Bouwval

Geboekt op booking.com Nieuwestraat 14, echter is dit nog een bouwval op dit adres, voormalig studentenhuis. Dus nooit verhuurt. Hoe kunnen er goede reviews zijn voor de accomodatie?. We schrokken ons rot van de dichtgetimmerde ramen, open gevel. Nergens werd de bouw kenbaar gemaakt. Dagelijks van 9.00-16.00 uur bouwwerkzaamheden zelfs in het weekend. Eindelijk kwam de hostess en werden we geplaatst op nr 18, waar 2 loeiende airco's tegen de slaapkamer muur staan en de boven buren mbt geluid in je woonkamer staan, houten plafonds. Toen naar een app op 1ste verdieping, dat de helft kleiner was. Zwembad vd oorspronkelijke boeking kon niet worden gebruikt vanwege bouwvakkers, het gedeelde zwembad vd achterburen gaat ook gerenoveerd worden (waren op aan het meten) dus dadelijk ook niet bruikbaar. Niet aan te raden, voor langere tijd niet. Die verbouwingen duren nog wel een hele tijd

Good location but disappointing

Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location at walking distance from many attractions.

While nicely decorated, the apartment is very dark and generally not very pleasant to stay in. There were barely any windows, just a few giving onto a narrow alley (and you want to keep the shutters closed). We could hear every steps from the upstairs neighbours. If you stay less than 4 days, they don't change towels unless you ask for it. Given the high ratings on booking this was very disappointing.

Heerlijk verblijf!

Locatie is perfect in de leuke/gezellige straat in Pietermaai met wat barretjes en restaurants. Het appartement ziet mooi uit, is schoon en heeft alles. Het zwembad is ook heerlijk voor afkoeling aan het einde van de dag.

Appartement is gehorig; er waren 2 feestjes in de grote straat en schuin achter, die kon je horen alsof ze bij je raam aan het borrelen waren. Ook de bovenburen hoor je enorm, heel erg gekraak. Een ondervloer op de eerste zou geen gek idee zijn.

Fijne dagen gehad. Ideale locatie om vanuit hier Willemstad te verkennen.

Toplocatie! Comfortale studio met alles aanwezig. Fijn was ook de mogelijkheid verblijven in de tuin met zwembadje.

Tijdelijke bouwactiviteit bij buren.

Excellent stay

Terrific location in Pietermaai area. Lots of restaurants nearby and short walk to the canal and markets. Property was really nice. We had a room overlooking the garden and pool. Beautiful. Private

Heerlijke dagen in Pietermaai

Top plek, overal dichtbij, goede bedden en erg schoon, goede tips ook voor restaurantjes in de buurt, makkelijk parkeren

WiFi viel vaak weg, bij appartement op begane grond weinig privacy door langslopende mensen, maar wel eigen terrasje dus verder geen probleem

Amazing location, great hosts, easy parking

The location of this place is amazing. Restaurants and bars are nearby, but aren't so loud you hear the sounds inside. The center of Willemstad is a short walk away, and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The Old Market, Tiki Loco bar and restaurant BijBlauw nearby all come highly recommended. Street parking is free and easy to find during the day, trickier at night.

This is a house in an older neighborhood, and it's more difficult to keep the heat out. The bedroom is a loft, and has an AC unit, so nights were warm, but not uncomfortable.

Wir würden es in dem Zustand aber nicht nochmal buchen

Gute Lage, gute Größe, nettes Personal

Leider hatte das Studio einige Mängel. Das Waschbecken war lose am Waschtisch. Die Tür zu Dusche lies sich nicht vernünftig schliessen, sodass ständig beim duschen Wasser rauslief und neben dem Bett stand. Zudem hatte der Kühlschrank einen sehr schlechten Geruch( Verdobener Fisch oder Fleisch) Leider gab es eine Baustelle nebenan die Lärm verursacht hat.

Nice flat, great location, but with improvement potentials

Spacious flat with a kitchenette, living room and a combined bed and bathroom. Nice decoration, sufficient plates, cutlery etc. Comfortable couch, very well working aircon and wifi. The bed was very comfortable. Great location and nice pool area but beware of the chemicals - they turn all light colors pink

No door between bed and bathroom, after swimming in the pool all white clothes turned pink and are ruined now, Kitchen was equipped with dirty pods, they were replaced upon notification. Housekeeping was promised to show up, but didn't - needed reminder. Housekeeping didn't clean - needed additional reminder. Outside seating area is at a regular alley - so no possibility to securely dry things. Irregular office hours.

A true oasis

After some time traveling, this property is truly an oasis. We stayed in room 5 and it is spacious, comfortable, and stylish. The kitchen is a welcome retreat when a bit of home cooking is all you want. The location is near many restaurants and is a fine spot to spend a few days wondering, beaching and drinking cocktails.

Great experience: nice and tidy rooms with a view of a beautiful pool. Fantastic location to explore Willemstad with several nice places to eat and drink directly in front of the hotel. Would always recommend!

Customer service excellence perfect 10

The property is located right in the heart of Williemstad very convenient location I found that I can walk around the city and just explore every nook and cranny that I could possibly see around.

There’s not a lot of negatives about the property itself, but there are a couple of recommendations that can make it even much more of a comfortable stay. The outside lock was a little cumbersome for me to open at night time also, it’s very dark at night in order to input the numbers to open takes a little bit of of a while. The suite which is beautiful does not have a length mirror or any dressers my clothes, unfortunately stood in my suitcase, the whole week that I was there.

Very good

Vibby ( hope I spelt her name correctly) was warm and friendly and she recommended many places to us. She's an excellent worker. She answered all of our questions. Great customer service. The location was close to shopping , the Queen Emma Bridge and several restaurants. I would recommend the La Boheme restaurant and the Iguana Cafe. The bed was comfortable. They provided everything that was advertised in the ad. The pool was good. They even have an outdoor patio where you can have a meal. The decor was on point.
