Friendly & welcoming staff, great location, comfy room & plenty of choice for breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Convenient location, parking facilities easy. Staff friendly and helpful.
Very clean and comfortable rooms.

Easy walking distance to bars and food outlets, very expensive parking on site car park !!

The check in was easy and the staff really helpful from start of the stay to the end. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast area was constantly cleaned and cleared. The room was warm and the shower great. Just a shame we had a view overlooking a street at the back.
2.5
Lovely and accommodating staff, always present and available. Clean and comfy room. Well worth the price.

Very enjoyable breakfast but there wasn’t any warm plates for our cooked breakfast

This is an almost typical Express so everything you'd expect. What let it down was the clearly too small breakfast area and the fact that other guests were allowed to have their (non-Service) dogs in that area, allowing said dog to just wander up to others tables. Unhygienic and just rude with the staff doing nothing.
2.5
Absolutely fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn, the staff were fantastic all round, a big shout out to Ian, who has been brilliant throughout our stay.
The breakfast as always was beautiful the only thing i would say about this you have changed your apple juice for 'cloudy apple', please go back to apple juice as that isnt very noce for breakfast its like apple squash!

Was very good! Loved it

The hotel is well located (10 min walk into city) and parking is available but at an extra cost. The breakfast was good and there was enough choice but had to wait 10 mins for a table on the Sunday morning as it was busy - Saturday was fine. There were 4 of us staying in a family room and the double bed was good but the pull-out sofa was between a single and double size so the 2 children sharing weren't very comfortable but managed. Staff were all lovely and very helpful.

Great location for short walk to busy areas. Clean room with plenty of space to work. Shower worked well & hot which is always a bonus. Breakfast also a good spread & hot. Not always keen on Buffets but this was OK!

A small but efficient room. Close to city center.

This hotel is my absolute favourite out of hundreds - the stunning mattress gets me every time! I ALWAYS have a beautiful nights sleep. Very popular hotel and breakfast can feel very overcrowded (i still think the hot drinks machine should be relocated to the bar area) always had 5 star customer service and this is my number one choice when staying in exeter.

A conveniently situated hotel for the City Centre. The hotel was very clean & the parking was on site. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous & professional. We would happily stay at this hotel again. The only downside we could see was the parking was operated by a third party & it was expensive. Having said that it was convenient, especially for us older folks.

Great hotel in a convenient location within walkable distance to the local restaurants and other amenities. The hotel was very clean, modern, and met all of my requirements for a one-night business stay. The staff were welcoming and very helpful; and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Can happily recommend this hotel, and will undoubtedly book again in the future.

NOT HAPPY to have hefty cost of PARKING to be added and NOT INCLUDED! I certainly would have explored other options if I had noticed this before booking.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We had a sofa bed in the room for our granddaughter which made it a tight squeeze for us all. Lovely shower and bathroom, all very clean. Breakfast was chaotic, small room and too many people but it was a Saturday and fully booked. Breakfast was good, plenty of it and fresh, good value. Parking was a bit steep at £16 for overnight. I would recommend and would stay again but probably not on a busy weekend in summer.

One night stay. Very clean. Window not openable but a/c kept room temp comfortable. Only gripe was having been told breakfast service would be busy (small breakfast room for size of hotel) and suggested i get there early when i arrived at 730am only four tables were occupied and ALL other tables had ‘reserved’ signs on them! I was offered a high stool window seat but insisted on a normal table which they eventually found for me. If i had known tables could be reserved I would have done so in order to have a later breakfast.

The room was very small with the sofa bed out, not much room with luggage and kids, it’s fine for a stop over but would probably want a larger room if staying longer. Staff were wonderful and breakfast was great
