We stayed on the top floor and the view and the room gave us a lifelong memory. The staff is very kind. The only way to get there is by walking up the stairs from the shore or down the stairs from the road, and it is quite a leg workout.

The hotel is very quaint and the view is magnificent. Our room was fantastic however we had a leak in the bedroom but the staff was very helpful and we were able to move our bed into the sitting area, which was totally fine. Our veranda was magnificent. Definitely hire the helpers to bring your luggage up from the ferry if you take the ferry. It is a bit of a hike to get to the hotel and we found ourselves a little bit lost a couple of times the first time up. There are shortcuts that would have been good to know about in advance. This hotel is not immediately in the center of all the shops, but if you are okay with hills, stairs, and about a 15 minute walk, this is a perfect place to stay.

Absolutely loved my stay here. We were in room 57 and had what I believe was the most immaculate view in all of Positano! It was definitely a hike so I recommend walking for young people who want a hard workout and using the porter service for people who do not like hiking uphill. The breakfast service was perfect start to the day and included a very kind and friendly staff. I hope to return someday!

I made a mistake in booking the dates, called a few hours later and they said tough beans and kept $800 for two nights that I could not get there for.

A beautiful location with amazing views! The owner is very charming and the staff are super attentive. Breakfast was simple but lovely with excellent cappuccinos! It is a bit of a walk into the main town and, being Positano, involves many stairs so just be aware of that. Not a problem for us and we loved that the property is a bit tucked away so very quiet at night. Overall a wonderful stay!

Great little hotel in Positano. The desk clear was very helpful in helping us.

View from our balcony was amazing. Room was large. Staff were super nice and helped us find alternate transportation when ferries were cancelled.

This picturesque property is better in person. The location is perfect and the staff is friendly and informative. Breakfast in the lovely garden was a perfect start to each day. We look forward to a future stay here again same room longer stay. LOL

The staff were wonderful and thoughtful regarding our needs. They recommended a wonderful restaurant at the top of Positano and called a car service for us to get there and back. Wonderful

Fantastic balcony & views from the hotel.
As with everywhere in Positano there are many steps to get anywhere. Only criticism is the size of the shower, a little on the small side.
Loads of choice for breakfast

Amazing stay! We had a triple superior room with a stunning balcony sea view. Room was clean and spacious. The staff was wonderful especially Franco who was so helpful throughout. The garden for breakfast was a dream! Everything was amazing here. The area felt very safe. Lovely restaurants nearby. Much prefer this quieter section of Positano. Hope to come back again soon!

The staff is incredibly kind and prompt. The view from the garden is unbeatable; so beautiful. The breakfast is great. Positano has stairs everywhere, to all hotels, so just know this when you book. It’s part of the intrigue of Positano.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, special thanks to Franco who does an amazing job helping guests get their luggage up and down the stairs. The location breakfast was great and overall could not fault our stay - would definitely book again!

Like everything in Positano- you have to work for this view with steps- but also like everything else- it is SO worth it! The property is stunning and the balcony views will make you want to sit on your patio all day and never leave. If you do want to leave however, you are a short walk down the stairs to the beach- or take the tunnel behind the fancy rstaraunt on your way down to the main town square (we only found this shortcut at the end). Either way you will love your stay here- we will be back!

The balcony view was spectacular and the service was outstanding. Simone really took the time to help us out and feel welcome. She also provided a lot of information and recommendation. The hotel is tucked away and tricky to find. The porters did a great job of helping us out with the luggage from the Ferry area since the steps are super intense and vast. The hotel rooms are slightly outdated but the location is pretty good.

This hotel is more beautiful than the pictures. The property is very clean and well kept and the rooms are very clean. The view from the room balcony was absolutely breathtaking. Pictures cannot do it justice. It literally took our breath away seeing the view. The location is great. It’s not too far from a more private beach and not too far from the top so everything was easily accessible considering the amount of stairs there are. On top of it all, everyone at the hotel was so friendly and welcoming. The gentleman explained everything to us in so much detail and even helped us with many tips for Path of the Gods trail. Their warm and welcoming demeanor was the icing on top. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Positano!

Overall, stay at Dimora was very pleasant. Rooms are outdated but clean, views are incredible, breakfast is light but included. And staff was wonderful.
One thing the hotel should advise more clearly: you HAVE to use porter service from port if you're coming in on ferry. Don't let the "8 minute" walk on Google maps fool you. This doesn't consider the 500 stair steps (not an exaggeration) and verticality of Positano. It was more like 45 minutes with luggage.
But 100% recommend this hotel.
General note about Positano, you have to be OK with stairs. If the average stair case for one floor is 15-20 steps, you can do the math:
150 steps from street entrance to hotel that cannot be avoided.
~250 steps from sea level at port and 1.4 mile walk to get to hotel.
~200 steps from the hotel down to the beach
This is true for anywhere you stay in Positano. But it is a shock. Know this going into it and plan accordingly: porters, sneakers, healthy knees.

This property was absolutely beautiful and our room was amazing! I can’t even describe the views!! What made our experience that much better was the staff. The older gentleman there was so sweet and you can tell he really loves what he does and he takes the time to make your stay that much better. He even made our drinks extra special late at night when we could have just drank them out of the bottle from the lobby fridge. We also had really nice conversations with him and the breakfast every morning was so good and complimentary!

Where do I start? Titsiana was so very helpful and friendly, she made sure our honeymoon stay was top notch. The property is gorgeous and I highly recommend booking here.

The hotel is around 10 min walk from Positano. It has great restaurants and personally i find better than Positano. The facility is very nice with great views, both from room and the garden. The beach is steps away. Breakfast was great too.
