The small village of Sant Llorenc can be reached 5 km. further where you will be able to find bakeries, a petrol station, a supermarket and several small restaurants. The city of Manacor (10 km away) provides all sorts of markets, commercial activity, hospitals, show venues, etc. Whithin 10 or 15 km, you can find as well the most important beaches in the area of Llevant, many of them virgin, and charming villages like Artà or Capdepera, where you will be able to enjoy its gastronomic diversity, weekly markets, and summer local festivities . The estate is also a magnificent place for hiking and is a strategic point for practising cycling or playing golf at the nearby Golf Clubs in Pula, Son Servera and Canyamel. *Distances: Golf - 15km.Beach - 10km.Airport – 55 km. ------- A car is necessary.
This historic estate on Mallorca’s east coast is documented as early as 1264. It still retains various elements, especially from the 19th century, which bring to life its intense agricultural past and give it a strong character. The thick walls from its original construction (60-80cm) not only provide insulation from the outside temperature, but they also provide the building with a special atmosphere that evokes another era; that of a less bustling Mallorca, making the visitor truly feel a part of the island’s most authentic past. However, what surely makes this estate an exceptional place is its unique location, which allows for absolute privacy even when the island sees the most tourists, allowing the visitor to hear nothing but the sound of nature during their stay. In effect, the estate is located in a privileged enclave of the Sierra de Calicant, next to Llevant Natural Park, and the road leading to it does not continue towards any other destination. Moreover, its elevated position provides some privileged views of the surrounding area, and the property rises in a southeasterly direction above the neighbouring towns of Sant Llorenç and Son Carrió, reaching the sea, and, in a westerly direction towards the centre of the island. You can then relax whilst looking out to sea from your turquoise swimming pool (11x6m), from the terrace of your bedroom, or you can even look out to the west to admire the sunset from a hammock. Tranquillity and privacy are also guaranteed thanks to the large area of land around the estate. This land surrounds the building in all directions, and the owner’s sheep graze freely on it. ---------Its construction, whose last restoration phase ended in 2018, has extensive spaces both inside and out, which are all fully furnished and available exclusively to guests, along with WiFi and a satellite dish. Some details are outlined below: Inside: 800m2 distributed across two floors and a rooftop from which you can admire an incredible panoramic view of the island in all directions (360º). It has large communal areas, included among which is a two-storey 70m2 lounge (5.5m) that offers elements including a dining table large enough to accommodate all occupants of the house at once. An extensive kitchen, with views to the pool area and out to sea, allows you to conveniently prepare all types of foods and meals. However, not all occupants always perform all their activities at the same time; therefore, there are also other independent communal areas, smaller in size, which are suitable for different circumstances. For example, it boasts another complementary kitchen (smaller but fully equipped with fridge, oven, dishwasher, etc.), located in the east wing of the house, living rooms and indoor or outdoor dining tables for 4 - 6 people; ideal for smaller meetings. The house offers seven bedrooms. Six of them are furnished with two king size beds each (2x0.9m), which can be used together or separately. The other room has a double bed. Given the large surface area of two of these rooms (over 30m2) and their features (en-suite bathroom and one or two private terraces), they can also be set up as quadruple rooms upon request (thus totalling 18 places). This turns these last two bedrooms into an ideal solution for sharing a holiday with your small children, for example. Cots and highchairs for babies are also available at no additional cost.* AIR CONDITIONING is available in the seven bedrooms. There will be an extra charge (Please ask on arrival)Outside: Extensive outdoor space with exclusive access to over 25,000m2. The pool/barbecue/outdoor dining area is close the house.
