Don't go here if you have mobility issues.
And my room overlooked the exit from nightclub very noisy.

The most beautiful room. Can't believe how cheap it was for such a gorgeous hotel. Also the bar is so festive make sure you treat yourself to a drink or two !

Really good stay here. Lovely bar and restaurant. Well situated and the room was fantastic. I slept really well

Very comfortable!

This is ideal for walking to Kings Hall and has great food entertainment and excellent service in this trendy hotel/ restaurants

Did what it said on the tin!

Had a lovely stay at the Potbank. While I knew about the deposit pre-authorisation, the 8-10 days release period has left me slightly nervous as I do not know who may stay in the same room during that period and how they may leave it. I would have thought the room could have been checked within 24 hours and the pre-authorisation released then.

A very unique and beautiful restaurant venue downstairs. Bedroom was in good condition, very clean with all necessities. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive.
4.2
I enjoyed my stay. Very roomy apartment, with all necessary facilities for self-catering. Good location for city centre and parks.
4.2
A really nice, clean, quiet hotel. Comfy beds, good kitchenette. Slightly odd bench/sofa in the room though. Be aware they pre authorise £50 on your card and this isn't made very clear when booking. Make sure you take ID too. However I would definitely stay here again.

This was a fabulous wee apartment which was very clean, nicely laid out and very easy to access.

The worst hotel experience I’ve had. My room was situated directly above the bar. I was aware it would be playing music until 10pm, however it got to 11 and showed no sign of stopping, so I rung reception who assured me it would be off my 11:30. It got to almost midnight with no sign of it quietening down so I rung down again, the lady at reception then very kindly let me change room to one higher up and away from the noise. The hotel in general is done up fairly nicely but the location is just appalling. Right next to a busy bar and restaurant, both of which are situated right next to the hotel rooms and are single glazed so sound is a big problem. Having checked the reviews before booking there was no word about this, had I of known I would’ve never booked. To top it off my shower didn’t work, the beds were insanely springy and uncomfortable, the pillows were like sleeping on bags of air, and the kitchen equipment (saucepans) was not fit for purpose. I picked here because it was close to a relatives house and I wanted to try a smaller business. I’ll stay in a premier inn next time. Avoid.

Reception staff exceptional and very helpful

Great little boat hole. Loved the guys looking after the site felt nice and safe. Clean and remote check in worked well. Only two little things perhaps a few more things for the kitchen as it would have been nice to have a plate and bowl, nice touch to have proper mugs and complimentary tea/coffee. Bathroom even though it had an extractor smelt a little musty perhaps due to having no window. But all in all would recommend.

Nice quirky bar and dining area. My room was adequately equipped but the quirkiness didn’t follow through to the accommodation. It was clean and well presented. Only issue is that the doors slam shut on entering and exiting even when trying my best to close them quietly. This resulted in it being quite noisy.
4.2
Room was okay & well equipped, wasn’t very clean as cobwebs on the extractor hood and quite dusty. No curtains only blinds so the room was quite light & night & the mattress was awful
4.2
Rather disappointed as room not as good as the one on Friday night. Not as much room a bit squashed and stain on chair only 1 chair my husband had to sit on bed. Would stay again if I could have a room like the one on Friday.
4.2
I was a bit worried as I read some bad reviews, but apart from not being able to turn down the temperature on the shower, and no plughole in the kitchen I enjoyed a little bit of noise from pub next door.

Everything was wonderful

Overall not bad but they're is no denying the entertainment downstairs is loud and goes into the early hours on a weekend. People also gathered on the benches right outside our window talking and revelling loudly until about 2am which was not ideal.v
The bed is too soft and squeaky for me and the water in the shower was far too hot at ours lowest temperature for me to shower.
Ok for the money but wouldn't do more than one night.
10am is too early for check out, especially if you have been kept awake and they charge another £20 if you want to check out later

Plenty of space in our double room. Felt very secure since there's a round the clock watchman at the facility. Very friendly, chatty guy.History of pottery is facinating, we enjoyed seeing the free Spode museum. Good location for traveling by train, then getting a taxi to and from Alton Towers. The only downside was the fire alarms that went off for apparently no reason.
4.2
Pleasantly surprised with both the room and the restaurant attached to the accommodation.
4.2
Great location, wasy communication and check in process, our 2 connecting rooms were well equipped.
4.2
Really happy. Check-in was quick & easy with a lovely member of the restaurant staff. So impressed with the size of the interconnecting rooms, well equipped kitchenette in-between with a few complimentary items. Very clean. Reservations team are really nice & helpful. Would definitely stay here again, thank you.

Good would use again

A most interesting site that could be made something special in future. It is in a quiet rather neglected area with a friendly population. Facilities in the hotel are excellent (again very quiet) but we never encountered a single employee and the café was not open for breakfast. No lift of course. We were very pleased overall and would recommend the hotel with the provisos above.

Me and my son stayed overnight as part of our fortnightly visits and we had a lovely time. The kitchenette was great touch. The room was spacious, the shower was awesome and the beds comfortable. Would recommend staying here again
4.2
Excellent, friendly staff, clean room.
Maybe a bit better signage from the road would help!
4.2
Fabulous quirky place which we really loved. Very welcoming staff, clean and comfortable accommodation. We will definitely return.
4.2
Loved the re-use of the old Spode factory, thought it was full of character whilst providing modern facilities. On-site parking was good and it was within walking distance of town centre and other amenities/cultural venues. Staff were helpful and gave recommendation for local eateries - the on-site restaurant was fully booked when we arrived at around 4pm so bear that in mind and book ahead. A minor drawback for some might be the volume of the on-site entertainment which filtered into our room (which directly overlooked the outside eating area) even with windows closed…we didn’t mind and it did stop about 10pm. Overall I’d thoroughly recommend staying here and will be back to further explore the potteries.

Great quirky place to stay fabulous food at the Quarter as well

Great place. Very friendly welcome. Room comfortable and well equipped for a self catering stay. Restaurant and bar chique but cosy. Industrial theme works well. Would definitely stay again.

It says rooms have Netflix TV. Neither of our rooms did. Queried it when there, also sent email, no reply. Rang to chase and was told the email would have gone to Expedia so potbank wouldn't have seen it but would point out the email to manager either that day or next, still no reply days on. Frustrating when no response. Apart from that room's were fine.

Outside coming in looked scary but once inside it was so lovely the staff member that checked us in was a delight and so helpful and the facilities were perfect for our stay. The book telling us dine out recommendations was such a help and the hippy chiqe beer garden was so cute the whole place made our stay so easy and happy
4.2
Ideal stop over headed down to Alton Towers. Walking distance from the town.
4.2
A great stay, nice to have the kitchenette in the room and the bed was comfy. Will definitely return in the future!
4.2
Really good for what we needed. Lots of space for the whole family and having the little kitchenette was really helpful. The cutlery and crockery provided is a bit limited and some of it not very clean, but that wasn't a huge problem, i just gave it all a wash before we used it.
4.2
It is a very practical, clean option at a very reasonable price. the only thing lacking was the fact that breakfast was not served until 10 am! It was rather inconvenient to have to search for a place to have breakfast when we did not know the area at all.
