Please note: periodically, Belize, along with other areas of Central America, The Caribbean, Mexico, and USA, will experience periods of Sargassum Seaweed washing ashore. I really cannot say enough about our stay at Noodles. On our last day, we commented to each other that I didn’t think the reviews did this place justice at all.
The location of the house is honestly perfect. There are many grocery stores- small and large - very nearby. We chose to go most often to Caribbean chicken- off the advice of the locals. Prices were good and the meat was great. This part of the island also have cute coffee shops, fresh bakeries, fruit stands - without going all the way into town. But if you want to- you are there in 15-20 minutes. The drive is fun and easy.
Directly next door is stacks- where Robin, a great bartender can serve your late night drinks. That was fun!
We also enjoyed Island wonder- a sea side bar for great whole fish!
We loved the pool, bocci ball, bag games and swimming off the Peer.
Every day- Iris checked in with us, answered every text within minutes, ensured my laundry was done. Never missed a beat. Ed and lisa, even tho they have iris are equally as attentive to any other needs you have. And are right nearby.
Lastly, Issac, the little boy on the property- was a special treat!
Don’t hesitate to book!

We had a great time staying at Noodles retreat. We were a large group and the house accommodated all of us with a little bit of extra room. Ed one of the owners was very helpful making sure to get the golf carts and taxis for us. Iris was really helpful in telling us where to go for groceries and such.
The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was great and the little kids enjoyed it a lot. We didn’t use the kayaks because we were too busy but they were there. There isn’t a “beach” into the water but you can get in from the pier. The internet worked well and we even watched a show or two on a rainy day.
The owners do have the property managers come every day and do a check in, which I didn’t know ahead of time and caused some of our group to feel a little managed. It would have been good to know ahead of time.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved San Pedro!!

First time our family visited San Pedro island. Ed, Lisa, Iris greeted us at the house upon arrival, explained clearly about the house, recommended good restaurants. Excellent hosts- quick respond, helped us to resolve issue with golf cart and excursion. They helped to arrange golf cart delivery, transportation from/to airport, .
Everyday Iris & her family go extra miles to help us with everything we need with the house so we can feel like home (light up bbq pit, right boat for excursion, etc). House is very spacious. AC is very cool in each room. Big kitchen, and dinning area. We loved the house, very cleaned, good beds, nice pool,. Big patio & deck upstairs. A safebox is in upstairs bedroom. We feel safe here. Next door neighbors also beach rental, nice & friendly! Weather was hot & humid during our stay so pool was awesome! This island is not like white sand beach in Pensacola! Secret beach is 50-60mins by golf cart, and road is bumpy & dusty. Nice beach, no sand, you stepped a few concrete steps to go down to water, clear water but a lot of water bugs that stick to you. They don’t sting or bite. We used Ambergris Dive company for "island day tour"& intro dive-awsome! About food-We booked catering 3 nights before we arrive, but when we arrived we found out( from Ed) so many places that you can eat out much cheaper &variety of food too ($20-$30usd).Definitely stay here again.Bring bugs spray(alot mosquitos in town),use mineral sun block to protect the reefs &the sea animals.

Iris, Lisa and Ed were awesome hosts, thanks guys. We had a family scuba trip with 5 of our adult children. The dive company picked us up every morning at the dock and we used the outside shower to rinse us and our gear off, it was super convenient. Everyone had a room with AC and enough bathrooms for everyone. I particularly liked that this house had an inside stairway, several properties have an outside stairway. The house is about 20 minutes south of San Pedro and felt safe and quiet. Our kids went out every night to "Stax" and "Drink and Drive" which are a few minutes away. We tried kayaking but with the trade winds blowing onshore, we just paddled into the wind until we were tired, jumped in the water and floated back to the dock with the kayak (there is a lot of boat traffic so we stayed with the kayak and kept an eye out). The diving is great, the Blue Hole is geologically amazing, Hol Chan night dive is dreamy (lots of rays in the moonlight), other dives had great visibility, health coral and lots of sea creatures. Iris took care of our every need, thanks! (Iris-2, Lisa -1, Ed-1 :D )

We received the best advice, support, communication and guidance from Ed. The owners of the property handled reservations, discussed amenities in detail, offered assistance in every aspect of our trip from renting a golf cart, to provisioning, from airport transfers to arranging a bbq. Their attention to detail and communication was second to none!

Our group (10 of us) really enjoyed Noodles Retreat. We did not know what to really expect as none of us had been to the Island before.
Ed, Lisa, and Iris met us as we arrived at the house and helped us understand the lay of the island. It was very helpful as San Pedro is a bit different than most vacay spots.
Lisa helped Set up the Golf Cart Rentals so they were there when we arrived (very helpful and convenient...ok and a lot of fun to drive around all week).
Ed was very helpful setting up logistics to and from airport and recommended some great excursions.
Iris was awesome and made sure we had anything we needed very fast. She is a rock star.
They made our stay very enjoyable and they were all very easy to reach at all times.
Per the property itself...the house stayed nice and cool which is always a plus on a warm island. The upstairs porch is amazing....perfect view of the pool and ocean....you can't beat having morning coffee or an evening cocktail and enjoying the breeze.
It was also really cool that they have their own dock so any snorkeling/diving excursions simply pick you up at your back door.
We had a really nice time and this place is very easy to recommend to others.

We had an amazing time at Casa Lisa. Ed and Lisa were awesome hosts, and a great resource for the area. They provided a lot of information for food and excursions. The sunset snorkeling cruise they recommended was just incredible. They picked us up right on the pier. They helped to set up transportation, golf cart rental, etc. Iris,, Eldon, and their kids were also awesome whenever we needed something at the house. Belize is so beautiful and this location was just perfect. The view from the porch and beach are stunning. It is so quiet and relaxing. The house set up worked great for us and our blended family of 6 kids (and one fiance). Plenty of space and clean. It was just perfect. Would definitely recommend staying here. It truly exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

We arrived and was greeted by the owners and house keeper who lives on site. Very friendly and helpful.
We were surprised that we were a bit further from town then was posted.
The property was beautiful and dock amazing. Having massages out at the end was incredible !!
The owners helped get everything set up before we got there ! Very efficient
Unfortunately I got my wallet stolen from the house when we were at the pool on the property
The owners were helpful putting out a notice on Facebook to island residents to help locate it.
We received confirmation that it was found and to meet them at the police station
Ed the owner was kind and went with us. I did receive my wallet , my money was taken
Unfortunately, there was not any sort of credit or help recouping my travel money
I’m told there were cameras put in outside the property
Overall the property experience was fantastic , which was part of my surprise that there wasn’t an action taken to help the hit from getting my wallet stolen from their property.

This was an outstanding stay and Home. Beautiful location, oceanfront, dock, breeze....complete. Our Hosts Ed & Lisa were very responsive setting this up and a delight to meet and work with. Caretakers Eldon & Iris were wonderful and attentive. Home was clean, well maintained and complete. Even the Bonefish off the Dock were happy! So were we!
Thank you all! We'll be back. Recommend this highly!

The house was as advertised and the hosts and on-site property manager (separate house) were very attentive. We had 5 people so each had their own room (some with extra beds). It's across from Hol Chan, so 3.5 miles from downtown San Pedro. Takes 15 - 20 minutes by golf cart.

We had an amazing time at Noodles Casa Lisa. There were 12 of us, 7 Adults, 5 kids. The house, pool, beach and everything were perfect. Iris was amazing the entire time and was accommodating to all our needs. If you are looking for a place a little away from town but not too far, this is the perfect place.

We had a wonderful stay at Noodles Casa Lisa in San Pedro, Belize! Our family of 8 loved having our own rooms and our own bathrooms during our extended stay with Ed and Lisa.
Ed and Lisa were wonderful hosts, very accommodating and communicative. They were able to arrange just about anything we needed while on the island and had solid restaurant recommendations. We would stay with them again anytime!

Our family of 5 spent the week at Casa Lisa. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The dock was great. The pool was great. The hosts were super attentive and made most all of our arrangements for activities, transportation etc. They personally greeted us upon our arrival and got us oriented. We are VRBO hosts ourselves and learned a thing or two from these fine folks.

We visited San Pedro with 2 other couples in search of R&R and boy did we find it here. Ed & Lisa were SUPER helpful and communicative leading up to our stay, they helped us coordinate a ride from the airport, massages on the pier, reef fishing and a private chef to come in home and cook us dinner. We felt very comfortable in the home, everything was clean and functional, the pool and beach area are pristine. They have staff that live in front of the property, although you wouldn't be able to tell. Iris was extremely kind and helpful during our stay, helping us with some laundry and getting additional water to the house. We can't say enough about this property and can't wait to come back for another stay. Thanks to Noodles Retreat for a memorable trip with memories that will last a lifetime!

Everything was amazing. The managers of the house were amazing and attentive to helping with anything we needed. The owners were friendly and very welcoming. We will be back in the future and loved everything about San Pedro!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel our originally planned family Christmas trip to Peru and had a little more than a week to reschedule. Casa Lisa at Noodles Retreat had just recently gone on-line so it was one of very few properties available at such short notice and during a very popular time. We were fortunate it was open and able to accommodate our family with three grown children.
Lisa and Ed were wonderful. They arranged for us to be picked up via taxi at the airport and were there to greet us at the house. Throughout the vacation, they were great resources particularly regarding excursions and activities. One day, Ed arranged for an amazing day of fishing and diving for conch, followed by a beach barbecue of fresh ceviche. That was definitely a highlight for us. I would highly recommend utilizing their assistance with this and wish that we had had more time to research and plan the various options that Lisa had provided to us prior to our arrival because they book up. The house is lovely and located directly on the beach with a pier that is utilized by several neighbors throughout the day. Although the water from the pier was beautiful to look at, it was not necessarily good for swimming due to rocks and seaweed (and the mention of water crocodiles in the area at night made it even less inviting). Therefore, we spent a lot of time around the pool which was clean and refreshing.
There is a lovely family that lives in a separate building on the property and is available to assist with any issues or questions. We absolutely loved Iris (the caretaker) and she even offered to do our laundry for us one day because she felt badly that they had been away the first three days and we were unable to access the washer/dryer. The house had most of the amenities we needed. However, we definitely missed having a washer/dryer, dishwasher and outdoor grill.
I would say that the one downside to Casa Lisa is the distance from town. Although it's located at mile marker 3.5, this trip often took 30-35 minutes due to the "bone jarring" potholes that were challenging in the golf cart at both slow and fast speeds. However, this may have been due to the three days of torrential rain that we had causing the roads to be extremely muddy and treacherous. Not much you can do about the weather. Hope to experience Belize again during a sunny week!! Overall, it was a great family vacation and stay at Noodles Retreat!!
