Super convenient place to stop overnight when travelling on the motorway. Cheap and with all necessary amenities for a short stopover. Located next to plenty of food joints and petrol station.
Basic hotel so don't expect much, fits its role as a comfortable road stop so don't go there for a holiday.

Within M40 J2 services 24hr access and easy parking. Clean room.
Far too expensive for offering. No kettle in the very cramp sized room, hardly able to walk around the bottom of the bed. Had to get hot water for tea/coffee a long way down the corridor, no reason for no kettle. TV remote control very slow to work!

Connection to highway is excellent
friendly staff also at midnight
The shower is so small that I with 125 KG can not pass the narrow gap of the glass door . So I could not use this facility . The room is too small .

The whole experience. Great location, nice and clean, smooth early check in with great staff

I choose to have a breakfast roll and coffee at the Starbucks in the service station. It was adequate but not something to linger over.
In the Ibis room I particularly liked the shower - because there is only enough room to stand up and turn around in you don't worry about slipping and falling over. Also the little recesses are perfect for placing your shampoo etc.
The absence of tea/coffee facilities in the room is annoying.

Convenient location
I was a bit anxious about parking - it wasn’t clear from the Booking.com listing whether it was free - and the services car park gets expensive overnight. A call to customer service confirmed it was free, as did the receptionist when we arrived - who also took our number plate - but it would have been good to have something in writing.

Clean & functional room with bathroom facilities
Location was at a service station - quite far from train station
8.0 / 10.0
Good location for town centre, £10 in a taxi, plenty of food choices at the services and free parking for hotel residents.
The extractor fans in the toilet and shower were so clogged up with dust they have to be health and safety hazards!

Size of the room. Lift not working with card.

expensive and rooms are not good at defending the noise outside so no good if light sleeper

We were looking for somewhere to stay while attending an event, so just needed somewhere to sleep. The room was basic, but the clue was in the title and it had all we needed, including free parking. The Wetherspoons next door was great for drinks in the evening and breakfast in the morning.
The room was a bit basic, but it's a budget hotel and it was reflected in the price we paid.

We didn’t know what to expect and were really surprised at the accommodation. We knew it would be basic, but the rooms are very well designed, the bed was comfortable and the sound proofing from outside was excellent.

Good location for an overnight stop. Facilities are basic, but the price is low to reflect this. Room was clean.
It was a cold night and the heating could be better. Room was very cold to start with as "the room had not been used for five days" according to the staff and warm air heater was not on. It had not occurred to the staff to turn it on prior to my arrival. Heater would not work to begin with, but was finally sorted out by the staff. Then blasted very hot air and I was told to not adjust the settings, just turn off when room too hot. Spent the night turning heater on and off!
Room is too small for a twin bed layout.

I left my phone charger in socket. I called twice about it and each time was told I would receive a call back. No call back I can just think a cleaner probably took it

Location was brilliant that was why we stayed there.
Room was very basic as expected but there was an awful smell of drains coming out of the shower and sink plug hole.

A row of 6 free to use electric car chargers
This is a budget hotel with minimal sized rooms. This was not unexpected and not a problem for our stay of less than 12 hours

No breakfast option in hotel, it's next door in Wetherspoons
Easy to get to, no frills but does what it says
Nothing really - it's a place to stop over en route to other places, great for that
