We were able to visit family and attend events up and down the Peninsula. Everything seemed to be close to this location. Took the train up to SF to enjoy a Giants game as well from Palo Alto station. Also a great part across the street for those with littles. Swimming pool was a nice treat for our kids and the house has a lot of space to spread out after the long day!

We have a grandchild in San Carlos who was celebrating a birthday and preschool graduation. Her cousins, aunts and uncles joined us to congratulate Norah! The house is very close to the Palo Alto zoo.

Nice house , very clean, Owner communicated very well during our stay there. We had a few toilet issues, but they were fixed very fast, we were very impressed with that. We stayed here while my hubby had Major life threatening Surgery, so coming home at the end of the day with Me and our Son was comforting. The house was cozy. We ended up staying an extra week, and the Owners were fast in responding to emails…. The beds were cozy, and nice at the end of the day. The house is on a super busy street, and was noisy, but every street in Palo Alto is busy.. we backed in every night to be able to exit better than backing out. Yard was very nice, wish, under the circumstances, we could have enjoyed that more, but spent time daily at the hospital. What I really loved too, is the washer/dryer in the garage, so nice to come home with clean clothes. Hosts provided laundry soap, which was one less thing to worry about. Thanks for a nice stay! Would I rent it again? Yes I would. We did enjoy a nice Thanksgiving dinner when hubby got out of the hospital turkey night. One happy man to be out…

We needed a place to stay while a family member was having surgery at Stanford. It was an easy drive there and affordable for our group. Comfortable and clean place to stay with the comforts of home.
Thank you for a comfortable stay.

The home is generally as represented: it’s clean, functional and well equipped, though not fancy. Outside BBQ area and deck are nicely done and comfortable.
Large kitchen and lots of common space made it very comfortable to have a family reunion.

for space it was fantastic, decent layout where people could do a couple things. Only minor quibble was the number of things not working (neither fireplace...not that we were going to have one going in September), the tub upstairs, the garbage disposal...some thought the pool was supposed to be heated...but those things aside, it was everything it was supposed to be. We had space, were able to make and eat the meals there and get to the park quickly. very nice.

We had a great time staying at this house. There were “quirks” but overall it was pretty lovely. The location is excellent, and the pool was a treat. Plenty of space to spread out too. The beds and bedding were very clean but simple. The dishware was homey. The ice machine and hot tub were broken. Overall it felt like a nice stay at grandma’s house, which worked fine for us. It was nice to have everyone together in Palo Alto, and we appreciate the owners for sharing their home.

The process of renting was very easy, communication was fast and reliable. The home looks small from the front but the rooms and big and 3 bathrooms was great for my family. My mother loved the home so much! Washer and dryer access was also great. The only thing I will critique is the pool. The water was cold and the owner was not able to warm it up for us. I think that if it was working, we would have been able to enjoy the pool more. Overall this home was great and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend and we hope to be back some day!

We stayed here during our cohort gathering, we are all in a masters program for counseling together. It was the perfect spot for us. The house has a wonderful cozy feeling and is set up so nicely to hangout and be together. The kitchen is well equipped as well.
The master bedroom is very well insulated and I slept great while the rest of the crew stayed up till the wee hours of the morning laughing and telling stories. It was perfect for us! It rained all weekend so we didn't get to use the outside areas but they were beautiful none the less.
Very well located as well.
