The location.
Pros:Great location and spacious.
Cons:The place was old, needed a good paint, kitchen utensils etc were minimal, barely sufficent for preparing a meal. There are absolutely no basics, you need to bring everything. No welcome pack (tea, coffee, sugar, milk), one garbage bag for 4 nights, the chopping board needed throwing out. The tea towel was thin and small, and by day three, the dish cloth had disintegrated, and there wasn't a replacement. There is a microwave and no microwave dishes. I've stayed in many apartments throughout Australia and the world, and this would be close to the worst. The standard needs to be lifted. Definitely won't be recommending this unit.

The bathroom could do with an upgrade. The vanity cupboards and drawers were damaged.

Specious apartment, close to the beach
Shower screens were not cleaned, tea and coffee were not available

Location was good, nice easy walk to town and I was doing a course for work which was not too far to drive to.
Everything was clean and comfortable with cooking utensils and facilities clean and functional that was all I needed.
The only thing I would say is I got a little cold at night and a bigger warmer blanket would have been good but I did pinch an extra blanket from the closet in second room. My son and friend came to join me for one night and I told them to bring a blanket just in case they got cold.

Great location, under ground parking, good value for money
A bit dated on the interior which meant things like the taps were hard to turn off. In the twin bedroom, the fan and main light kept turning themselves on during the night which was creepy and really disturbed my sleep.

I liked that it was on the ground floor so you got an extra large balcony.
There were fans in the bedroom and living area to keep the temperature down
I liked the aircon.
On arrival I was greeted by a 3 inch cockroach running from under the bed to the wardrobe.
The same cockroach (I am telling myself it was the same one) was also spotted running across the loungeroom floor from the tv unit to the couch I was sitting on. We arrived home late one night to find it wandering over our fruit on the kitchen counter as well. A fumigation is in order.
The kitchen was not clean. The roasting pan in the oven hadn't been washed and still had blobs of melted cheese and fat on it from who knows when.
We found 2 coffee packets and 2 teabags in the kitchen, but no sugar or milk. I can forgive the milk, but when you are only staying a couple of nights, your not going to bring your own sugar.
The dishwasher is faulty. We put it on when we went to bed and it was still going strong on the wash cycle 7hrs later with no sign of finishing. We had to leave the items in the dishwasher as we didn't know what do to with them.
For me, the bed was very stiff.

Our apartment was quite large. Full kitchen and laundry and a large veranda. It was all well kept and clean. Had everything we needed as our last night on the Gold Coast and was a bit closer to the airport. It is quite dated and a bit tired but, we were well looked after and it was easy to contact staff, who were happy to accommodate our request of an earlier book in so we had somewhere to put our luggage. Beautiful walks and beach very close by.
The size of the apartment.
The near new appliances.

The apartment was spacious with a large balcony. Secure underground parking was good. It also had good basic range of appliances including a dryer. outside presentation looked nice.
The apartment was outdated and a bit noisy. It did not look very clean. Bed linen did not look fresh and towels and bathroom mat were old and stained. Lounge was stained and coffee table was damaged. Bathroom window had no lock and we did not feel very secure. Bins were dirty under garbage bags and we also had a big cockroach in the room.

Location was good for what we wanted and the pool was lovely.
The apartment while not filthy, was not dusted/cleaned down too well. Finding mouldy knives and forks in the dishwasher was not nice and it smelled. It would be very nice to have some complimentary tea or coffee as we were only staying 2 nights, we didn't bring any with us. For longer stays I understand you could purchase your own, but for such short stays, it would have been a real convenience.
