Edinburgh's New Town is a beautiful area located just minutes from Edinburgh Waverley Station. This historic district is home to a number of world-famous attractions, including Edinburgh Castle, the National Museum of Scotland, the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Camera Obscura and World of Illusions, the Scottish National Gallery, and St Giles' Cathedral are also popular destinations, and The Real Mary King's Close offers a fascinating glimpse into Edinburgh's past. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area, and the Grain Store is a particularly popular spot for dinner and drinks. Leith Walk is just a few minutes away, offering even more dining and shopping options.
The apartment is easily accessible by public transport or by car.
Waverley Train Station is 10 min walk (0.6 miles).
Edinburgh Airport is 30 minutes by car.
Kindly keep in mind that this is a residential area. We ask that you respect our neighbours by keeping noise levels low, particularly in shared spaces like the staircase.
This is a self-check-in property and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time.
Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). For security purposes, there may be an additional cost to replace the locks. So, please keep your keys safe :)
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a £300 GBP smoking fee, at a minimum.
We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).

I quite like the location, it's convenient, great stores restaurants coffee shops near by on the street, close to all the Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows. Had a great time.

Good location but the stairs to this unit were not pleasant to use. Yes, the unit is on the 3rd floor but you need to count the “ground” floor which really makes this unit on the 4th floor.

We were so happy to start our Scotland trip with four nights in the Broughton flat. It was a cozy and comfortable home base for acclimating after international travel. There were three of us and we each took a bedroom, which felt like quite a luxury to manage each of our transitioning sleep schedules.
Bus service was right in front of the flat, but we ended up using Ubers a lot. They were quick and inexpensive. We walked to Old Town quite a bit as well.
Enjoyed the many shops, restaurants and coffee shops on Broughton.
NOTE: the flat is on the top floor (four or five floors, I can't remember) and the stairs feel endless. Not a detraction but this may not be for everyone. No, there is not an elevator.
I would definitely book this flat if we return to Edinburgh.
