Amazing Property! Truly enjoyed our stay there. Historic building with all amenities. Very centrally located. Our apartment had 2 king size beds and a massive living room with 4 bathrooms. 10-15 minute walk to the rail Station as well most historic sites in Florence. What sets this property apart are the hosts. Ulrike and Satya go Above and beyond to make your stay a pleasure. Daily room cleaning are available. Exceptional advice on shopping and excursions was provided. They were super flexible in helping me out when I made a mistake and booked incorrect dates. They managed to help me with accommodation during peak summer travel. They also were super helpful when I missed my flights and arrived late evening. The check in and check out was smooth. I stay in airbnbs all the time and I can’t recommend this place enough. The apartment and Ulrike and Satya’s hospitality were truly exceptional. If I were to come back to Florence again in the future, I would book again at this Airbnb.

It was one of the worst experience. It was not a hotel it is almost guest house with (2-3 apartments) for rent… no restaurants - no reciprion - no smart access to apartment (4 keyes to be used😀).The worst thing is the bugs that found in the bed and cabinet. In summery: the facility is not wourth the value that you spent at all.

This was our first trip to Florence. Family of four stayed in one of the suites. Enormous suite with kitchen, huge family room, and two upstairs bedrooms. Plenty of room. This is in an excellent location on a side street close to a grocery store and lots of little shops. It’s about a 10 to 12 minute walk to the tourist attractions and the river. Also close Enough to the train station that you can get back-and-forth by taxi in under 10 minutes. The owner, Ulrike, deserves all of the five star reviews that she receives. My wife and I spent some time speaking with her. What a lovely person! She made sure we had a taxi the morning of our departure and texted us several hours after we checked out to let us know that a planned train strike a few days later was canceled so we would not need to buy bus tickets. We will 100% come back to visit the next time we come to Florence.

Our stay here was fantastic! It was recommended to us by family friends and they were spot on with the location and our host Ulrike- both were spectacular! Room was so comfortable, location was very close to all the sites but it was nice to come home to a quieter neighborhood for the evening. Ulrike had wonderful communication, both pre and during our stay. She was so helpful with recommendations for vegan/vegetarian options for us- I could go on and on about how great our stay was. We would go back and stay in a heartbeat.

Very good location close to the downtown Florence. The owner and her assistant were very nice and very professional. Room was cozy and comfy. The only thing I would say is there was no AC in march as it is connected to all room. Was a little warm inside but other than that I strongly recommend it.

Ulrike was an absolute dream to work with. She could not have been more accommodating, from letting us store our bags when we arrived before our official check in time, and letting us keep our bags in her office after our check out time so we could see one more sight before our train left. Our room had a quaint view of a garden and was so quiet at night. We could not have had a better first experience in Florence, and so much of that was due to Ulrike.

Fantastic place to stay within walking distance of great restaurants and Florence's historic centre. Satya was a great host and provided us with so many helpful recommendations, whilst also providing a warm and friendly welcome.

We extended our stay in Florence since we liked the city so much. The hotel we stayed was fully booked. We found this lovely apartment B&B only a few hundred meters away. The owner Ulrike was super friendly and knowledgeable about Florence and nearby areas. She gave us great recommendations of where to visit. The check in process was easy. The apartment is nicely decorated and very clean. Bathroom is newly remodeled. The ceiling and windows have the old time charm. The bed is very comfortable. I had the best sleep since I arrived Europe in this apartment, feeling refreshed the next day. The location of the apartment is very convenient, walking distance to the Duomo , museums, restaurants and shopping district. Ulrike also helped us to reserve a taxi which is very helpful since we don’t speak Italian. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay at this apartment.

Location was perfect - central and walkable to so many Florence highlights. Our room was unique and charming - felt fitting for Florence. Ulrike was highly responsive and gave fantastic dinner recommendations. Do be aware when booking — the room rate is reflective on level of housekeeping frequency. We did not see this indicated anywhere upon booking, and learned our housekeeping services were every 3 days. Due to a staffing issue, we actually received housekeeping on day 4, right before leaving.

Great place to stay in Florence - Ulrike went above and beyond for us, gave advice on how to make the most of the city, and was always up for a friendly chat. The location of the hotel was within walking distance to many sights (breakfast at Central Market is only 5 minutes away!). The room was clean, comfortable and had a decidedly unique Italian style which added to the Florence experience. I've stayed in many hotels for both holidays and work - and this one stands out for me Would stay here again next time, and recommend to my family and friends

This is a very old property and because the pictures look authentic, this is why I chose it, but this property has not been restored ever. It's decorated nicely but the whole feel of it is old and there is a bad smell when you enter the building. Even the entrance key to get in is difficult. You have to be a magician to get in to the facility. It's just not practical. The mattress needs updating and you sink in the center of the bed- definitely not comfortable. We were also getting bitten by bugs and had to kill a spider that was crawling on us in bed.

This place is AMAZING! It is so cozy and clean and comfortable located in a safe neighborhood. All the major attractions in Florence are within walking distance which is a huge plus. The staff is so kind and helpful . She let us leave our luggage there because we got in earlier than check in time and they let us leave the luggage there after checking out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Florence.

The check in process was simple enough. The attendant was a friend of the owner. She was helpful. The room was not quite ready, but she messaged me when it was ready later. The room was cute and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. I appreciate the proximity to the duomo. The host also gave great recommendations for restaurants. You won’t go wrong with staying here!

Literally on the doorstep of all you need. Owner was lovely and overall decor of the rooms makes you feel like your in a room in Florence and not just another hotel room. Parking is at the end of the road and owner can point you to all the places you want to see

It was a really pleasant stay. The place was managed with a memorable colour and taste of Ulrike. She was very helpful and I had no difficulty getting to the unknown place for a tour bus. I'll definitely come back to the Relais Grand Tour when I visit Florence next time. I already miss it.

This property has a very cool style, and the service Ulrike provided was great. She provided help with anything needed. I liked the proximity to all the main sights, and it was a quick walk to the central market for a great variety of food at good prices, as well as anything you would want to buy. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed the location of the hotel and the host was very sweet! The place had a unique touch to it and it was not a B&B (had some coffee and biscuits in the room but that was about it). I loved that the host offered local tips and was super responsive whenever we needed anything! My one complaint is that some of the things were a smidge outdated, but I also think it was going for that look. It was also SUPER hot but that really wasnt their fault, just Italy in July :]! The location was great and I would stay here again just for the host and how helpful she was!

The stay was superb! The owner met us upon arrival and provided helpful information for our trip. She was very friendly and welcoming. Each room is uniquely designed with a beautiful Italian style. We stayed there the first and last night in Florence bc we traveled and stayed in Cinque Torres in between. The owner let us keep our extra luggage there so we didn’t have to lug it around. We highly recommend this hotel!
