The room was very basic; the shower cubicle was discussing and there was mould on the shower curtain. I was unable to make breakfast due to having to leave at 07:00; the hotel refused to refund me my money which I had paid for breakfast. The receptionist was rude about it. I’ve stayed here before and the service then was nice… not sure what’s happened since. There are plenty more hotels in the area, including chain hotels which offer a better service and much cleaner rooms.

It is such a beautiful building. The outside and entrance are stunning and the staff were lovely. It is such a shame that all the rooms are stuck in the 70s. Desperate in need of some updating. Someone had opened the window prior to my arrival so there were lots of flies in the room. There were cobwebs all over the ceiling. There was an alarm that went off if someone left a door open right outside my room which was going off regularly throughout the night.

Beautiful property from outside, I am sure it must be a lovely place for events but room we have stayed in was disappointing. And we choose the superior one! Everything in the room felt very cheap. The bedding was old and low quality, you could actually see through, toilet paper cheap, toiletries nothing special. The bed was awful! No mini fridge and absolutely no water in the room! Didn't realize that in today's day and age they would not provide water... Tea and coffee cheap and only one portion of biscuits for both of us! Even the next few days during which we have stayed, they have us only one biscuit and 2-3 bags of tea. They present themselves like a nice hotel but actually it felt like a budget one...

Good value for money hotel. Bedrooms looking a bit dated and tired now, water stains on ceiling and multiple cracked tiles in bathroom. Staff are super friendly and can’t do enough for you, even called us on our mobile phone to say outside main road was blocked and needed to tell taxi driver to take alternative route. Good selection and quality of buffet breakfast, although my only gripe was cold plates for a hot buffet…

It was a great stay for the funeral we went to, definitely stay again , not so much in room 12 as the toilet was straight so any other room will be better ,the toilet was on a lopsided floor an made us feel pissed sitting on it lol, so any other room would be better.

This hotel must have the most uncomfortable beds that i have ever slept on, we had the worst night sleep as there were springs digging in us all night, and staff failed to tell us that breakfast was only served till 9, apart from that a nice hotel and good staff

Staff were kind and accommodating. Distance to Farnham and nearby attractions good if one has access to a car. Gardens are beautiful. Rooms adequate and linens, pillows acceptable but not good quality. Not pristine in terms of cleanliness but adequate. Lovely ambience.

Such a beautiful hotel, however the room I was in was very basic. Cleanliness was good however the coffee cup in my room was stained. Breakfast choice was good, but the cooked breakfast could have been better. The poached egg tasted very vinegary and the sausage wasn't freshly cooked. I would however stay again because it was good value for money.

Great hotel in a quiet location just off a busy bypass so walks very limited as no paths from driveway end. Bedroom with a balcony which is a great addition. Tidy and clean bedroom. 5 Star it's not but for a quiet, quirky, squeaky floorboards but cosy hotel with a good standard of cleanliness this is a gimme for 1 or 2 nights. Staff are very accommodating Breakfast is generally standard stuff They do not serve meals but can rustle up a Pizza, Farnham town is a 5 minute drive away with plenty of eateries to choose from. Would go back

We had Room 4 with our two dogs which was excellently situated on the ground floor with a verandah, situated right next to the breakfast room. Everything was clean and easy to use with staff friendly and accommodating.

Had accidentally booked the room for 1 person so they charged us for a second breakfast. Fine. However they were informed of the horrendous noise the pipes made whenever the toilet was flushed. Went on for over twenty minutes on on occasion. It was noise and happened when toilets flushed in other rooms. Would have been nice to have more than a “Oh sorry about that” since it affected sleep. Room was dated and smelled of smoke. Breakfast was way overpriced for how poor it was. Definitely would not visit again

The property looks unique and quaint which it is and is in an idyllic area. The room however was dated, the bathroom old and tired, and my room was between the cleaning cupboard so it was noisy and inappropriate. The bed was comfortable but I would recommend bringing your own pillows as the ones provided feel very lumpy and cheap. It’s a shame because it has so much potential to be great, but is let down by lack of care and upkeep for the price they charge.

This stunning old manor was quiet and clean! Staff are fabulous! The rooms were well equipped with fluffy towels and kettle with treats. The window opened for fresh air and the horses in the formless were a quaint surprise! It is out of the way best with a car and plenty of free parking at the door

I stay in hotels 4 times a week - these were the best pillows I'd had for a long time. Otherwise not brilliant but a very quiet location, great access so good value really.
