Great size for 13 & location is fab for Truro city centre & beaches.
There is another small holiday let attached to the side of the property of which was no where mentioned on the listing meaning we were surprised to see other guests and all squeeze onto a driveway. and we were then sharing a drive way which wasn’t practical with 13 of us alone in the main house. It also wasn’t clear as to whether it was a shared garden or not & did the other people/family also have access to the space? A tricky one with small children and strangers next door. The two properties are merely separated by a thin, locked internal door and so it meant you could hear everything! If it is listed to sleep 13, there shoul

Just got home from a weekend stay with my family for my 40th birthday and unfortunatly there was a few things that let this property down . When we arrived we had a look around the property which on first glance was perfect for wjat we had wanted but on further inspection the kitchen was awfully dirty cups, glasses and cutlery were dirty so we had to put these through the dish washer and the kitchen counters were also not clean so we ended up just cleaning the whole kitchen . Also when we arrived we noticed another car already on the drive as it turns out there is an annex type buiilding attached to the house which is not avertised noticed that there was a door in the down stairs bedroom which led to said annex but the lock was removed so they couldnt gain access how ever the noise from said annex was loud and there was a strong smell of cannabis in there which led to 2 of our guests having to sleep in the games room on the sofa and floor . Host was contacted and did offer to send cleaner round and offered a nights refund if we left , but as explained to her that wasnt posible after that ive heard nothing . The rest of the property was fine for what we required but had we known we would be sharing the garden with other guests we would not of rented this property as we h ad young children with us and didnt feel overly comfortable with having unknown people around as was the whole point of wanting a sucluded WHOLE property .

Clean, spacious, well equipped & family home atmosphere.
One thing to say is that the house number is not easily visible.

Nice house with spacious rooms incl. games area, a separate lounge and also a dining area within the kitchen. Lots of towels available, a utility room, 2 fridges + well stocked for kitchen utensils and also garden furniture. Being on a main road, the property is not quite free of car noise in the garden although it didn’t really bother us. Some updates and minor repairs would further add to ‘score’ (such as the downstairs bathroom shower door etc.) We also had neighbours in an annexe which was unexpected (and rather loud for those of us in the downstairs bedroom). We would have appreciated being aware of this.

BEWARE of the trap of this property. You have to take a video and pictures before you touch anything and before you leave the property. The host Jen needs to improve her communication to the costumer and not even trying to reach out professionally. We’ve been accused of pulling the curtain holder and automatically charged my account of £50 without properly communicating with me. In which the damage was been there when we came and just been glued by blu tack. It was poorly fixed and handed to us as damage charge.
All and all the place is homely.
