A good stopping off hotel en route to Ouistreham to catch a ferry. The hotel was clean and quiet and had a restaurant and free parking. Large comfortable bed and good bathroom. We have used this hotel previously and will continue to do so.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was of a good standard and eating outside was comfortable and relaxing.
The aircon in the bedroom was reasonable but didn't cope all that well with the high overnight temperatures.
7.0
Simple, but clean and tidy. Used twice now for convenience straight from the ferry.

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the highway. That’s really the only positive. We arrived at 1:45 after five hours of driving. All we wanted was a quick bite to eat at the restaurant which closed at 2:00 and they refused to seat us. The problem is that there is NOTHING around the hotel unless you get into your car and drive another 15 minutes—not 5 or 7 as we were told. No restaurants, no convenience store, no gas stations nearby. The location is virtually in a convoluted gated community—one way in and one way out. And the room amenities were very sparse. Also, the hotel caters to bus tours. If I had known that, I wouldn’t have booked here.

Very clean, quiet, good location for the motorway. Tea making facilities in the room a bonus.
Restaurant was not running during our stay. We only ever book hotels with a restaurant so it was most disappointing. Campanile or Booking.Com should inform would-be guests if the hotel restaurant is going to be closed before they take the booking. This is not the first time Campanile has done this. It will influence my choice of hotel company in future.

Staff stayed late to check us in after 11pm. Clean comfortable room. Good choice at breakfast. Close to a cycle path so could run in the morning. Great value stay
Nothing - you know what you are going to get with Campanile and this was a good experience

location and good breakfast for the price.
big change compared to year before! the small mattresses on wheels that was under the double bed were all removed (confirmed by staff) so if staying with one small child, one MUST book another room if you want the child to sleep in a bed. there was no child bed nor any good solution available to substitute the previously available bed on wheels.
sadly, It is unlikely that we will return due to the lack of this feature for years to come as there are no family room available, unless you’re willing to book two rooms.
