GREAT BEACHES
Getting Around
Perfectly situated between two of Maine's best beach towns -- Kennebunkport and Biddeford. There are several beaches and beach styles -- from big waves to quiet and secluded coves -- to choose from.
Then, there’s the Old Orchard Beach Pier. First built in 1898, the Pier once marched more than 1,800 feet out into the bay. It hosted restaurants, shops and even a casino where Frank Sinatra once crooned. Storms eventually broke down the old Pier; the newer one is slightly shorter. But it, too, includes places to eat, drink and shop, all of them above the waves.
Back on shore, check out Palace Playland, the Old Orchard Beach amusement park. Here, you can scare yourself on the big-kid rides, play for tickets on the arcade games or watch the waves below as you sit atop the Ferris wheel.
More than anything, OOB is a local’s town. Stroll the Old Orchard Beach boardwalk, enjoy small, local shops and stop by Old Orchard Beach restaurants, local bars and local hotels and motels. Pick up a sandwich, shop for a t-shirt, sip a beer or grab some cotton candy. People have been strolling these same streets and enjoying these places for generations.
GREAT FOOD
And what about great food?
You’re in a excellent spot for that too! In fact, Arundel’s neighbor, Biddeford, has just been named America’s Next Great Food City according to Food and Wine Magazine. It has over 25 great experiences to back that claim up too. Southern Maine is full of food adventures from out of the way lobster shacks to world-class dining experiences.
More about the amenities
Pool with waterfalls, fire bar, fire pits and a 6,000 square foot community center and clubhouse with a fitness center

The house was immaculate! This was our annual girlfriend’s getaway for three 70+ ladies. We were situated close to everything and the property manager was wonderful. For future reference please provide enough washcloths, tissues and garbage bags. This property is perfect for any type of getaway.

Father and sons trip, 4 adults, plenty of room. The location is perfect, in the middle of everything for many different types of activities. The house was super clean, with all complete accommodation and more. Will come back for sure and we are highly recommending

The house was newer and very clean. It was in a good location to Portland and Kittery. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, conveniently located property with great amenities. Nice extra touches like beach towels and gas grill. Highly recommend!!
Good to know: this VRBO requires a background check after committing to the property. I may have missed this in the listing description because I was surprised that the background check requirement came by text after the initial payment was made.

What a beautiful home. It was very clean and appeared to be brand new. It was decorated very well and has everything you could possibly need. We also sent a few days at the pool, which is outstanding. I Would suggest a book at the property with any expectations from the owner such as garbage, clean up, what to do with linens etc. We did receive an exit email but it’s nice to know ahead of time. Overall EXCELLENT property.

My family and I stayed here for a week in July. The cottage was very clean and spacious. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed using the community’s pool, game room and gym. The location is great-less than 15 minutes to beaches and dock square. Would definitely recommend!
