Budget hotel, staff were friendly enough and breakfast was a nice complimentary boost albeit very strongly set out at the bottom of the stairs and not in a room where you could sit down and enjoy it.
There was a lot of rubbish around the grounds, particularly Yogurt pots discarded out the window from a guest and building materials left scattered around. Bin area was very unclean too.
The room was neat and tidy but the floor was covered in hairs, human hairs I thought I would clarify as it is dog friendly. Bathroom was covered is very old tiles with many holes, cracks and patches.
Perhaps the most annoying thing to me was no plug sockets or USB near the bed which is annoying when I like to keep my phone nearby as I fall asleep.

This is fairly standard road side accommodation. The rooms are a good size and all the facilities were good. The shower was great. Due to being so close to the A5 there is quite a bit of traffic noise.

AWFUL HOTEL IN POOR, DIRTY CONDITION. It's a shambles, disgusting. Breakfast is laid out in the stairway where guests are coming in and our with luggage, unhygienic. This is a redundant Travelodge with very low standards and extremely poor housekeeping and maintenance.

Just the edge of a main road so bit noisy

Stayed 5 minutes and left. Dirty property. We wanted something basic but not run into the ground. Breakfast being served under the stairs in the corridor was the final straw for us!

It was an idea place to have a stopover when going down to south and the staff was very nice

The front of house team were very helpful. The cleaner was friendly and the room was cleaned to a high standard. It was let down by the age of the fixtures and fittings. Sofa ripped, towel rail coming off the wall in the bathroom.
The mattress was comfy, but very warm room.
I had a lovely warm shower, with strong waterflow. The bath was clean, but some black mould on the grouting. The only way to get rid of it is by replacing it. Fresh bread, croissants, youghurts and cereal for breakfast .
For a last minute stay, it was servicable, I feel sad saying this, because the team were amazing.

Check in was good gentleman was very polite. Evening time all you could hear was a couple arguing outside our window this went on for most the night and early hours of Friday morning which kept my son awake. The 2nd night again the couple arguing in the early hours of Saturday which woke me up. Then early morning someone in the room above us was allowing their child to run around jumping. Then jumping on the beds and then off of them which woke us up. I spoke to the gentleman at reception who admitted to knowing the couple was arguing both nights but did not stop them and allowed it to carry on. As I was leaving there was then a couple sitting outside the front right by the entrance smoking weed. Safe to say I won't be staying again

Reasonable price, friendly reception, but 2 double beds and a single in the same room left little floor room. Pity no bar or food any where near. Did have a vending machine with soft drinks crisps and chocolate. Continental breakfast okay but no fruit.

Great stay. Staff was so friendly and helpful.
Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great to start your day. Lovely outdoor seating areas to watch the sunset. 5 stars from us.
The only thing which was a little off putting was loud music coming from a van which was out there for hours which was covering the entrance to the lodge.

Good size, comfortable, clean room. Lucky to have room overlooking fields and away from busy main road.
Breakfast basic .. toast, cereal, yogurt etc. and has to be eaten in bedroom, only outside seating available. Good price for stay near the airport.

The welcome we received was marvellous, not sure if it for us or our twin girls. The mattresses are getting a bit tired, but I was so tired, it didn’t take me long to fall asleep, til said twins woke us at 4am. The room looked clean, but when I pulled the changing bag down, from the cupboard, some bits of broken biscuit came with it. The receptionist was going to come and clean it, but I told her not to, as we were too tired. We didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked like just cereal and toast with and a hot drink, I’m not sure, but I didn’t really see anything else, for a continental breakfast. Apart from those few minor points, it was ok.

The staff at this property are very likeable and friendly. Whenever we are visiting our Sister who lives in the village, the main Reception lady is so wonderfully helpful whenever we stay. Always happy to see us and helpful.
