The gentleman is super friendly and nice. Letting us to check in early at noon. He explained everything very clearly about how to use the elevator and door key. Very spacious and clean room. Only 5 minutes walk to Milano Centrale. Highly recommended.

Apartment room is very nice and private, conveniently located close to transit stations! My son was very curious with the antique elevator mechanism the have available to us to transport our luggage up.

This place was fantastic, a proper homely apartment situated a short walk from the central station, and a stones throw from the metro! The apartment was everything we wanted, spacious, modern, money for value etc. We were welcomed excellently, and had some free goodies as a welcoming gifts! The room service (cleaning) are fantastic, you never know they’ve been, except when you see how much cleaner things are! Our host was amazing, the surrounding area is quite vibrant, the Centrale station behind and Caizzo metro infront. The area on the whole seems fairly safe, with fancy buildings and cars etc. However do keep your wits, as in the latter part of night (as expected) there are some interesting characters that walk the streets (post 11pm). My only negative with this place is that it does get quite hot, so you have to use the AC a lot (partner hates AC) you can leave windows open for ventilation, but we were met with rain, so didn’t want to risk letting it in. The surrounding area is good for food, and accessibility, questionable for shops, but that could be my own ignorance, plus we spent more time in the centre of Milan, so it didn’t bother us so much. definitely recommend, the hotel, is safe, secure, incredible value for money and our hostess was extremely kind and helpful.

A great well located apartment hotel with lots of welcoming gifts that were appreciated. Light spacious and comfortable apartment with a great laundry available. Supermarket, restaurants and quick walk to the station. Only downside was a very hard bed!!

I normally prefer traditional hotels, but Residence de la Gare was a fabulous apartment-like hotel just around the corner from Milan Centrale. Not only is it an easy walk from the main train station, but there's a subway & tram stop basically outside of the front door. Plus the airport shuttles all leave from that same side of the Centrale train station. The communication is great leading up to your stay, and when you check-in, there is a thorough explanation of how to get into the main entrances and your room. The rooms are indeed full sized apartments, and your hosts have included all of the amenities (and then some!) to make your stay a great one. We had booked two rooms, so they put us side by side. After staying in some smaller European hotel rooms throughout this trip, it was really nice being in these spacious apartments to end our visit. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Really great apartment very close to Milan's central train station and with a metro around the corner. The apartment was very spacious, lots of room for a family and a great kitchen with plenty of utensils to make a proper meal. I booked this last minute and it really exceeded my expectations, the staff at the apartment were lovely and provided a proper run though of facilities. A really great place which I'd like to return to on my next trip to Milan.

This was our last stop in Italy before going home and it surely was the best accommodation we have had to date. The property manager was very polite and helpful during our check-in and stay. Only a couple of minutes walk to Milan Central Station

Easy to get to from central train station and got a bus transfer from Bergamo airport and you are dropped off at the station which is about a 3 minute walk to the hotel. Late check in was fine, all communicated beforehand and no problems. Apartment was clean and had everything you needed. Only downside for us was the firmness of the bed and sofa bed - thought I had booked the apartment with two bedrooms as thats what was in the photos of it but never mind. Receptionist was polite and let us store our luggage from check out as we had a late flight. This place is a great option if you will be getting around by train and metro to sight see, just be aware because of the location it’s quite noisy with traffic.

The location is really good, very close to the station. You hear some sounds from outside street but it's not busy area and it was quiet enough that we had no issue in sleeping. Comfortable size, all kitchen amenities were supplied.

Very close to main road and noisy during night. The bedding is old and too soft. The lift was out of order on the day checkout and have to carry the heavy luggage from the 5th floor down. The guy in the morning shift didn't even offer help. The only good is near train station and room is clean and spacious.

Our best accommodation of our Italy trip. Apartment was spacious n bathroom was big n clean. It was very close to The Central Station n easy to drag our luggages to take the Malpensa Express or buses to the airport. Fully satisfied.

The hotel is about 5 minutes walking distance from Milano Central Station. It is near bus and subway stations. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is clean.

Stayed here for 2 nights in October 2015 with my wife and daughter. Nice big room and lounge. very close to Milan Central railway station (walking distance with suitcases!) and very close to subway with access to all of Milan. staff very helpful and accomodating. had a wonderful stay!

Stayed for 3 nights in September 2014. This is a sweet little apartment building only a short walk from Milano Centrale station. Easy to get to from Malpensa airport. You can't see the apartment building from the train station, so it's a good idea to have access to a map with you. Take the exit with 'Luigi' in the name and you're on the right track :) There was a small supermarket a short walk away called Carrefour Express (on Via Luigi Settembrini), and a metro stop very close to the apartment. It was comfy and well-appointed, with good aircon. Nice bathroom, comfy bed. Apartment was very clean on arrival. Nice staff too, happy to help. We didn't notice any noise overnight either. Was so nice to have the extra space than what you'd get with a hotel. It was in a very handy location, if you take the metro from Centrale rather than the stop closest to the apartment, it's only 4 stops to the Duomo (Cathedral).
