Perfect location! Close to the centre with car park. Good facilities. Very clean. Comfortable beds, good quality pillows, bed linen. Really liked the nice toiletries that were provided (we had a private bathroom).
The kitchen was spacious and well equipped with a nice sheltered patio.
It was nice and quiet at night ( in rooms at front and back).
The full length mirror in the bedroom (rare to have a mirror outside of the bathroom).
The mold on the inside of the windows.
We had a private bathroom but we were next door to the communal bathroom which meant a bit of noise. But we had a great night’s sleep in the comfy beds once everyone had finished in the bathroom.
The black out blinds could be better. I tried to wear a sleeping mask.

Clean rooms, nice kitchen and shared bathrooms.
Noisy neighbors fighting all night.

Very clean and welcoming, with free coffee and tea and a kitchen at our disposal. We appreciated the private, en suite bathroom.
The room for 4 was quite small and the beds were narrow, though comfortable.

We stayed here for 1 night midway between our 2 week trip. The have a washer and dryer which was great at this point in our trip. There is a communal kitchen with a giant coffee machine which was wonderful and there was a wonderful hiking trailhead just down the street. The hike takes you high above the town and then ends at the other end of an adorable little town beside the fjord.
Nothing!

Very impressed with the cleanliness of this accommodation both in bedroom and bathroom.
Good location.
Slightly larger room.

The guesthouse was well-equipped. It had a coffee machine, all the kitchen ware, dishwasher, washing machine, games and very big common area which was very convenient. The owner was very helpful, too. The room and linen were really spotless clean. 10/10 recommended.

The view from the room was amazing, mountains and waterfall! The room was big, the bed comfy. There was a sink in the room and a big closet. The bathroom was really nice, felt like "normal" bathroom at home. The kitchen was also very clean and had a lot of supplies with free coffee/tea/cacao (highly recommend!).
WiFi connection was not the best in the room, even with the connection specified to the room.

The property is very nice and the most comfortable guesthouse/hostel we have ever stayed. The kitchen and dining area was large enough to share. Almost all of the guests were very respectful and courteous regarding noise, etc. I was glad to have the opportunity to wash laundry without any extra cost. There was a back patio, but it was too windy/chilly to enjoy. We were comfortable staying here with our 2 small children.
Something in the yard for children to do would have been an improvement!

Clean, close to center of town and good walks, staff easily available by phone, easy self check in, nice kitchen, lots of resources and information available for the trip, good value.

Great shared kitchen facilities, clean comfortable room, easy self check in

Clean, comfortable, and the proximity to town was a nice bonus!

Easy check in after hours, comfy bed and room on the ground floor (yay no stairs). The kitchen was great - very well equipped. Loved Seydisfjordur!
Nothing.

Laundry on site was very convenient in the middle of my trip
Shared kitchen can be noisy when others burn toast and set of smoke alarms. 😊

Location is great. Clean rooms and facilities.

The location and view were wonderful.
Not sure why we were asked to remove our shoes at the front door other than the convenience of the cleaning staff. We thought it odd and unnecessary.

Clean and modern. Well situated.

It was a wonderful experience at the Guesthouse. The rooms are very clean. Staff is very pleasant. Kitchen is very well stocked to prepare breakfast and meals. Free tea and coffee. You can use the washer and dryer for free. It was nice to meet people from other countries. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would stay again.
No window coverings for the day. Our room was facing the road. However we weren't there for long.

The common area is definitely exceeded my expectation, the lounge, kitchen, and they have free laundry unit which is I needed so much especially after travelling midway of my 14-day trip. Although we booked the room with shared bathroom, but guess what? I have one washroom w/o shower right next to me on one side, and the other w/c with shower on the other side. Never have issue to wait for my turn going to bathroom;) Kitchen and common room is such a good size, love meeting with other guests gather there for sharing experiences. Love the premium coffee machine, and they even have hot cocoa choice for my son!

Our room was spacious with a great bathroom and the bed was the best we slept during our trip. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare something to eat. It was a plus to have a laundry with washer and dryer.
Nice space well organized and sparkling clean.

Nice shared kitchen, rooms clean

We stayed mostly in tourist cottages and I was a little concerned about staying in a guesthouse with kids, but this was perfect for us. The rooms are well-designed and the kitchen is fabulous, enough so that we lingered over coffee to play checkers and just enjoy the calm. We stayed at 10+ places in Iceland and this was the only one with a washer AND a dryer, so it's perfect for anyone who is staying in the country longer and needs a mid-trip laundry refresh. I believe it was fully booked the night we stayed but the shared facilities never felt crowded at all.
