The resort is a fantastic place. To stay well looked after and great service. My only negative point is they have a bar club house which seems to be aimed entirely at the golfers so this shuts early and at random times. So therefore no where to sit for an evening drink. The only place that is open is their oak room which all the signage states is by reservation only, so could be a little confusing overall a nice place to get away.

Just be aware you are purchasing just a room. Even if you splash the extra for breakfast on the app you get toast, yoghurt or choice of 3 cereals. For somewhere claiming to be the best restaurant around that is what they class as continental. So aftwr youve paid for 'breakfast' if you want a hot breakfast its another £15. You have no use of any facilities even if your room was £215 a night. The gym they want you to pay£10 for the day. To use the pool, sauna, jacuzzi its £65 for 3hours. And thats each not per room. And no discount if your are a guest. Treatments obviously on top. Dinner is reasonably priced.
The room by the lake are top standard and great view, no aircon. And if you oeave your door open you are greeted with a typical farm smell of manure im guessing from the pond/ducks? If you dont pay for spa or play golf there is nothibg else there

My wife and I had the most perfect weekend away here. The room was amazing and incredibly comfortable! The reception staff went above and beyond and Awe can’t thank them enough. If you are considering a weekend spa retreat this is the place to go!

This is a gold course, not a hotel. The rooms were an afterthought, on a separate building/extension. There are no public areas, no amenities or facilities. Your bedroom door opens directly to the car park.

Honestly this was really oversold and under delivered.
Booked this as a romantic getaway with husband and was left so so disappointed.
Firstly, booked this due to the "hot tub"..please know this is not a hot tub. A hot tub is defined as aerated water and this was simply an outdoor bath with 2 taps in the pouring rain (REALLY). Unable to use for our trip which was the sole reason for booking.
Bar not open due to private celebrations - was given the option of drinking in the pizza room overlooking the spa and people in very unflattering attire. (Naturally as the location overlooks the cold pool). Wouldn't of minded so much but the area itself was completely lacking in ambiance and not very appealing.
As another reviewer said, it's literally just a golf course and spa. It's not a hotel, not a hot tub and due to our disappointment we checked out at 8.30 and didn't even check out the "complimentary" breakfast as we saw the night before that hot food had an additional charge.
Left the room a few times and had a lovely evening in Morrisons and then the nearby petrol station. Really really not worth the £220 I paid.
I contacted hotels.com to explain how disappointed I was and they said they sent through a service request and the resort must respond in 74 hours..... Well this was bank holiday Monday and I'm writing this on Sat which has now been over 96 working hours so I guess that was a lie too.

Amazing place! Stayed in a spa room and it was lovely. Bed was the best I've ever had in a hotel, great view of the lake and close to the bar, restaurant & spa. Both the restaurant and bar were very friendly, lovely food in the restaurant. Would definitely visit again

Beautiful stay at Laceby Manor so peaceful and quiet. Absolutely enjoyed sitting in the bath on the balcony overlooking the pond and golf course. Even saw 2 roe deer perambulating across the course. It's nice to see that a hotel can provide enough hot water for a bath.
The staff were so welcoming and lovely, nothing was too much to ask.
Restaurant was excellent too, nothing to complain about! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I booked this hotel as an anniversary celebration. The listing looked great, with the room being described as a Spa Suite. The room was lovely and the grounds very well presented. My issue upon arrival was to learn that access to the pools was NOT included in the stay and was an additional cost of £99 per person per access. I had to raise a complaint whilst there and got zero help from hotels.com - other than them speak to the hotel to confirm it was an error in their listing. After 2 hours of complaining ( with the hotel blaming hotels.com and vice versa), we managed to get an hour in the pools. The spa is beautiful, but we feel completely miss sold on what we were getting. Had we known, we wouldn't have chosen a 5 hour round trip to a essentially a nice hotel room.
On return, I asked hotels.com to raise an official complaint, but the hotel has not returned any calls to them, so hence me having no alternative but to leave this review.
The hotel has since updated the listing, to change the names of the rooms from Spa Suite to deluxe rooms and added their are extra fees for the pool access.
I'm pleased they have rectified the listing, but I was still completely miss sold and haven't been able to reach a resolution with the hotel.
