This home is the perfect place to call home base while you explore all that southern California has to offer, including all of the waterfront sports you can think of. San Diego is incredibly close, so you can take in all of its fun attractions like the world-famous San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, and the boardwalk night markets.

Inside you'll find a bright interior flooded with natural light, modern and industrial decor, and all the comforts you'll need for a memorable stay. Enjoy dining al fresco on the balcony, enjoying great conversation in the living area, and cooking in one of the two pristine kitchens complete with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bars. There are plenty of places to rest your head with soft beds in the bedrooms, roomy en-suite bathrooms with walk in showers and luxurious tubs, and large TVs to host movie nights on. For group convenience, there are also two sets of washer/dryer units. Ideal for a group vacation or two separate families to get together, the memories made here will forever be timeless.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Loved this home! Great location for visiting north San Diego county. Easy access and short drive to several beaches, Cardiff, San Elijo, Swammi’s, Moonlight. Cardiff has several dining options within walking distance, and even more just up the road in Encinitas. The house had plenty of space for couple of families. The lower level is set up as an entire studio apartment, the middle level has two rooms with a shared bathroom plus an half bath, and the top bedroom is a private primary bedroom with an en-suite. A medium suv fit well in the garage, but larger than that would need to park outside as the owner keeps a vehicle in the garage too. Wonderful, well kept home. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Rented the home with our family and several of my daughters college age friends. The home set up was perfect as it has 2 separate living areas which provided privacy and quiet for us (and two entrances). The air conditioning worked great (many area homes don’t have ac). If you have a very large vehicle parking in front is no problem we had a ford expedition max that we could drive 7 people around. We look forward to returning again!

This property is gorgeous and just as advertised. There are lots of stairs inside the home because it is split over 3 levels. The bottom floor is basically a studio with a kitchen and bathroom, 2nd level has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, and 3rd level has the main living area with a small patio, living room, kitchen and dining area with another small set of stairs up to the master. If you are a coffee drinker, plan to bring ground coffee or keurig cups (no coffee grinder). The kitchen has most of the basics, but you may want to check ahead of time if you are planning to cook there and need specific items. Beds are comfortable and there’s a large table in the main area that was great for meals and playing games with the family. In general, there’s not a lot of “extras” that you find at some other properties (e.g., games, kitchen extras, local information, etc) but it was very comfortable for housing multiple families. There is room for one car in front and a garage and driveway in the back for up to 3 cars, but if you have a larger car or multiple cars to park it can be a bit tricky. We made it work with a Forester and a sedan in the driveway, but had to do some multiple point turns to back out because the space is tight in the alley behind the driveway. Overall, this is a great property and we would definitely come back again!

This was one of the nicest homes we have ever rented! The bedrooms were spaced apart on 3 different levels. It was perfect for our family. Lovely patio with a great view of the ocean. Less than a mile to great beaches, and Pacific Coast Grill- also highly recommended! Cardiff is a great location north of San Diego. We will be back!

The house was clean, modern, comfortable with a great view of the Pacific. The neighborhood and Cardiff community was peaceful and friendly. For our family trip the 3 floor layout worked out perfect, plenty of bathrooms, comfy beds and great kitchen, grill set up to cook our meals.

We had 7 people ranging from 18 months to 60+ years old. House was beautiful with an ocean view and good sized bedrooms. The house is multi-level with lots of stairs. There is an entire suite in the bottom floor with an additional kitchen, seating area and bathroom that made it great for my teenage kids to escape. You can walk to the beach and local shops/restaurants as long as you can handle hills. This home is located in a little beach town about 20 minutes (if no traffic) from SD. My only complaint is they only gave us one key and no garage door opener. Not a lot of info about the house in the house manual.

This is a great property. The views are spectacular and the pictures don’t do it justice. You are walking distance to the market, restaurants, and the beach. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. It was nice to be able to cook meals at the house, use the grill, etc. It was a great place for our family to all get together and we would definitely stay here again.

The house was in a great location-easy to walk to shops and food as long as you can handle hills. It is a beautiful house with lovely views. My family loved it. My daughter and her boyfriend loved the downstairs apartment which would be good for old people who can’t do stairs. We had 1 problem with the front door which was handled in an hour and we had 2 other doors to enter the house so not a big issue. I would definitely rent this home again, but hopefully without the Pineapple Express for weather.
