Great cottage, really clean, great location
Noisy fridge in kitchen & being open plan, heard it a couple of times through the night. Nothing can really be done to rectify this.

Amazing location
Easy to find
Always ALWAYS warm in the house
Every kind of facility you need in the kitchen, bathroom etc
The cottage itself was a homely environment
Very good hosting
Incredible walks for the dog
Shower sooo powerful
Unfortunately, both the bed and the couch were not very comfortable.
Couldn’t control the heat from the cottage as it was controlled by the main house.
4.2
Nice and quite, not far from shops and pub
Heating could have been better, but soon sorted.

Fantastic Rural Location. Beautiful Views. Property Spacious Downstairs.
Clean and Tidy.
Clean Towels And Bedding With Spare Pillows Etc if Needed.
(Extra Toilet Rolls Provided!)
Lovely Long Window With View in Kitchen Area.
Easy Contact with Cottage Owners if Needed.
Noisy Fan From Fridge Area. Kept Coming:On/Off Throughout Day and Night- Which did Disturb Us throughout The Stay.
Woke up Early Every Morning as Blinds Above Bed on Velux Windows Aren’t Dark Enough to block Light -Out….Need Black-Out Blinds.
Also Dog Woke up Early as No Blind on Main Door Window and Long-Side Window.
Then Owners Border Terrier Dog Appeared at The Window which Set my Dog Off Which I had to get up Early for to Settle back Down.
(This Also made me feel wary when I had my Dog outside The Property thinking Are The Owners Dogs Going to Re-Appear Again).
Also Need Blind on The Long/Door window for Privacy on a Night.
Need A Blind for Small Back Kitchen Area Window as Again in the Morning Lighting up The Kitchen Too Early….Which Wakes Dog up Early than Usual and for Privacy on a Night.
Also On Night-time-Pitch Black so could Do With Some Solar Lights To See The Path To The Cottage.

Lovely dog friendly cottage. Had everything that we needed to escape our busy lives. Shame about the power cut but Simon (host) was very helpful.

Location excellent, very private.. Cottage very clean. Nice outdoor seating area.
1. Velux window directly above bedhead had no covering / blind, meaning that light would stream in from early morning. Owners came to sort out but only solution offered was putting tape fabric over window, this did not really block out light and fell down the day after. I then taped up magazine pages which also fell down and so the owner had to come again and tape up for a second time. We were surprised that a new blind could not be fitted prior to or even during our stay, not a lot to ask when paying £95 per night to stay in the cottage !
2. Fridge / freezer made very loud humming noises throughout the night which, due to the open plan design, travelled directly upstairs and adversely affected our sleep. We had to buy earplugs the next day.
3. Oven and hob awkward to use, no instructions provided.
4. Bedroom very restricted in height due to eaves, made the bedroom very cramped. Would be difficult for a tall person to move around.
