Great location lovely town good vibes

Lovely setting, really delightful staff, superb Sunday Lunch.
Everything was clean. Room was small but comfortable and nicely presented.
The en-suite was really very tiny... very little floor space or room to manoeuvre.

Confusing.
1 at day offered toast, 4 slices, croissants, cereal.
2nd and 3rd day s not offered any of the above.
Breakfast was otherwise excellent

Everything about it was lovely, the place, the staff and the food, and especially the manager who couldn’t do enough to help us and make our Tay as enjoyable as possible. 10 out of 10 definitely.
Nothing

Very cute wee hotel right by the Wye River. Comfy rooms and a pub and restaurant attached. Free and plentiful car parking. Enjoyed a bottle of wine at the pub and the breakfast next day was the highlight, slap up English breakfast and decent coffee.
Room slightly cramped but probably felt that way as we had massive bags. The room had a radiator but it was a really cold day so took ages to heat up, maybe a small space heater could be a good addition to rooms (or put radiator on earlier)

We loved absolutely everything about our stay! We had such a warm welcome, our room was beautiful and cosy and spotlessly clean with fresh deco and lovely attention to detail. The food was fantastic as was the service and the location is just lovely - right on the river, beautiful.
Absolutely nothing, honestly, it was a lovely place to stay and we’ll definitely book again
4.5
Lovely location, nestled between the town and the river - just a few minutes walk into the centre of town. The outdoor space overlooking the river looks great with the pizza ovens and bar; unfortunately it was raining, but I'd like to visit in the summer. Recently refurbished rooms and plenty of parking. Good selection of beers, food was excellent and the staff were great.
There were teething troubles with the new boiler/heating; when these things happen it's all about how these things are handled. The manager and other staff couldn't have been more helpful and professional in ensuring minimal impact on my stay..
The WiFi kept dropping out; as my mobile signal was also weak, it made phone calls frustrating.

Spotless room, excellent location, friendly staff and amazing breakfast.
Not a wide selection of lager.

Beautifully situated hotel overlooking the river surrounded by pathways which we walked. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. I would have liked more continental like choice which wasn’t an option. Staff were all so welcoming and helpful.
As above I would have liked cereal, fruit, yogurt as a self service option and more healthy option.

Beautiful location overlooking the River Wye.
Excellent breakfast. Really friendly and helpful staff
Bed a little small. Need to walk outside in the rain from the bedrooms to the main hotel.

Location, cleanliness, comfort. Everything seemed very new. Beautifully decorated.
Long wait at bar while several staff drying up and chatting.

Wonderful riverside site with plenty of outside seating short walk into town. Staff were charming. Rooms clean. Cooked breakfast excellent.
Our first room (5) was a tiny twin above the bar with an unusably small ensuite. The bar speakers were on the bar ceiling and the music came through from 0630 to 2300. The nice looking Pavilion restaurant was closed -staff shortage, leaving the pub restaurant limited menu. We moved to room 8 which was again small but clean fresh and with a river view

The Staff were friendly and really made our stay welcoming. Emma could not do enough for us, and the young wait staff worked hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I was particularly impressed with Darcy, a young waitress who was helpful and friendly. I can also highly recommend the Snowball cakes on the bar, which were made on site and had the most soft and delicious meringue!
The room, had no storage! It was aesthetically pleasing upon entering, but once you put your bags down you realised there were no drawers to store away anything, there was only one coat rack type device which was fine for my husband's shirts but everything else we had to live out of our bags. Plus, there was no towel rail in the bathroom, no hook on the door to hang the damp towels, nothing! We had to lay the towels over the radiator in the bedroom, which obviously wasn't on as it's summer and hope for the best.

Rooms very small and a lack of hot water for shower.

Beautiful location on River Wye with River walks. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Dinner was good, as was breakfast. Parking was good for the motorbikes. WiFi worked OK.
No hot water for shower on evening we arrived. Sorted by the morning. Room, while clean and comfortable, was small and the ensuite, particularly so.
