Comfortable , good facilities , pub on doorstep with good food and in close proximity to shops .

Good location, free parking. Nice pub, lovely food, great in room facilities, nice and clean, would use again.
Just a bit of outside noise, it is a pub after all, probably smokers, didn't go on too late, maybe a bigger bed.

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff and a great breakfast
4.0
Nice comfortable room and a beer garden where we could sit in the sun. Fabulous food in the pub.
Lack of housekeeping not cleaned in 4days. Appears to be a staff shortage in the bar, one chap worked so hard.

Quiet, clean and and comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Nice touch having a fridge in the room. Good value. Location good for Clarks shopping Village.
The toilet cistern was loose so care was needed when flushing the toilet.

Great location. Affordable. Friendly and helpful staff.
Bathroom smelt very musty. Limited breakfast menu.

Good food pleasant atmosphere, staff very efficient.
Beer garden needs a good tidy up.

Onsite parking and a friendly welcome. Lovely quiet room with a nice bed and duvet. Pub food was delicious and breakfast was good. Location just a short walk from the high street. Good WiFi. Would certainly return.
Staff at breakfast seemed a little overwhelmed with dealing with orders and delivering food and setting up for the carvery. We had to drop our keys through the letterbox as all of the pub doors were locked when we left. Not sure the bathroom extractor fan was working properly as there was a bit of a musty smell.

The food at the inn was excellent.
The service was great, and the staff most helpful.

Loxley was extremely welcoming and very helpful during our stay. The food in the restaurant really was very good and very reasonable. Excellent value all round. Bed was comfy, mugs were a good size and the fridge was a bonus. I would come again.
Shower cubicle a little tired - a re-grout would solve that.

The breakfast orange juice was not from concentrate. There was a good range of tea, coffee and chocolate drinks in the room and biscuits. The Wi Fi worked well. The shower was powerful. Flannels were provided. Bed was comfortable.
The breakfast menu was confusing, made it appear that there was an option of Full English Breakfast, or Cereal, when in fact you could have both, we never worked out if we could have had toast and marmalade as well. Only one hot drink was provided. The room hanging area only had 2 hangers. The toilet did not flush very well. It was July, but there was a full winter duvet on the bed.

Breakfast was very basic.Location was good.
Plug in wash hand basin wasn’t working.Cigarette butts everywhere outside in garden area.Garden not kept very tidy.

The lad running the hotel, bar ect on his own was freindly and helpfull but over run with doing it all him self
The room was very basic, clean linen but the fridge was dirty, the shower has mold on all the corners from top to bottom, the WC system is coming off the wall

Pub is well positioned , only 5 minutes walk to Clarks shopping village, and buses to Glastonbury & Wells, Jake the young guy that basically runs the place on his own, he works his socks off and can't do enough for you, Whatever he's paid it's not enough!!!
Bathroom could do with a bit of a upgrade

It was a bit basic and dated

The rooms were in a separate block at the back of the pub and so were quiet. The tea and coffee making facilities were good and the cooked breakfast was excellent.

Jake was very efficient, hardworking and friendly. Good beer in the pub and the food was very nice for our evening meal. Great value, as the price also included a perfectly adequate breakfast as well. Room was spacious and dog friendly.
