About this house rental
This unique property is a secure, safe cliff top residence with privacy, well away from any road noise. The address has an extensive modern home with spacious grounds, deck and patio areas leading out to a large pool & spa, all with breathtaking uninterrupted views of Rangitoto Island and the Hauraki Gulf.
Framing the outlook are mature Pohutukawa trees, with visiting Kereru, Tui or Kotare, just so right for New Zealand, lending shade to positions where decisions can be thought through or complete relaxation achieved with your favourite book.
Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own entry to the patio and pool. The main bedroom at one end of the house has an ensuite; the other end with 2 bedrooms caters for children or guests and has a bathroom, separate toilet and attached large playroom.
The kitchen dining area is roomy and warm, designed just right for informal family entertainment.
There is also a more formal lounge with a stone wood feed fireplace, but hey nothing needs to be formal unless you feel the need to entertain business colleagues.
Yes it is a short walk down the driveway around the corner to the beach which is about 350m from the letterbox.
5 minutes drive to Milford and Takapuna shopping centers’, 15 minutes to the Auckland CBD, what more do you need!

“Rather disappointing” because the outside area had been neglected and did not bear much resemblance to some of the glossy photographs on the website. The host has subsequently assured us that he had arranged for new garden furniture, for instance, to be delivered several weeks ago but this had not happened. Elsewhere there were minor problems associated with the lack of adequate property maintenance. These have been drawn to the attention of the host and when they are remedied the property will be worthy of the magnificent view.

We had an extended stay here for 3 Women's World Cup games. The house is in a beautiful location, on a bluff overlooking the South Pacific. Easy walks to Campbells Bay, Mairangi Bay, and Murrays Bay. The owner and property mgr were very responsive from the booking process through to a strange on-site electrical issue that was resolved quickly. Due to the length of our stay, we made dinner at home on several occasions. The kitchen is well appointed and made this easy. Uber rides into downtown are about 20 mins. Overall, a great place to stay. We would be happy to stay again.

Stayed 8 nights in January. Fantastic house - large, quiet, brilliant views out over the Gulf. It felt like our own private mini-resort. Pool and spa got a lot of use by everybody. We actually didn't get out much on the sunny days, because there wasn't anywhere else in Auckland we'd rather have been! While it seems pricey by NZ holiday-hire standards, the value is ok; especially when considered against what you pay for family-sized accommodation at most Pacific Island hotel resorts. Plenty of shopping and eating-out options in the local bays. It was hard to leave.
