This place has a comfy vibe, lovely sun room, piano room, garden with a table tennis table for the kids
It was just the right size for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids)
I communicated with Dan at the outset and he was on the ball and responsive
Also Good TV, nice kitchen, comfy beds, study and excellent wifi throughout the house
Its also near (10 mins walk) to the Royal Standard a 900 year old pub) and the Lion. The Lion is more upmarket and has great food
We would definitely book this again if in the area in future

Our family had a wonderful stay at Dan's lovely home in the Chilterns. He was a most accommodating host who was always available when needed. The well-tended home is located beside numerous walking trails, which took us through rambling meadows, woods, horse fields and to great local pubs. The conservatory was sunny, beds were comfortable and the ping pong table was a treat. Finally, as a musical family, we particularly loved the access Dan provided to his beautiful piano. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Lovely well equipped house in a great location. We went with a party of 6 adults and there was plenty of room in the lounge / conservatory for us all. Rest garden was secure for the pets. Pub within a 10 minute walk which does great food and beer.

Dans house, tucked away in a gorgeous english village just 0.5 miles from everything you could need, is, as the description seems - quintessentially english cottage, riddled with charm and persoanlity. It is spacious and warm and has a lovely relaxing energy throughout. The beds and rooms were comfortable and quiet, the lounge and TV were perfect for watching the football and the sun room and back farden are the highlight of the house. We spent many many hours simply enjoying the table tennis and serenity. We cannoy wait to head back as this space is a must. Many thanks Dan for being swiftly responsive to our questions and understanding of our stupidity. A wonderful host. We found an absolute gem.

Looking for a quiet getaway, the country side was literally at the doorstep so a great location. The property was classic cottage feel with all utilities and clean. The owners were very helpful and welcoming and clear with instruction and we’d definitely consider staying again in the future.
