Super friendly in a lovely area , just 5 mins away form Lincoln , the food was excellent , family run house so all superb environment, lovely grounds to sit in, and enjoy a drink from one of the 2 bars , happy to return but this time I would stay for longer ,

Tiny bathroom but comfortable bed!

Room nice but a bit old and could do with a face lift.

Out of the way a bit from Lincoln and we found the condition of the place somewhat under what the pictures seem to imply. Still a nice place for one day or so.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. Gave us vegan options that were very tasty

Reception immediate/welcoming/informative. Personally shown to room (offer to assist with luggage). Warm rooms, wood burner in the reception area, comfortable king size bed, quality bathroom furnishings, albiet with a wonderful 'old feel' to the property. We chose room only but stayed for dinner one night... my wife's rack of lamb was perfectly pink - my duck was equally delicious. Our request for fresh milk was quickly excecuted with a smile and an offer of further assistance... housekeeping called by at 9:55am to see if there was anything else that we needed. Checkout was equally efficient and courteous. Well done!!

Close location to Lincoln was great. Very quiet. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was delicious.

The room we were allocated was peculiar in that it was the top attic of an adjacent building not much room in the bedroom, had to walk down / up two other short flights of stairs to get to the bathroom.

memorable and would certainly return if visiting Lincoln (shire) again. Fairly and reasonably priced.

The grounds and setting were beautiful. The evening meal was a high standard of food.
The double room was very small.

A very elegant hotel, nicely situated away from the bustle of Lincoln but no more than a few minutes drive. Pleasant comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant, friendly and helpful staff

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Food was excellent it was so nice to have a freshly cooked breakfast unlike the rubber eggs and warm bacon you tend to get in a lot of hotels these days. We will certainly be returning.

Beautiful hotel in a very nice area. Friendly staff!
However the walls are way too thin, you can hear every noise from the neighbours. The doors are very bangy

One of the best hotels my wife and I have stayed in. This was a comfortable hotel and the food was excellent. A double room with breakfast cost us around £100 a night. The surroundings are more geared to couples than young families. The staff were unfailingly helpful and there was good parking on site. Only one negative - the shower hardly worked at all. We intend to stay there again as opportunity allows..
