Stay in this peaceful guesthouse and live like a true local in Vancouver. The guesthouse is self contained, clean and safe, with it's own private (keyless entry) entrance in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. There is free Wi-Fi and street parking available. It is conveniently located near public transportation (Rupert & 29th Ave skytrain stations), restaurants, coffee shops, banks and grocery stores.

We only stayed one night, very convenient location and very quiet. We were going to a concert and there was a perfect amount of space for the 6 of us to get ready. Only complaints are that the bedding(matress and pillows) was incredibly hard. To the point that we likely would have checked out early if we had booked for more than one night. And the lack of A/C.

This property was very clean, quiet and secure. It was also well-located. However, it was not comfortable. The only place to sit is the hardback kitchen chairs. The beds were very uncomfortable. There is no sofa, soft chair or TV. If your visit requires only a spot to sleep and eat breakfast, this place might be suitable. If, however, you require an occasional rest from activities, or a spot to relax after a busy day, this listing will not provide that.

Nice place to stay at if you're out and about during the day and need a place to shower and sleep (and eat). No communal room (except kitchen) and no TV. Owner was nice and attentive. Would stay again.

This was a convenient location for us close to bus lines but still relatively quiet. The suite is a laneway house separate from the main house which made it quite private and quiet. Everything was clean and tidy and adequately stocked. We didn't end up using the kitchen but it looked like it had the basics well covered. Perhaps some end tables by the beds would have been nice but we managed and didn't really mind. I would recommend this rental for anyone wanting a convenient yet quiet location with a nice degree of privacy.

Very clean, convenient and cozy location. Had no trouble checking in or catching transit to other parts of the city. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely stay here again!

It's a little lane house with everything you need to sleep and cook and there's WiFi. There's no entertainment center (tv /couch etc.) So if that's what you're looking for this isn't for you. We were gone most of the time, visiting and exploring so for us it was perfect.We enjoyed our stay. They also have a car recharger that they let us use and it made things so much easier for us. Communication with the owners was quick and effective.

First, when I reached out to the owner about early check in, he was very responsive. While the apt was clean and in order, I would would not stay here again, due to personal preference. It was not equipped for American standards. There as no coffee maker or toaster. Towels were awful. We were not close to any stores and very limited restaurants (walking distance). The beds were quite uncomfortable and had 3” ikea style mattresses. There was no sitting area to relax in after a long busy day. And no TV. If these things don’t bother u, by all means, this is a good choice. But boy did our backs hurt!

Quaint guesthouse in a cute neighborhood 4 of us in the 2 bedroom 1 bath was quite doable Only thing missing was a living room but we were so busy touring the city that it really wasn’t an issue

It was as advertised, but if I could do it again, I would've looked further and spent more money. This is a no frills place to sleep and eat. There's no living room, just a small dining table with 4 chairs. There's no microwave or dishwasher in the kitchen. The laundry machine works well. We saw a lot of small ants on the kitchen floor. There was no television set. The bedrooms were furnished with a bed, no bedside tables or closet space. The bathroom was good but the tub was deep and there were no support rails, so anyone with mobility issues, should not use the tub. Again, it was as advertised and it was on me to see what was there.

I liked this place. While not fancy it was serviceable. Generally overall it was great and not expensive. A great alternative to a hotel.

Clean and pleasant home close to the transit lines and where we needed to stay. Not much gathering space inside but the nice outdoor porch gave us a place to gather during the evening. Would stay again. Thank you!
