Please note that after the initial access has been provided by owner, you enter the condo with a code, and after that a fob is required to get in and out of the building. There is only 1 fob- if guests will be in and out at different times, that is to be planned by the guests.
Please note that there is no parking and if you do park (as some guests have) in the parking garage (as fob allows access), you will be towed and face a fine. There is paid street parking (free after 10pm) as well as parking lots available nearby.
Please note that losing the fob will incur a charge of $250.
Please note that any stains, secretions or damages will incur further costs.
Please turn lights off when not using the space.
Please do not wear shoes in home.
The main bathroom knob pops out when the shower is turned off (it can be alarming). You may put your hand over the knob to catch it and place it back.
Please note that when too many electrical devices are plugged in, the breaker may go out. Please turn off fans if wanting to use hair dryer, kitchen devices, Cpap machines, etc. Should the breaker go out, the panel is located in the primary bedroom (behind the door). Please open the panel, look to the right side, last switch by the reset button, swing from right to left (it will be in the middle, it will have to completely go left). When it is in the middle, it has tripped. Please reach out should you require support.
Kettle and Keriug - complementary coffee pods/instant coffee (may not accommodate longer stays).
Air Fryer in cupboard
Do not touch or take out plugs of the modem
Please note that the washing machine works. However, it can take quite some time, use at your own risk. Please note that it does make an obnoxiously loud noise. These are the washing machines that come with the unit. We are looking to replace. Thanks in advance for your patience.
Please note, and my sincerest apologies, the dishwasher is not in order at this time. Dish wash soap is provided with a drying mat in the cupboards. You're welcome to leave the dishes for the cleaners, as well.
There is a white binder on the TV stand - has recommendations, WiFi, garbage, etc.
Please respect the neighbours and the quiet times.
Please treat this space as if it is your own home. Please treat this space as if it is your own home. City of Vancouver has changed its rules. This is my primary residence. Therefore you will see clothes (tucked away) and some food in the fridge. I do my best to keep it separate for when I host.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment and it exceeded our expectations in every way!
The apartment was immaculate, impressively clean, and flooded with natural light, creating a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere. It provided the perfect haven for our party of four, offering ample space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the vibrant city.
The functional kitchen was a true highlight. Equipped with everything we needed, it allowed us to prepare meals effortlessly, adding a homey touch to our stay. The balcony was a delightful bonus, offering a peaceful retreat to enjoy a morning coffee or soak in the city views.
The availability of underground parking was a huge convenience, providing secure and hassle-free parking for our vehicle. The two bathrooms were both exceptional, each with its unique features. One featured a spacious and invigorating shower, while the other boasted a luxurious deep tub/shower combination - catering to every preference.
The only suggestion for improvement would be the availability of additional fobs. Having more than one would have made coordinating our group's activities a bit smoother, but it was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise flawless experience.
Overall, this VRBO apartment was a gem of a find.

First I will write the apartment, not the neighborhood.
The apartment is actually quite spacious, clean and modern. Everything you could need for your stay is there. No AC but if you open the bedroom windows and the patio door, you get a fantastic cross breeze. Great for a group of five or less.
Parking available downstairs in secure underground parking. Host was always quick to respond to any inquiries.
Now the neighborhood, is going to be like most downtown neighborhoods. Abundance of homeless/addicts. We had no problem walking from apartment to gastown. They really do not bother others on the street. But you can also Uber pretty much anywhere downtown for 10 bucks.
Would definitely stay again.

Very poor neighborhood but condo was very nice. Uncomfortable to walk around area with all the homeless. Very hard to avoid homeless but no pan handlers.

Very brand new inside, and had everything except a separate dryer machine. Other than 1 side of the street full of homeless, we could walk to downtown.

The apartment was very clean and well appointed. There is a pizza place just below w was east and delicious.

Good: The apartment was clean, fairly priced for its location, the owner let us drop off bags early and he delivered fans because there was no A/C and it was warm in the apartment. Bad: As other reviewers have noted, the initial access to the unit is illogical and difficult. Although the owner gives a code for the building access and access to the apartment's door, clients cannot even get to the apartment because the elevator requires the security fob to get to the correct floor...and the fob is locked in the apartment! The stairwell door to the apartment's floor is locked so that was not a viable work-around. We happened to get lucky and met a nice man who happened to have a key to the 5th floor stairwell door and he graciously walked up there with me and let me into the hallway. The apartment had multiple electrical issues and the kitchen sink food disposal unit didn't work. Calls and texts to the owner went unanswered until the next day because he was traveling. The owner should have an on-call manager during his absence. Initally, we ignored the advice of a hop on/off bus driver and walked from the apartment to Gastown. The direct route to Gastown takes you right through the homeless section of Vancouver and the situation there is pretty dire. It was a bit scary to walk through that and the open use of drugs. Take an Uber, Lyft or taxi.

The host was amazing and the unit was immaculate. So I feel bad about leaving a negative review. I'm just trying to help the next guest with proper expectations for their stay. The disappointments revolved around the rather large homeless population only two blocks away. I witnessed from only a few feet away some paramedics working on a row of homeless people who didn't appear to be breathing. It had the appearance of a group fentanyl poisoning event. I realize that historically Vancouver has had cooler temperatures which didn't require air conditioning. However with global warming it is probably time to upgrade. It was so hot that I had to sit on the balcony with no shirt on until after dark so that I could stay cool. It was impossible to sleep for several hours due to the need to keep the windows open and all of the urban noise including screaming ambulances and loud neighbors.

The space is amazingly beautiful. Very clean and very secure building. Easy to get to location. Had a little trouble getting into building but renter went above and beyond to fix the issue. Was afraid to walk around the neighborhood by myself because of overwhelming homeless population but was fine with a group.

The property was clean and just as described. We were two couples and so the two beds / two baths fit our needs well. The building has a great security procedure and as out of towners, we appreciated that. Some great restaurants within walking distance.
