and new Spring htowthy. Out Apartment “The Buxton” was very large and spacious and furnished with period furniture and other quirky art pieces from the early period. The walls are filled with Posters of plays and films all signed by the artists and actors in the plays. I could keep raving on but highly recommend by Suzie and Alison. Vic. Australia. Regina was a most helpful and thoughtful host. Great place to stay in Nth Adelaide.

The vintage feel is amazing, really feels as if you have stepped back in time. Beautiful area. We loved it ❤️.

Absolutely gorgeous period cottage with period furnishings. The main bedroom looks out onto a beautiful garden. Peaceful and quiet with full amenities.

The building is special and elegant. The rooms are big and tidy. The only criticism is a rather small bathtub for its spacious bathroom.

A beautiful stay in the city

A nice big stay in this historical building.
Inside::High seelings and an colonial additude The house was clean and had a lot of funny edges
The Manor stands in a safe and friendly neighberhood.with a lovely private garden,
Everything we needed was present and if we wanted special things on breakfast we only have to ask.
The most of the time a handyman was doing things in the garden .
I had some nice chats with him about Australia

I travel for business frequently and I often stay in and around North Adelaide. What an amazing stay at the Buxton Manor. If you are wanting to stay in an yesteryear style accommodation then this heritage listed home is worth a visit. From the moment of booking until the time that your leave it is very bit of an wonderful experience. This home brought back so many childhood memories.
You won’t be disappointed with the location and surrounding homes, restaurants and cafes only a short walk away!

Buxton Manor is a unique and historic property with a lot of small, perfect details. The location is quiet, but on a bus route. It’s very pretty. Close to a small commercial neighborhood that’s very hip. We loved it.

Nice place to stay close to the city. History of the place is very interesting. We found it very convenient to where we were needing to be.

Due to artefacts in the rooms it felt like home!

Take a step back in time at this amazing place. The attention to detail is impressive. The tranquil gardens are a great place to relax. The only negative i have is that you are right in the flight path but that said this place is amazing

This our second stay. A delightful property. Very accommodating management. And lovely place with many antique style furnishings

We stayed in the Peppers Cottage and it was a absolutely charming place to be
The gardens are beautiful, we had wine and cheese and greens watching parrots fly over and honey eaters sampling from all the flowers
The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meal
I would recommend Buxton Manor to anyone who wants a peaceful stay but it is only a short walk to lots of restaurants and hotels

We had great time here and we enjoy our stay at the garden and loft apartment. The apartment is close to the city and have free city connector buses on Buxton Street. However, I rated our stay 85/100 for the following reason.1. It is under the flight path and would be quite noisy sometimes.2. No free wifi.

Amazing room and house. Really wish we'd had time to sit and drink wine in the living room. A very special location and they gave good advice on what was available in the area. The only negatives were the shower and being on the flight path but fortunately the airport is closed from 22:30 until around 06:00 hrs.

We stayed at Butlers, which is one of five apartments at Buxton Manor. The property is in leafy historical North Adelaide and with easy access to shops, restaurants, amenities and major roads. There's off street parking, which worked very well for us. Housekeeping doesn't happen everyday, but it didn't bother us. If you're after a serviced apartment with character, then Buxton Manor is definitely worth a try.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at Buxton Manor. The house has all the old charm with all the modern day requirements. The staff welcomed us with a phone call when we arrived and were very helpful and friendly. Close to North Adelaide and Adelaide nightlife.

1. Location isn't very good. Melbourne Street is the place to be for cafes and shopping NOT O'Connell Street.
2. No TV in bed.
3. Too much of their stuff in the cottage and not much room to unpack your own stuff (hard to unpack and put your belongings anywhere).
4. Planes and more planes - right above the flight path. Planes every 15 minutes on Friday and Saturday afternoon. First plane at 7AM!
I would prefer to stay at a more modern Hotel in the city centre where you have TV in bed, modern facilities and are close to amenities. e.g. Supermarket, coffee shops
For example: Could have stayed at the Hilton for half the price with a buffet breakfast and been right in the city centre.

Under the flight path and old world charm does not offer comfort. Aircraft approach noise a sagging mattress parking arrangements noisy Units next door and cleaning staff that don't clean power leads that are dangerous and a faulty cistern and badly fitted lavatory seat all made for a very uncomfortable week. Oh whoops what about that noisy fan in the bathroom on the other side of the bedroom wall! That said the Nepalese Restaurant at the end of Buxton Street is delightful and provides wonderful cuisine. This B & B is charming and quaint and that is it at the price I would expect a more comfortable place to stay. Tidy up your act guys!

It was like we walked into our own home. It is absolutely lovely, very caring people, little touches went a long way. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

We were going to a concert in the city and wanted to be c lose enough for walking distance, with all the "amenities". This place has it all. The accommodation is themed and very spacious, with everything provided that you could possibly want. We met another couple staying there and did "comparison tours" of each others quarters. Great fun! I have already recommended this to some people that I know.

Spent one very comfortable night sleeping in a large queen size bed. Walked to a good pub to view an AFL game and enjoyed the local atmosphere.
